I saw this and was interested in it. I will find a map of the world and people can then claim provinces that they will control. Any Ideas on who would do this or improvements???-I will work on getting a map too, unless someone wants to help me with that:) z.about.com/d/geography/1/0/1/L/europe.jpgThat is the link to the map I would Like to use:) 1) Your population is to be divided by a factor of 250. Should this lead you to having less than two million people, you may 'top up' your population to two million. Note, however, your population will not grow beyond this until your 'real' population (your NS population divided by 250) exceeds this. 2) The map is divided into provinces. For each two million people in your country, you may claim one province. 3) Claims are limited to Europe, until Europe is filled. 4) Godmodders and wankers may be ejected without notice 5) Realism is key, people willing to RP realistically are most welcome. 6) takes place within our own forums(srry for the confusion I copied this from the NS forums lol) 7) A factbook is necessary, when it comes to social, political, and economic as well as military information. 8) If Europe is filled, other continents, firstly Africa and Asia, will be opened up. 9) Technology will remain at 1914 level, and will only be changed at my discretion. 10) Europe 1914 is NOT Europe sociopolitically, ethnically, or in terms of cities and forts. Only geography and natural resources remain the same. You may place your cities, forts, towns and armies wherever you like.

My bad, I thought you wanted a map of Europe in 1914. On another note, I think we should break the larger countries up, or make them worth a higher amount of provinces.

yes...I actually like your map macarono!! That was the only map that I could fine that was blank of names and stuff. The part about breaking up the countries and things is exactly how we get the provinces. That is also what I may need help with since I can never get a map on the forums-one of our own map makers will hopefully help me *cough cough*!!! lol

Arent you lucky your Mod does a history degree? If you are going to do this then it would be best to do it exactly as it was, cities, forces etc and all. Mainly because it would be less of a headache for me. I'd like to do it though. Send me a PM SirMetz and we can discuss further. Would have to call England now though......

Maybe we should leave out the provinces and simply call a country...? I mean it would make everything abit less confusing... Maybe...

yea 250...just to figure out the population part. This thread is for advice on how to make this better...so feel free to add your two cents-I am a very very easy going guy and its hard to insult me But Rob....I don't care if we have real cities and what not, I just think it would be easier since this is not going to be a repeat of history-I wanted (had in mind) for this to be a thing fr others to do what they want with all of us in an all out war in Europe. Here is a link to 1914 technology...start thinking about it www.revision-notes.co.uk/revision/927.html(Rob -I am sure you could come up with a better site-feel free to do so) I would do just a country...but it depends on how many people do this-I want a lot of people before we start this-and starting it may take awhile-I want to make sure I/we have all of the kinks worked out. Please continue to offer advice. So far we have recommendations for... 1. Real Cities and Country names etc. 2. Each person Picks one country instead of the whole provinces deal (this is fine depending on the number of people that participate) 3. Which map shall we use??-macarono's or mine (see above posts for link) next time you post please offer your opinion on the above proposals so we can all agree on the final product TO ROB: Please PM me with what you wanted to do. I really dont care how this goes, but I dont know what you wanted to talk about but I do want to know what you want

I don't want to overcomplicate things, but if we do whole countries I think the larger ones should be worth more.

All I want right now is for people to state how they can make things better and answer the questions I had previously asked!!
I am still planning on dividing everything up into provinces...depending on how many people decide to participate in this.
Please answer questions 1,2,and 3 as well(number them too so I know which one ur talking about)

1. I believe real countries should be used, as we are doing a Europa-esque style rp. To make our own names would not only 'suck balls' to the greatest extent, but lessen the realistic factor of a WWI rp. 2. I'd prefer the whole 'picking of an entire nation' bit instead of dividing up provinces, just for practical reasons. In provinces, we'd have to work on the map for a much longer time... 3. Both maps look exactly the same.. With the exception of a greenish glob showing the Austria-Hungarian empire.. That said, I show interest as RPing either France or Germany, but I'll take whatever stance is convenience for all of us.
