April 5th, 2006Our delegate, the Stabilizing Force of 1 Infinite Loop has now served the region for 555 days, and the East Pacific sits at 6130 nations. On a personal note, I hope all of you who were fortunate enough to have spring breaks over the last couple of weeks thoroughly enjoyed them! Emperor Matthuis, the last of the EP's Magisters for the upcoming term was elected March 29. All that remains is the election of the Consul. As always, I will keep you posted with the details. Hockey fans are delighted that the RP for the 4 th EPHC starts Thursday, April 13 th. The students from Shiro Academy are now visiting the capital of Dannistaan. Now that the war has ended, the Empress of East Malaysia has joined them in order to spend a short period of time with her son. The nation of Dovakhan, devastated by war not long ago, has shown the true spirit of its' people by opening its doors to foreign dignitaries for the grand opening of its new capital city. Free Pacific States (FPS) has decided to put the "Free" back into its name by finally taking a stand against the Packilvanian drones who effectively took control of the country during the conflict in East Malaysia. With over 1 million drones as citizens, the President has ordered all who took part arrested and deported causing massive civil uprising and interference by Packilvania itself. FPS has requested assistance from both its allies and the EPTO. Kandarin and FPS are writing another chapter for the EP history book in the thread "The Barricades". A fascinating look back in time at the creation of some of their most established characters. If you are so inclined, we'd enjoy having you visit our forum at invisionfree.com/forums/The_East_Pacific/index.php?and read some of the threads for yourselves. That's it for this week from the EP. As always, feel free to ask questions/make comments/etc. I will always be around to answer them. Take care. :waves:

April 13th, 2006Our delegate, 1 Infinite Loop, has been delegate to The East Pacific for 563 days. The East Pacific itself is now composed of 5649 nations. The newly elected Magisters have been meeting behind closed doors this week in order to elect a new Consul for the Magisterial Assembly. Polling by the Magisters is set to begin tomorrow and the polls will remain open until the 16 th, or until a majority has been reached. The first items of business on the Assembly's plate will be proposed amendments to both the Endorsement Restrictions Act, and the Role Play Legislation Act. The East Pacific's Embassy to The Pacific has been closed. One of our members, The Faeyas, opened a discussion thread on the jolt forums regarding the recent changes to NS. If you are interested in either reading or posting, the URL is: Moderator reaction was immediate. Role-PlayThe first two games in the 4th EPHC were played today, with Kelssek defeating Cooccoostan 3 - 1 in the 3rd period, and Xiopothos defeating FPS 3 - 2. The next week promises to be full of action for all of you hockey fans out there. Tomorrow sees Packilvania squaring off against Xiopothos, and FPS against Cooccoostan. For further game resullts, check out There is no doubt but that Packilvania is attempting to take over the FPS. The Pax have offered terms of a conditional surrender, which the FPS has turned down. The nations of Cooccoostan, Kelssek, Gnidrah, Kandarin, Kangarawa and the forces of the EPTO (East Pacific Treaty Organization) are all attempting to assist FPS. Anyone feel like any cybernetic enhancements? That's it for this week from TEP. Feel free to post any questions/comments/etc. and I'll get back to you with a response. If I don't know the answer, I'll find someone who does! Until next time, take care! :waves:

I would like to make a minor correction:
The East Pacific's embassy in the Pacific region was not closed; its ambassador was reassigned, and an announcement has been made, which specifies that the embassy will be without an ambassador, until further notice. However, the building will remain open, unless the Government of the Pacific so chooses to close it.

My thanks, Ambassador General. I very much enjoy what I do, particularly here in Hyrule.
And my apologies for misinterpreting what I read in the Embassy at The Pacific. Thank you for the clarification!

April 20th, 2006The Stabilizing Force of 1 Infinite Loop has successfully served the TEP for 570 days, and the region currently sits at 5534 nations. After much deliberation, and with three superb candidates for the position, the magisters elected Kelssek as Consul for the 3 rd Magisterial Assembly, the TEP's equivalent of Cabinet. At present, the Assembly is deliberating over amendments to the Role-Play Legislation Act, and the Endorsement Restriction Act behind closed doors. As before, an ample supply of bread and water are rumoured to be available. For all of you hockey fans out there, we're into the semi-finals. Packilvania has been taking a beating in penalty points, but what can you expect from a team whose coach says, "Go out there and kill them!". Problem is, no one believes that he was kidding... For more on the story, check out : The travelling students out of Shiro Academy are now touring the Government Buildings of Dannistaan, while back at the Academy, a new professor, an ex-pat of Kandarin, is becoming better acquainted with Matt Terrus Jr., son of President Matthew Terrus of the Free Pacific States (FPS). In a totally unexpected move, a breakaway rebel republic has claimed the continental portion of 1 Infinite Loop. The new "United States of Korea" has offered assistance to FPS in its battle against Packilvania. What next? Dovakhan is getting back on its feet after the brutal war earlier in the year. Dignitaries from various nations have arrived in the new capital, and are most impressed as the new city gears up for the celebrations. During the Dovakhanese war, the Xiopothans unleashed a horde of metroids (bugs) on Krechenstadt. The Kandarinese took genetic samples of both a metroid and a human female child and, with the help of a Kangarawan scientist, then working for a rogue faction of his government, created a transgenic organism, half human, half metroid. That thread, Angel of Death, which can be found at has spawned a new thread in which the Kandarinese are attempting to remove the Xiopothans from the East Pacific Treaty Organization with the help of both the true Kangarawan Government and some "outside" assistance. "The Rabbit Hole" makes for an interesting read. Well, that's it for this week from the TEP! As always, feel free to post any questions/comments/etc. and I'll do my best to answer them. Until next time, keep abreast of the TEP news by kicking off off your shoes, putting up your feet, and reading the East Pacific News Services. Take care! :waves:
