The following is a conversation between a Forward Air Controller and Air Force Command:
"This is FAC 1. Repeat, this is FAC 1. Over."
"Come in FAC 1."
"We have just spotted movements in the uninhabitted lands to the west of Austria. Not known who."
"Keep us informed FAC 1. Anything else?"
"Nothing yet...Wait. Sir, we just spotted missiles in the area. Also, the AG flame."
"Al Gedi? What are they doing?"
"No idea, sir, but. Wait. MISSILE LOCK! EVADE! EVADE! EVA----"
"Come in FAC 1. Repeat come in."

The FAC went down over the forests and Dracon watched with satisfaction. That would show those infidels, he thought. He ordered that the missiles be preped and ready to go. When that was done, and when the Protoa insignia was painted on, he ordered a missile to launch. He smiled as the first missile streaked away, heading for its target, Robengrad. Dracon would kindly start the next Hyrulian war and get revenge for the annexation of his country. The 30 megatonne nuclear warhead would kill someone, he silently hoped. Then Al Gedi would be the once thriving and influential power it had been years ago. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Air Force Command, Deep in Rieler
"Sir, we have just reported a missile launch to the west of Austria. It seems to be aimed at the Robengrad territory," said a Leftenant
"Alright. Monitor it and keep me posted. Scramble some jets to stay in a holding pattern just outside of Austria," the General said.

"My lord, we have pressing issues at hand." "What is it?" "Apparently a missile was fired west of Austria, heading towards Robengrad." Lucian scowled. He then turned to his aide. "Prepare a fleet. I want 2 carriers, 3 destroyers, and 5 battleships ready to set sail near Clampapra. I hope my good friend won't mind us spending the night."

The Fuhrerbunker:
"We believe it to have been a Soviet launch Mein Fuhrer. It came from a region we know there to be Soviet first strike submarines in. As such we should take this as a hostile launch against us."
"Rat bastards! Prepare to launch a counter-strike. I'm ordering SNAPCOUNT. I want you to work out where this nuke is headed and scramble all fighters to try to take it down. Activate the coastal S.A.M. batteries as well, I want all available resources on stand by to take this down.
"And ready the Wehrmacht on the Buhayin boarder, if they are launching nukes at us it could well be followed by an invasion. Send a final telegram to Lucian,
"Lord" Lucian, You have launched a nuclear missile at my country. After all your pontificating saying you will stand down you have brought about the destruction of your nation. As I write this I am preparing to enter SNAPCOUNT, once we are at full readyness Operation Skyfall will come into play and you, your nation and your allies will understand why you should not mess with the Empire.
Yours Robert Hess Fuhrer of The Empire of Robengrad

(OOC: This, I hope adds a bit of comic relief, but it's serious as well)
"Shit! Shit! Shit!" the intelligence officer known as Agent H had just received a bone-chilling report. Printing it quickly, he took it and raced to his boss, head of MI6, the secret intel-gathering agency of Macarono. "Sir! Mr. Arturo!" he busted through the door not bothering to knock, "You have to see--Agh!"
"Agent H, what did I say about knocking?!" Arturo was in a compromising position with his secretary. He quickly pulled up his pants and sent the young woman, redder than a strawberry, out.
"Jesus Christ, I'm sorry sir, but I have something--"
"Don't be sorry, just never tell this to another living being. Take this to your grave, and that's a goddamn order."
"Yes, sir, but you really have to--"
"It's just this job is so damn stressful. I work 16 hours most days and when I get home my wife is so fucking pissy--"
"SIR!" he finally got Arturo's attention. "Sir, if stress is what led you to bang Miss Unpaid Intern, you'd better call her back in here, because I've got some heavy shit."
"Hand it over," Arturo ordered. H obeyed, and he watched his boss as he read the report. Arturo's eyes almost immediately grew wide. His hand began to tremble, and his voice quivered when he spoke. "Do we know who launched it?"
"Well it seems pretty obvious to me, sir. There are only a few nuclear powers that want Robengrad taken down. France is one, but they've been isolating themselves for some while now, something like this would be out of character for them. That leaves Protoa. And I think we all know what's going on between Protoa and Robengrad."
"Are you sure, Agent H?"
"Can you think of anyone else with nukes, sir?"
"Clamparapa?"
"Well, they'd have no reason to--wait...are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Clamparapan Crisis? Al Gedi?"
"Yes sir. It could be either of them: Protoa or Al Gedi. I just don't understand the motive for the terrorists..."
"They're terrorists, they want to inspire fear! What better way than a nuke?"
"I know that sir, but why Robengrad?"
"Because they're taking advantage of the current situation. If Robengrad finds out about this, their first instinct will be to blame Protoa, and then..."
"Aw, shit."
"Hold on, H, I'm getting the Emperor on the line now...Hello, Emperor, is this you, sir?"
"What is it Arturo? I'm very busy right now!" He could be heard eating his favorite cereal, Admiral Ackbar.
"Sir, get Hess on the line now, we need to explain something to him..."

