As the leaders of Hyrule took their seats in the halls of the Hyrule Central government President Bush made his way to the podium. Around him he could see the leaders of all sorts of nations and peoples, many of whom had spent the past year fighting with each other.
Then as the last of the leaders took their seats he opened the conference, "My fellow Hyruleans, I am glad to see you have come here. I have a fond hope that this conference will lead to greater peace and stability in our fragmented region.
"The past year has seen many comings and goings. Factions and nations have risen, then fallen back into obscurity. My own nation has just rid itself of the Fascist oppresion that we had suffered for many years, the French rose to power, only to fall away just as quickly and Communists have gained their standing in the world. Most worryingly of all this year has seen the deadliest of weapons deployed by international terrorists.
"In deploying nuclear weapons against innocent civilians the Al-Gedi network have shown themselves as in humane and inherently evil. They are a mennace that must be stopped, and are a greater threat than many have ever faced before. In attacking our way of life they do nothing but unite us behind a common cause. Former enemies are now allies, and together we stand strong against this threat, or face standing alone against an elusive and devious enemy.
"So I have called this conference to bring our nations closer together, to move on from the past and look to safe guard our future. So I open this conference and leave the floor open to our next speaker.
"Thank you very much"
President Bush sat down to a strong applause, clearly he had found a way of uniting these nations at last. "The war on terror is as good as official" he thought to himself.

The former and most famous Field Marshal of Porcu, who now was officially "Il Duce", sat watching the Conference on the PBC. Although Porcu was not represented in person their main news agency and one of Hyrule's most influential was.
Just the other day Il Duce had visited Syracuse to see how both Mussolini and Hess were enjoying their retirement. Both were in good spirits and Hess was happy to know he would spend the rest of his life in Syracuse. Il Duce had asked them what they thought of the new leader of Robengrad. Mussolini couldn't quite comment however he did state that "Bush seems to work for the greater good and although we here in Porcu are the last of the true Fascists I wouldn't let that get in the way of a potentially wonderful alliance." Additionally, Hess asked Il Duce to try and preserve the alliance between their two nations.
Sometime Il Duce would have to meet with this President Bush and see for himself...

Indrejue the Pharaoh of Piekrom got up to address the audience. "Now i am a little bit new to all of you for my nation has been in complete isolation for th past 1000 years. so this issue of terrorist is kind of new to me. we only reacently decided that we would try and renter the world as a whole. Having been in isolation we do not understand what is going on with these terrorist. can you give me some background on what are their beliefs who they are attacking and what is the nations that they are attacking doing in the regions of the world that the terrorist are from. the only way to ever defeat an enemy it to truly understand him to know if he really is an enemy.

Emperor Tojo went up to the podium to speak. "I agree that Al-Gedi is evil and must be stopped; however, we have not yet given a plan on how to stop this evil. Military will not work for there cannot be a war against an organization that can easily move and is not confined to the borders of one particular nation. And attacking a base nation will do nothing for they would move to form another base. Though we can attack a camp what will that do. Before we all agree to attack we should come up with a useful strategy first."
He sat back down to see the reply to the his statement.

The GS finally spoke. "There is something we can do. If you can kill the head of a snake, the body will follow. We must eliminate Dracon, the leader, before he can do anything else. We must find his lower men that are in charge to give away his position. His loyal commanders will not give him up, but maybe his sub-subordinates and sub-lieutenants will give him up. If we can kill Dracon, Al Gedi will not be much more than a headless snake, writhing in the sand, but, nevertheless, dying. If we can attack their camps in the former nation of Al Gedi, his lower-down, non-suicide bomber/non-fanatic followers may become detered to fight us. Also, we would need to hit his suppliers and financers. That is how we win."

You are all very superficial and no one has answered my question yet who exactly are these people how did they start up. what is their ideology why do they attack who are they attacking and what are the nations that are their targets doing in the region that this group belongs to. answer me these questions and then you can truly figuerout how to defeat your enemy. as you guys have said the group is disjointed to begin with so the death of a leader would hardly be enough.

"Maybe they left their manners in isolation as well" thought Bush as he stood once more,
"Ladies and Gentlemen, let us move on before we become too fixated on this topic. I feel that we also need to give trade in the region a much needed boost. Does anyone have any ideas as to how we can do this?"

