The New rules/guidelines 1) Each Person participating will pick one country, not a province 2) Each Person will pick only one country. 3) Claims are limited to Europe, until Europe is filled. (Is it okay if we Open it up to the World??-Meaning that we RP how we want instead of doing what actually happened) 4) Godmodders and wankers may be ejected without notice 5) Realism is key, people willing to RP realistically are most welcome. 6) takes place within our own forums(srry for the confusion I copied this from the NS forums lol) 7) A factbook is necessary, when it comes to social, political, and economic as well as military information. 8) Technology will remain at 1914 level, and will only be changed at my discretion. (I can tell you now-It will not change ) 9) Europe 1914 will have the same cities and geography as it actually did. (Once again the issue of "ARe we RP'ing how we want or doing what actually happened??) So now point #5...please umber it agian for ease of veiwing your opinion 5. Will we RP and be Historically accurate....or will we RP how we want?? (I say how we want) Point 6....Are the rules so far okay??

I will start it eventually, but first we need a map...and secondly I want to know if people wanted to do this and be historically accurate, becuase I origginally wanted it to be for us to do whatever we wanted. Also, I think it would be best if we wait for everyone to be here befroe we start. Our forums arent going anywhere so why be in a rush whenm we can wait and make it that much better and fun to do!?!

The Ottomans were certainly around and so they are a valid option, if anyone is interested...

I would like the be Japan if that option opens up... And they were around in WWI, they just didn't really see the European front. But that could change right?

We should open up the world because it is a World War. I called Canada and they were a huge part of the War. They took Vimy Ridge which helped out a lot. However, I could take Serbia. They did shove the Austrio-Hungarians out...

I've visited Vimy Ridge, it's a big place... And still got active shells around the place... Very... Peaceful.

Ya. We learned all about it in History, how the Canadian soldiers pioneered the creeping artillery barrage. It was ingenious.

If I take the US and you take Canada we may have an American Front later on.

That's what I thought, we could really make it a world war, with a European/Atlantic and Pacific front.
And it might be ingenious but when you see the war cemetaries, it really makes you wonder who won. In some battles (I'm thinking of one of the Newfoundlanders battles in particular) the officers sent their troops right infront of the enemy machinegunners...

Ya I know what you mean the same holds true for WWII, the only reason why some battles were won were because the other side retreated, but it was not a true win. There is a name of a battle I believe in the American Revolution whose name is basically synonymous with heavy loss victories but it slips my mind. (Cornwallis lost the troops and the Southern Campaign was where the battle is)