The intelligence reports coming into MI6 (Military Intelligence, Sector 6 my intelligence agency, quite good you know...) had been like watching drops of water fall from a faucet. Tiny, insignificant reports would come around every now and then hardly making a splash as they made their way through the different departments and finally on a sheet of paper, which Il Duce personally read each morning.
Then all of a sudden those drops of water gave way to a waterfall. The poor men and women manning the radio frequencies and broadcasts were almost instantly flooded with information. Because Porcu was not directly involved with any of the current events what MI6 got was bits of information every now and then that they intercepted from Macarono, Robengrad, and slightly from Protoa.
News of a nuke having been launched and heading for Robengrad, information picked up from a message sent by Macarono to Robengrad, had lowly associates and high-placed directors scrabbling for verification and more information. Due to the shortage of reports in the past few weeks MI6 had lowered its staff and consequently they were paying for it now. Directors were shouting orders that completely overwhelmed the current staff. Coffee stains were visible on nearly every single person but there was no time to stop and laugh at what must have been a hilarious sight.
Messages had been sent to Macarono, Robengrad, and even Protoa. Il Duce, although being away in his summer retreat, was informed and only with the beginning of the next day could answers be made clear...

Dumakar Nemak rushed into Nakar Kor's audience chamber, where he was preparing to leave for the Buhayin. "My lord!" he cried out, almost falling as he came to a stop. "Nakar Kor! Our intelligence reports from the Executors working in Robengrad have shown that a nuclear weapon was launched at Robengrad! They believe it to be the work of Protoa, but an Executor in Macarono has reported that it might have been a terrorist organization operating out of Clampara. What should we do?"
Nakar Kor frowned, deep in thought. He finally decided, "We will send word to Lucian. Tell him if he did launch the missile, then it was foolish, but we will support him. If he didn't, then he must bring it down! We don't have the ability to take it down, but it must be done." Nakar Kor paused while Demak memorized the message, then said, "Have our agents in Robengrad do whatever they can to stop Operation Skyfall without compromising their cover. Hess must know nothing! Now go." Dumakar Nemak left swiftly to carry out Nakar Kor's orders.
Nakar Kor left to board the ship that would take him to the Buhayin. If it came to war, he would fight. Men have played the Gods for far too long, he thought. May the Gods have mercy on us all.

