It always helps if one logs in before keying the report!
It's on page 3. *Smacks head hard against desk*

Well, regardless... thank you for the update, the update you're singing. Oh, a little mistake: In the RP section, you put the code around one of the words in the RP section. The last one should be .

Er...how did you know I was singing the last update, Delegate? Thank you for spotting my difficulty with the italics. I don't understand it...those things just keep getting away from me! See what I mean? That was not me!!! Honest!

February 8th, 2006The Stabilizing Force of 1 Infinite Loop has served the EP for 499 days as Delegate. It seems that since my last report, some of our nations have found new homes as the EP now contains 6939 nations. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Noctaurus, our new UN Liaison, to the EP. May you enjoy your time with us. The EP voted against the UN motion on "Anti-Terrorism". Role-PlayIn Shiro Academy, the number of students travelling on the break has grown to ten. They have just landed at Faramount International Airport in FPS, and had their first taste of the notorious FPS bureaucracy. Just before disembarking, the stewards distributed a 40+ page booklet to be completed by each passenger designed to curtail the spread of the Neko Flu amongst other things. Grown men were seen to cry in the aisles. The students were simply transferring to another flight to take them to Dannistaan, and so would not be leaving the terminal. Rumour has it that each had to swear to give up his/her first born in order to be permitted to fill out the first page only, and agree to a blood test. Of course, this is only a rumour. The Neko Flu virus still spreads. Scientists in Kelssek have managed to isolate the virus, and teams of researchers from other nations are still trying to find either an effective antiviral or a vaccine. Even those individuals who are proving to be immune to the flu are offering no help to the researchers, as their blood contains no antibodies. Mysteriously however, in one post, Dr. CATS, a geneticist from 1 Infinite Loop makes the statement, "...I provide you with a treatment for the Flu, and I get Him," to Kim Il Jong. One must wonder whether CATS actually does have a treatment, or simply wants what Kim Il Jong has. A new thread, Peacekeepers, has just started. I'll keep you posted as developments occur. Off-Topic ForumsThe Lounge has seen its fair share of discussions this week, and the Pacifics Interactive Forum has been busy. That's it for this week from the EP. As always, please feel free to post questions/comments/etc. and I will do my best to answer them. Take care.

You are most welcome, Delegate.
 How about, "Do Teddy Grahams have souls?"
Uh, oh. You meant about the report.
Er...um...hmm...I'll have to get back to you on that one.
 I've got it! What was I singing as I keyed this report?

Oh no, Delegate. I was really hoping that you wouldn't choose that question! I'm afraid that the only person who could truly give you an answer is Mr. Christie.

February 16th, 2006The East Pacific currently sits at 6895 nations, and the Stabilizing Force of 1 Infinite Loop has served the region in his position as Delegate as for 507 days. The EP voted in favour of the motion to "Repeal Abortion Rights". The Capitalist Coalition came into being in early December, initially as an alliance between East Malaysia and Xiopothos. As of February 12th, East Malaysia has withdrawn from the alliance in order to enter into an alliance with the Kandarin Federation. Off-Topic ForumsThings have been very quiet in the EP this week. Role-PlayThe vacationing Shiro students are stuck at the airport because of an overbooked flight. Apparently last week's rumour of having to give up each of their first born was simply that -- a nasty rumour! Amazing how these things get started! Peacekeepers, the new thread I mentioned last week, took off about five minutes after I finished posting my weekly report. Tyrsis Imperium had become very unstable, and at the request of the Grand Vizier of the EP, the Dannistrians, with the help of the Mechans from Pheonix 101, had been asked to send in peace-keeping troops. At last reading, the Emperor of Tyrsis had been captured, the nation freed and FPS was moving in to take control. War of Eternity is a new thread which has Empress Glendale Jung of East Malaysia explaining that all four Malaysias (North, South, East and West) are descendants of the Malaysian people of Malay Prime. Unfortunately, due to treachery in the past by the Bishop family, the West Malaysians have vowed to destroy the East Malaysians. She must find Malay Prime, and return both an ancient tome and a key before the West Malaysians attack. Unfortunately, she is too late. At this point in time, the West Malaysians have destroyed two East Malaysian Galaxy-class battle cruisers and invaded Ventax, a border system on the edge of East Malaysia's territories. The East Malaysian fleet is now enroute to Ventax. Kandarin, another space-faring nation, is aware of EM's fleet movement, but has not been asked for aid. In Ekibiyo, the nation of 1 Infinite Loop has been devastated by the Neko Flu. With over 400K dead, and the remainder of the population infected, the Cylons, the Empress and Hikaru remain aboard the Battlestar. FPS, too, has been hit hard, second only to the Loopites. Still, scientists search, so far in vain, for a vaccine. "Out of the Mist" one of EP's most respected and diplomatic nations has reappearing. Travelling to the region's capital in Rillanon, Commander Rainer of the Wachovia Coalition is attempting to make sense of all that has gone on in the region since his nation went into seclusion. That's it for this week from the EP. As always, feel free to post questions/comments/complaints/etc. and I'll do my best to answer them, or find someone who can. Have a good week! :waves:
