Himmler sat at his desk for the first time since being allowed out of the Fuhrerbunker. He hated it down there, far too claustraphobic, and now Hess was headed for Luftwaffe Eins he had decided to come back to his office. For the first time in as long as he could remember it was not Jews coming through to the holding facility in the Gestapo H.Q., but instead suspected members of Al Gedi.
As more reports came in of suspects one particulaly caught his eye, this man suspected of being part of the Al Gedi organisation was not your average terrorist, he was a Captain in the Luftwaffe.....
Himmler immediatley tried to get hold of Goering and Hess, but to no avail. Within minutes the mans terrified wife and child were staring down the barrels of 3 MP5 automatic weapons as the Gestapo searched their house.
But it was too late, Captain Erich Staufenberg was already in the air, flying his B-52 in a holding pattern over its final staging point, waiting for the appointed time to strike.

OOC: Sorry for joining so late
IC:
Rendallas Air Force Base, 28 miles SW of Rendallas City
"Sirs...guys, has it ever occured to you that something suspicious is going on? We are the only nation that isn't involved in this terror stuff, even though we are literally in the center of it all. Sir, they know what we have...we have to do something."
Chris Colacito and General Tyler Laskell got up.
"Tim, how would Al Gedi know? We haven't said anything about it. Don't do anything...yet."
"Hey, don't I give the orders? I was the president of this nation the last time I checked! Anyway, Tim, have you heard of the arrests made at the international airport in Penguintopolis? It involved two men talking about "their hidden nukes" and "Flight 885 going down at 5:20" They were probably Al Gedi members. THEY somehow found out. So that means that we are in BIG trouble...don't do anything...yet."
"But, who knows?! They could be stomping over the border as we speak! We are at the closest point to Austria in the nation! Easy target, right?"
No one answered.
"OKAY FINE!"
Tim stormed out of the room. The nation seemed safe...for now.

News Report
Earlier this morning elements of the Marina Fascista began to make their way out of harbor and into the open seas, somewhere where they have not been in quite some time. As no word has been heard from the other nations involved and fighting against Al Gedi the Marina Fascista's primary mission will be to simply monitor the seas and coastlines.
At the same time, the recently renovated Stridsvagn 103s have made their way to the Porcuian border to the unclaimed lands and are simply waiting for orders from the Kremlin. While Field Marshal Messe and Porcu Military High Command has denied to provide any information whatsoever the PBC's guess is that the 103s would dash across the unclaimed land and make their way into Austria, so as to join the fight. Again details are limited and we here at the PBC are doing what we can...

Nakar Kor himself was at the head of his troops as they walked towards the encampment. Behind him marched two hundred warriors, swords drawn and faces filled with bloodlust. Nakar Kor drew his ebony blade and, lifting it in the air, shouted, "Death for our enemies!" With frenzied cries, they charged forward, heedless of enemy fire. Al Gedi agents turned machine guns on the approaching force, but with little effect. Only two were killed, and the rest continued their charge.
Nakar Kor was the first to close with enemy combatants. With a single stroke the first was dead, his skull split in half. A moment later a second fell, his entrails spilling out of his chest as he gibbered like a madman. The rest of his warriors entered the fray then, and Al Gedi was doing their best to try and flee. Many were cut down in that first assault.
Then the roar of engines could be heard as Al Gedi turned to their suicide bombers for aid. Four trucks drove at full throttle towards the Nakaran forces. One was crippled with firejelly, and a second was stopped when a warrior leapt inside and quickly slew the driver. The other two exploded in the heart of the Nakaran army. Thirty two were killed, and another twenty were seriously injured. Nakar Kor had his left leg blown off from the knee down, a bloody stump all that remained.
Nakar Kor was forcibly taken from the battle by his personal guard, fighting the entire time to return to the fight. Meanwhile, the last few terrorists were cut down, and the stores of weapons and explosives were destroyed with firejelly. It was clear that the nuclear bombs were not there.
Nakar Kor was flown by emergency helicopter to Nakarana, where Tanaka scientists would be hard at work for the next few days to attach an advanced prosthetic leg to his injured stump. Thankfully the knee joint remained intact; it prevented many complications. The prosthesis, with metal in place of bone and covered in hard scales, resembled that of a bird of prey or a fierce reptile, ending in a clawed foot. The remaining Nakaran troops were put under the command of Sanar Lucian until Nakar Kor recovered.

As the doomsday bombers continued their holding pattern over Hyrule, on the ground the entire S.S. and Gestapo were searching through documents and records on Cpt. Von Staufenberg. Slowly but surely the pieces of the puzzle were coming together, he was indeed involved in Al Gedi, but no one was quite sure how deep. The thing that was most worrying was the fact that at that very moment they knew he was in control of a nuclear device capable of wiping out a major city.
At Ramstein airbase 3 F-117 Nighthawk fighters, the total of the Luftwaffe's stock, were being fuelled up and armed. 20 minutes later they were in the air, headed for the B-52's. All of this was conducted with utmost secrecy so as not to alert Von Staufenberg panicing him into using his weapon of mass destruction.
But this secrecy was to backfire horrendously. The AWACS plane protecting the B-52's momentarily saw 3 blips show on its radar on an intercept course. Not recognising the signatures as friendlies they ordered the B-52's to scatter, sending 5 nuclear armed super-bombers spralling across the skies. On board his bomber Von Staufenberg twisted this development.
Knowing he could have scant minutes to deploy his weapon he told his crew that the final order had been given and Skyfall was in operation. He altered course and headed for his target, hoping he would have the time to finish his glorious mission.
4 minutes later he was almost in position to launch his attack. Crossing the sea between Nakarak and Austria he was closing on his hated enemy of Clampara when things started to go wrong. Over the intercom came a familliar voice, "Staufenberg" said Goering, "We know what you are up to. That is why we have to do this." Alarms rang out as missiles locked on the bomber, "NO!!" cried Von Staufenberg. In the distance he could see the fleets of the Coalition, and decided if he could not hurt Clampara he would show their allies Al Gedi was not to be messed with.
As the missiles left the Nighthawk's weapons bay he hit the weapon release. Crying out "Allah be praised" as the bomber was torn apart in a fiery explosion.
The 20 megaton bomb fell to the ocean beneath, exploding into a violent mushroom cloud, sending a nuclear shockwave hurtling toward the coalition fleet..........

Captain Luciano Quantino stood on deck of one of the numerous ships of the Marina Fascista that just a day earlier had left harbor in Porcu. A small fraction of the Marina Fascista was being commanded by him and within the hour he was scheduled to join the rest of the coalition fleet. Porcu, and the Marina Fascista, were latecomers and most of the Marina had not left their respective harbors in Porcu.
However this day, unfortunately for all involved, 2 battleships, 5 destroyers, 3 cruisers, and 1 aircraft carrier, along with numerous other smaller ships, were what comprised Porcu's naval contribution to the coalition. Luciano stood gazing at the sea full of allied ships ahead of him. They were not clear or completely recognizable and as Luciano continued to gazed ahead a bright flash of light, brighter than even the midday sun, grabbed his attention. Not sure of what it was Luciano looked right at the nuclear explosion and before he could mutter anything his eyes corroded and he was blind.
Luciano tried his best to make his way back to the command room, but soon he could hear what sounded like a rising storm. The winds began to pick up and seconds later a burst of energy and wind sent Luciano off of his feet. Not being able to see where you are falling frightening Luciano to the point where he nearly had a heart attack, although he was young and very physically fit. He landed on one of the battleship's huge cannon turrets, however he didn't know this at the time. The shockwave of the nuclear detonation knocked not only Luciano off his feet but pushed the actual ships to their limits as well. Many were tilted by the blast to a point where they could have turned over and capsized. Partly due to Porcuian naval design but mostly due to their distance from the detonation many of the ships did not. However this did not stop many unfortunate souls from being launched into the sea, most never to be heard from again.
Luciano took a moment to take a breath, something he seemingly forgot to do during the entire ordeal. He had no idea of the relative destruction done and the loss of life taken by the shockwave, but he was frightened to think that if his fleet was tossed around like it had been what would it have been like for the rest of the coalition fleet, which was much closer to the detonation. This thought only took a few seconds as suddenly the water came. A giant title wave created by the force of the nuclear explosion underneath the water's surface came crashing into Luciano's small fleet. Try as he might Luciano could simply not hold on and was cast into the ocean, as many of his other comrades had as well. The wave crushed and completely destroyed 2 destroyers and all the cruisers. The battleships were in critical condition, with all their electronic devices short circuited meaning that they were sitting ducks in the water. The carrier's most likely reason for survival was that it was partly shielded by a destroyer and a few cruisers. Although it was saved against the main force of the wave the title wave did manage to send a cruiser into the carrier's side, slicing up the starboard side of the carrier.
In the end oil, smoke, fire, and twisted metal were the only things left...

General Saren, his men, and the Nakarakan forces continued to progress when they head a loud, unmistakable explosion. General Saren turned around to see the ocean explode in horrible violence. "They detonated the nuke," Saren shouted. "And it hit underwater. Oh no! The fleet!" ============================ Admiral Rieekan (Captain of Saren's Rage) had just recently had his ships docked in the Buhayin when he noticed the tidal wave. "All men, prepare for impact!" he commanded."All ships drop anchor and connect to the docks! We only have a couple minutes!" Rieekan's men hurried on the ships, connecting them to the concrete docks. Hopefully, they would survive with the anchors down. Just then the wave hit, throwing everything any direction. When Rieekan got to his feet, his ship had been massively damaged. Fortunately, only 1 ship sank, the "Vladistok". The flagship "Violator II" had reported only minor damages to the fore guns near the prow. Now, it would seem, that they would have to pick up the pieces.

Pope Pius XII had been looking at the media coverage of the battles happening outside the borders of Austria and didn't like it one bit. True, Al Gedi was a real threat to the entire region, but such military force couldn't possibly solve anything. For the better part of an hour the Pope tried to understand what exactly was happening. During that time span priests, nuns, cardinals, and other members of the clergy stopped and watched as well. One of those was the Foreign Minister, Minister Nike.
Nike was not of the clergy, being neither a priest or deacon or other religious official. Being raised in the EU nation of Greece he had always had a passion for revolutionary activity and thus was an integral part of the Papacy's revolution and subsequent take over of the European Union. A throughly intelligent man he gained the attention of Pope Pius XII and after several meetings and conversations was appointed to be the Vatican's Minister of Foreign Affairs. This was all several years ago and the normal day to day life, an ordinary life, was getting boring. Lately his lust for change and revolution brought him closer to the very thing most of Hyrule was now fighting against.
Of course no one knew and because of his position within the government of the Papal States he was able to secretly house, train, and arm his fellow revolutionary combatants. This new escalation of events instilled feelings into him that he hadn't felt since the Papal Overthrow....

It has been announced today that The Empire of Robengrad is withdrawing from the coalition against Al Gedi. All Armed forces will be withdrawing back within the Imperial boarders and only occasional patrols will be sent out into the Western Lands.
This move has prompted some criticism from the rest of the Coalition but has been defended by defence minister Jodl, "At this time we have decided to withdraw our forces as we see little point in continuing the battle against an enemy with no 'true' army or home. While this does mark a significant change in Imperial policy we also believe that as the Government in our country is evolving and changing we need to have some stability at this time."
This evolution of government is also a great talking point here in the Empire, with Hess becoming increasingly older and more frail it is presumed that a successor will be brought in, in the coming few weeks. Wether this will mark a complete change in stance for the Empire we are not yet sure, but we have heard rumours that most of the Reichstag has become increasingly impatient with the failure of National Socialism and are pushing for a change of style in the way the Empire is run.

Protoan News Report
In light of Robengrad's withdrawal, Lucian issued a statement to his people.
"It seems that Robengrad has spoken truth about this Al Gedi army. They have been blown into disarray, and I don't believe they will recover. As for Protoa, we will keep our base in the Western Lands and begin to exploit it's mineral reserves there. Our scientist are working hard to find oil and uranium to help the Soviet Empire. I can only hope now that Hess will pass soon so Protoa and Robengrad can develop better relations. The Soviet Empire also has a message for the Coalition. From the coast to 20 miles inland near the city of Salzburg is Protoan Occupied Territory. Do not interfere with our workings there. Unity Before Freedom, Loyalty Until Death!"
This new development could bring peace to Protoa and Robengrad. Other News Today.... the Soviet Credit rose to break even with the Hyrulian Rupee....

Nakarak officially announced today that they would withdraw their forces from the hunt for Al Gedi. Nakar Kor, recently recovered from surgery, had this to say:
"These terrorists are broken, and they have learned to fear the battle cries of Nakarak's warriors, such that they flee in terror upon the mention of our people! The Gods have given us victory this day, and we shall hold a feast in honor of Dur Shal, God of War. Any leaders of countries in the Coaltion who can be spared are welcome to attend. Our enemies have stared us in the face and seen death. None can oppose us united and strong, and none can stand before Nakarak's might! Blood for the Gods, and death for our enemies!"

News Report
After the terrible damage done by a certain Capt. Von Staufenberg in the Robengrad Luftwaffe upon the small naval fleet commanded by Captain Luciano Quantino the Empire of Porcu has considered backing out of the Coalition, but after lengthy discussions within the Fascist Grand Council Porcu will remain dedicated to fight against Al Gedi. While the most likely site of "traditional" battle is gone and Al Gedi has fled across all of Hyrule Il Duce stated earlier this morning that Porcu will look to break up terror cells where ever they may form.
Most of the naval fleet that was scheduled to rendezvous with the rest of the Coalition Fleet was destroyed by the giant wave created by the nuclear weapon detonating underneath the ocean's surface. Captain Quantino is in critical condition and although not being able to speak it is clear that he is permanently blind and wheelchair bound. Already MI6 agents have been dispatched all across Hyrule and very small and mobile units are being prepared by the Esercito Fascista. As much as rumors have circulated about Hess's possible retirement in Robengrad the same can be said for Il Duce. Hyrule's longest current leader and one of Hyrule's longest rulers ever increases with age daily and it finally seems as if he has come to the end of the line. Recently, Field Marshal Messe, who is regarded as a national hero and exemplification of Porcu's greatness within the Empire, has stepped up and begun doing the tasks usually only Il Duce would do himself.
The future still has much to hold and reveal...

================================================== Vatican City, Papal States
Minister Nike walked on one of the many paths outside the lines of the Vatican and wished that the Vatican, which was the renamed capital of the EU, Brussels, was actually the one in Rome. When Pope Leo V managed to secure independence from the Empire of Porcu many within the Church and even people outside the Church could not imagine that an entire relocation would occur. Indeed, the true Vatican, the one still maintained and looked after in Porcu, was what Minister Nike wanted to rule but deep down he knew that a "second-rate" Vatican was his only option.
One good thing about the Papal States and the Church was that nature paths and trails were everywhere, many known to the public but many more unknown. It was on one of these unknown paths that Nike first encountered one of the new freedom fighters who named themselves Al Gedi. Nike didn't care so much about the name and after a lengthy discussion with this freedom fighter, who apparently was one of Al Gedi's most respected members, the Foreign Minister of the Papal States couldn't help but agree with this stranger. He called for radical changes, many that Nike that thought of already and some that hadn't even occurred to him. It was quite a while ago and Nike almost seemed to forget about it, at least until he walked upon the same path.
Once again, just like years before, Minister Nike found himself walking and talking with who now was a good friend.
"It is good to see you again Minister. Your accommodations are most appreciated and we cannot thank you enough."
"I'm happy to hear that everything is going according to plan and things are running smoothly. Have you and the rest of the leaders discussed my proposal?"
"Yes we have and we wholly accept..."
"Good. As you can imagine it hasn't been easy, but due to the amount of trust between our government and the Empire of Porcu, who is our main supplier of military arms and technology, I have been able to acquire more than enough equipment for our organization."
"As stated in your proposal you will be put in charge of what remains of the Papal States of the European Union and in turn Al Gedi will have a new homeland. From here and with the protection of some of Hyrule's best military equipment we can effectively protect ourselves from any attack..."
"For now keep as you have until now...Low. I will continue to provide whatever you may need and in turn I trust you will continue to train your men."
"Naturally...Al Gedi will rise again more powerful than ever before and nothing can stop it from occurring..."

ooc: I apologize. I was on vacation. I'm trying to whip this up as best as I can...if you know what I mean. It might be a little strange.
83 miles east of the coalition ships, Chris Colacito's private boat
"Oh, my god!" Chris Colacito and Tyler Laskell watched in horror as the wave engulfed the coalition ships.
"...uhh..uh...I-I'm s-speechless. H-How could dozens of b-boats disappear in a w-wave in a second fl-fla-flat?"
"I don't know, Laskell...I don't know." Let us be thankful that our's weren't out there. Thank god for that idiot Tim. He convinced us not to go out there...I guess.
"Yes...let us."
"Our country is very lucky to be a relatively new and somewhat ignored one. If we were in any sort of alliance and what-not...we'd be...well I don't want to think about it."
Colacito and Laskell rushed back onto the beach, trying not to think of that.

Field General Laudy Smith, one of the first female Field Generals in the Clamparapan Army, was watching the situation intently. In command of all Clamparapan forces against Al Gedi in this area, the 39 year old knew that either they were going to capture Dracon or he woud escape. Most likely the latter. Her force of 1,000 M1A3s and 6,000 troops were engaging the terrorists with increasing ferocity. This would hopefully be the last battle they would fight. It was really only the beginning... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dracon watched the attack on his bunker from the forests surrounding his base. He spoke into a radio and 1 of the 10 men on the mission told him that they were waiting for Minister Nike to leave the area around the Parliament. For some reason, their leader, the man whom Nike was speaking with, had told them not to kill off the Minister. Throden had ordered that his friend be around to "soften" up the other nations and to take over the Union when the take over was complete. The three canisters were deployed and the men quickly escaped the biological components of the Anthrax before it spread too far...