Air Force Command"Are the jets in place?" "Yes, General." "Make sure that they stay out of Robengrad territory when they drop that nuke." 30 000 metres outside of Robengrad"This is Peacemaker 2, repeat, Peacemaker 2, over." "This is General Harver. Are you ready?" "Yes, sir. Acquiring missile lock now. However we are only 10 000 metres from Robengrad." "Well, destroy the nuke!" "Yes, sir." The F-26 had a missile lock, only 2000 metres away from the Robengrad border. His wingman shouted, "FIRE FIRE FIRE!" 1500 metres away. 15 seconds. Peacemaker 2 launched the missile and pulled up, just 500 metres away from possibly causing an international incident. The missile struck the engine of the nuke and the nuke listed to one side. It veered off and headed straight for Clamparapa. "Sir, this is Peacemaker 2." "Did you destroy that thing?" "Yes, sir. However, we have a problem." "What do you mean?" "That missile is now heading straight for Clamparapa!" "WHAT!!!!!! " "I don't know where but it is just falling without an engine. I don't know where, but it will hit, I'm guessing, in 20 minutes." Air Force Command"We have determined, sir, that in 5 minutes, that missile will hit a city to the west of Riefort. Shadow Valley." "That's one of Clamparapa's biggest cities! Warn them to get out!" "Sir, it probably won't do any good." "Just do it." Shadow ValleyAir raid sirens went off in the massive city but it was too late. Nobody got out before the huge missile hit...

"We arent sure sir. All we know is some Clamparan jets launched a weapon against it and it veered off course. By the time our F-22's were in the area it was too late, the Clamparans had fled the scene." stated Goering
"Well that proves nothing, Clampara has tried to halt Protoa before, this could just be another attempt to stop Lucian starting a futile war. Where did it splash down?" Asked Hess
"Actually, mein Fuhrer, it hit Clampara. We arent sure as too damage, but it hit just outside Riefort. The mushroom cloud can be seen from Eisenstadt. The death toll is likely to be high."
"Very well. Call off SNAPCOUNT, but maintain our highest alert. If this was a Protoan launch we will act accordingly. And send some Blackbird recon planes over to Clampara, I want to see the result of this launch. Im intrigued."
"Ja mein Fuhrer"

Julian Behr woke up. His beautiful wife Gina lay beside him. They had just gotten back from their honeymoon in the Philippines, and Julian could never imagine his love for her fading. His kissed her softly on the cheek and got up to go to work.
Julian worked construction. More specifically, he was a crane operator. The job paid well enough, and he had saved enough money to put a down payment on a new house. He and Gina were to move in in three weeks. He entered the kitchen and poured himself a bowl of Admiral Ackbar cereal. He even played the corny kids games on the back, instead of watching television like he usually did. He finished consuming the delicious artifcally flavored corn puffs and washed the dished so Gina wouldn't have to. He wrote her a cute little note reminding her of how great his love was, and walked out of the door. It was a lovely day, he decided to walk and enjoy the serenity of the small city of Bangor.
After a few blocks of strolling leisurely to the construction site, Julian heard a deafening siren.
"ATTENTION! THIS IS NOT A TEST! EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY! HEAD NW, TOWARD MACARONO CITY! LEAVE ALL VALUABLES! ATTENTION..."
Julian hesitated for a minute, digesting the terrifying message. Realizing there was no time for questions, he turned around sprinted as fast as he could back to his condo, hoping Gina would hear the siren, realize that he walked today, and wait for him with the car ready.
Ten minutes later Julian arrived back at his house and, sure enough, there was Gina waiting for him. He hopped in the vehicle, and they sped off. However, traffic was, not surprisingly, terrible with all the cars headed in one direction. The MCCNH had never been so packed. Julian looked back, to see what the were running from. Perhaps the Clamparapans had double-crossed Macarono and invaded...but when he turned around he saw something much more frightening. A mushroom cloud. Growing quickly enough to envelop them in a few seconds.
"Honey...I love you," he said to Gina, crying.
"What's wrong, honey?"
"Just kiss me, dear..." she happily obliged, and though they were vaporized like 94% of the citizens of Bangor, they were the only two to die at the happiest moment of their lives.

