Or just straight up the Inner Canal.

Does that canal have these aforementioned "Otters?"

December 5, 2005
The East Pacific seems to have had a growth spurt. It's currently sitting at 6216 nations. The Stabilizing Force of 1 Infinite Loop is in the 434th day of his delegacy.
Off-topic Forums
The Lounge has been a much busier place this week.
Role-Play
In Vladistock City, which I mentioned in an earlier report, things have gone from bad to much, much worse. The Vladistock gov't has provoked extreme civil revolt. The Keelan Rangers, one of the oldest and largest branches of the Vladistock army, have revolted and joined with the civilian protesters and Krech forces have moved in to help quell the rebellion and rioting. Then, without warning, the government initiated "Operation Cleansing" and detonated a nuclear warhead in the centre of Vladistock City. The entire nation is undergoing change as a result. The Modern Socialist Movement came into being just prior to this post, and it is suspected that civil war will continue for some time.
In a related thread, an emergency meeting of the East Pacific Treaty Organization (EPTO) was called. Humanitarian aid will be offered, though not military aid.
In Angel of Death, the genetically modified metroid resembling an 8-year old girl and also genetically altered to not attack humans instinctively, has been moved to a place of safety. This occurred after the lab facility in Kandarin was attacked by the Xiopothans. The Kangarawan geneticist is currently in "custody" in Kandarin.
Although classes have yet to start, more and more students are arriving at Shiro Academy. For the time being, it's meet and greet, or time to get reacquainted.
And that's it for this week from the EP. As always, I'm happy to answer questions, or find out answers. :waves:

December 12, 2005The East Pacific currently sits at 6210 nations, and our delegate, the Stabilizing Force of 1 Infinite Loop is in the 441st day of his delegacy. While sorry to lose the Delegate as our Ambassador to the EP, we understand the extent of the duties she has both here and elsewhere. A warm welcome is extended to the new Ambassador, Eternal Desire. The Office of Role Play Affairs, an Executive Cabinet Office, officially came into being December 8, 2005 after the Role-Play Legislation Act (RP-1) was drawn up and finally passed by the Magisterial Assembly on December 6, 2005. Off-Topic ForumsAlthough our own off-topic forums have been relatively quiet this week, there have been a fair number of hits on the Pacifics Interactive Forums. Our Lounge even has its own thread Opinions on Craziness As seen in Hyrule! Role-playIn the Shiro Academy thread, more and more students are arriving almost daily, spending their time doing what students do when classes haven't started yet -- have fun, eat and get to know one another. Civil war continues in Vladistock. A Dannistranian General sympathizing with the rebels, fired missiles at one of the cities, only to have them go off course, causing many casualties. Individuals from yet other nations are looking for a financial advantage, and certainly supporting the rebels would open up a more centrist or possibly even capitalist government. Dannistran has finalized its Defense Contracts. General Dynamics, a company from Free Pacific States, was the big winner, with Nivogal and a Dannistranian Company winning the other bids. Specifics of the contracts are currently being sorted out. Angel of Death is drawing to a close. And that's it for this week from the East Pacific. As always, feel free to make comments, or ask questions and I'll do my best to answer them. :waves:

Yep, EM posted it there too. But here, it's like our most popular non-Dodecahedron thread.

December 19, 2005
The East Pacific currently sits at 6251 nations, and our delegate, the Stabilizing Force of 1 Infinite Loop, has served our region for 448 days.
It's been incredibly quiet in the East Pacific this week, both in our Off-Topic Forums and in Role-Play. For many, it is a time of exams, preparing for the holidays and/or traveling to see family.
Off-Topic Forums
One new game, "Some More Mornington Crescent", has a number of us losing our marbles simply trying to figure out the rules!
There have again been numerous hits on the Pacifics Interactive forums, forums where many of us head for a little rest and relaxation.
Role-Play
Shiro Academy has seen a little excitement this week as one of the students became ill. One of the other students is the genetically created human-metroid from Angel of Death.
The Emperor of East Malaysia was assassinated, and the funeral ceremony is currently underway.
Angel of Death has almost reached its final post.
And that's it for this week from TEP. As always, feel free to post comments/questions, and I'll do my best to respond.
On a personal note, I'd like to wish all of you a safe and joyous holiday season. May all your wishes and prayers be answered.

I wonder, will the embassy be closed for the holiday break, as the Department of Interregional Relations is going to be. Ahem. (Hint, Hint)

My thanks, Delegate!
And always one to pick up on subtle reminders (Ahem, hint, hint), the Embassy will be closed over the holiday break.