President Metz stood and spoke,"Hello everyone! So you all know who I am, I am President Metz, president of Spaizil. In regards to trade, I feel that more borders need to be opened to everyone. My nation is now neutral with all nations in Hyrule, and will be accepting trade with anyone at this time. I feel that by closing borders to hinder other nations trade, also hinders yourself at the same time, but more importantly, damages Hyrule as well. If nations trade with more nations, instead of their own little power block, then more can be done in regards to trade and profit in all of Hyrule. Also, with the terrorist organizations. I do not know much about them Pharaoh, but I do know that they are nearly impossible to stop. My very own nation has its own guerrilla group of revolutionaries, that we constantly have problems with. The best way to slow them down, is to go for the leader. Without that, all of the organization is put on hold, until a new leader arises. Also, stopping their resources and supplies will only slow them as well. I fear that their presence will always be here in Hyrule. The most we can do is slow them down..."

"The solution is really simple," spoke Emperor Tojo as he stepped up to the podium. "My nation has a policy of free trade to all nations no matter what alliance they are a part of. If we all did this trade would have the boost it needs."

Indrejue then stepped up to the podium. "in regards to free trade that is all well and good amongst nations on an equal footing but when you have free trade with a nation that pays considerably less to it's employees you will eventually loose the strongest base to the economy. before my nation can possibly agree to open free trade one of the main things that must be established is an international standard to wages. we have indeed been in isolation but when we decided to open up trade with all you other nations one of our goals was to truly improve wage gaps between nations.

Emperor Tojo stepped up to the podium and spoke, "I can not agree to any price floor for wages. I have instilled an economy with little to no regulation, and I will not allow any standard of wages to my nation."

"Well Indrejue," Said President Metz, "No nation needs to have a standard of wages. That has little to no effect on your own nation. All you can do, is ensure that the nation is paying you the correct amount of money in your currency for the product being sold. From there, you do not own the product, and the nation who bought it, places a price on it and goes from there...unless I am misunderstanding something. I don't think a lesson on trade is needed here however. If more nations open trade, trade will flourish. All we can do from here, is hope that other nations will do the same. We should move on to something else ore important, instead of teaching others how to do trade. Indrejue, If you want nations to have a wage requirement, then you will have to speak to each nation individually, and now is not the time or the place to do so I'm afraid. one thing that worries me, is the slow destruction of the atmosphere. I feel that nations should not make requirement, but changes to ensure a longer lasting and more healthy Hyrule for our children. What could we do to improve this, if others feel the same way I do?"
President Metz then sat back down to look at his agenda. This was something that was important to him, and he was glad he managed to squeeze that into the conversation. He hoped it would go over well with the others...

well obviously each business is into making money if they can produce something cheaper someplace else they will. if you have no price floor you are very seseptable to a destruction of your society. other nations corps will lower the basic standerd of living in your nations because they will pay substandard wages. alway in the past it has happened even before we went into isolation that was happening. if you do not want to listen to history then that shall be your folly and we shall keep high tarifs in place to adjust for the wage gap. as far as pollution is concerned i encourage all of you to resort to hydrogen full cells nuclear power plants and water power our nation is fully devoted to such methods as well as a full scale recycling industry. all the unrecyclables carbon based products are burned for power with the smoke well filtered. if any of you need help converting or upgrading your power plants or recycling facility's we would be more than happy to provide the cheapest most effective methods for convesion

"For pollution we use nuclear power and such technologies in wind due to our mountainous area and coast wind energy is plentiful. We are developing other energies and trying to improve solar power and creating a fusion reactor. Though we do use gasoline we use electricity to power cars as well along with limited hydrogen power for cars." Emperor Tojo sat back down thinking of what will be up next in the conference after this.

Lucian then finally stood up. "As you all know, Protoa was once a Soviet Communist Nation powerful unto itself. While it worked for it's people when we were small and developing, our economy sagged. Most recently I have changed my government to a new, more efficient one.(ooc: Resembles Germany in WW1)Our Imperialistic government will be the success of Protoa. However, we need good, trustworthy trading partners. Clamparapa has always been the nation we have traded exclusively with, even more so now with our binding Central Powers alliance. But we need more than two to make a party, yes? I will gladly accept any nation that would like to trade with the United Reich of Protoa."
Lucian passed for a second for a glass of water.
"Right now, Protoa is attempting to make Fusion possible with the help of Helium-3 isotopes. That is successful soon, however we alone do not have the money or capablilities for the endeavor. Fusion is the only hope of humanity. It would produce everything from clean, reliable energy- to new forms of transportation. I beseech you all, please consider this new science that is developing."