"This is...impossible..."
"Duce, I know that this may be hard to digest however it is imperative that you think clearly as to what the Empire's response will be."
"In all my years as Duce I never once imagined that something so horrible as this would happen..."
"Just be content in knowing that it didn't hit within the boundaries of the Empire..."
"So many lives...So much confusion and chaos..."
"Duce! What will be the Empire's response?!?!"
Field Marshal Messe, who had also been summoned to Il Duce's office in the Kremlin, now made his presence felt as he stopped leaning again part of the office wall.
"That is quite enough Director! This news has come, to no surprise, as one hell of a shock and being a man who values life Il Duce is simply stunned by these unfortunate events"
"I understand that Field Marshal, but the international community awaits and..."
"All in good time. This nation, one of Hyrule's largest and most powerful, will certainly extend whatever help it can..."

Nakar Kor was on his heavily guarded transport Vindicator when the message came through.
"My lord. I can't believe it! So many lives..."
"Nemak, calm down. What happened?"
"The missile, my lord. It hit Shadow Valley, a large city in Clampara. The death toll was astronomical."
"Darker days lie before us, I fear. Send a message to Clampara. We will aid them however we can. And evacuate the major cities. Have our people flee into the countryside."
"My lord, why..."
"Because this crisis isn't over, and I don't want Nakarak to endure the same tragedy that Clampara has. Now go. Inform me of any changes."
"Yes, my lord."

Marcus Theafer sat down and waited for the cameras to turn on. He couldn't believe what had happened. Over 1.5 million Clamparapans were killed, with radiation going as far as Macarono. He was sure it was Al Gedi. After listening to the last report from FAC 1, he was sure that Protoa had been framed. The camera operator counted down from 5 and pointed to him.
"My fellow Clamparapans. Today we have witnessed the single most destructive event in our history. Never before has one single thing killed so many people in so short a time. Today, the city of Shadow Valley is..." He paused. He was broadcasting to all televisions and large screened monitors in Clamparapa. All cities had one on a billboard in the center and people were crowded around it. He had to say it. "Shadow Valley is no more. A nuclear missile struck the city at full force and vaporized everything and everyone in the city. We are estimating that hundreds of thousands are dead, not including citizens from other countries. No one has claimed responsibility yet, but we have a good idea as to who it was. I promise you, we will find the culprits and show them the utmost justice they didn't show those who died. Please pray for those who were injured and the families of the dead. Do not lose hope. We WILL find those responsible, and they WILL be brought to justice." Theafer sat back, took a deep breath, and closed his eyes. It was going to be a long week. He sent a message to all nations in Hyrule.
Dear Leaders of Hyrule
As you already must know, we were hit by a nuclear missile less then 3 hours ago. I know Protoa was not responsible. I am sending a recording of a conversation between a FAC and our Air Force Command attached with this message. Al Gedi was responsible, not Protoa. The terrorist organization thinks that they can cause a civil war in Hyrule and I will not have it. We must band together and show these terrorists that they are wrong. Put away your differences and alliances just until we kick Al Gedi out of Hyrule. I assure you that unless we join forces against Al Gedi, they will not stop the attacks. I hope you consider this offer of a coalition.
Highest Regards General Secretary Marcus Theafer

To All Hyrule Nations.: We are not fully aware of Al Gedi's movement and practices. I do know that they exist; however, they never set up a base in StargateSG-1 boundaries and for us to even consider acting on them we will need to see information on them, like camps, motives, and how could they ever have gotten their hands on a nuclear bomb? Yes we should stamp them out, but finding the short falls in security no matter where it came from should be our first priority. To Clamapara I will send aid to you because this event is greater than petty alliance differences can do. And my condolences on the death of the hundred of thousands if not millions of people. Emperor Tojo

To All Parties Concerned,
After receiving Emperor Tojo's message I fully stand by his side. As I write this and as you read this MI6 is working around the clock trying to uncover anything that they can. However, this is not a one man job and so I propose that our various intelligence agencies, Axis and ESTO alike, work together to quickly put this very elaborate puzzle together. As with StargateSG-1, the Empire of Porcu is ready to send any sort of aid that my be required. Medical teams of the Esercito Fascista are prepared to embark, with the help of the Marina Fascista, immediately. My heartfelt condolences go to you, but more importantly they go to your people.
