np UKFA Press Releases - Primary Group Stage, Match 5 of 6 An official press release from the UKFALeaked memo has UKFA officials in a bindAn internal memo leaked from UKFA Headquarters has caused consternation among UKFA and Union officials alike as both try to find and silence the source. The memo refers to the recent rumblings of discontent amongst Shawdom International bigwigs, who have publicly made their displeasure known of their team's, and specifically their manager's, recent performances. Dr. Mephisto and his assistant, a little guy named Kevin, have come under fire from a Shawdom board desperate for results. Mephisto moved from Costanzia Jon Voights in 2006 with a solid, but unspectacular track record behind him. With new manager Zinédine Zidane, the Jon Voights have gone from strength to strength, winning the UKFA Cup of Regions and scoring 23 goals in 5 games to date in the second UKFA Cup. In contrast, Shawdom have posted solid but less inspiring results. They too lead their respective UKFA Cup group, but their ambitious board are looking for performances as well as points in order to pull in the punters. However, it appears that the good Doctor may not be totally defenceless. The memo suggests that Mephisto is seeking the support of the UKFA Players' Union in the case that his rumoured contract termination becomes a reality. The details are unclear, but possible action could range from an industrial tribunal for constructive dismissal to a players' walkout across the UKFA. These revelations are an embarrassment both to the UKFA, who pride themselves on their professional (albeit drunken) reputation, and the Players' Union, who appear to be at odds with the UKFA over the issue. Indeed, any agitation against either Shawdom International, or the UKFA itself, is sure to be met with strong resistance from the Football Association. It remains to be seen as to what Shawdom's response, if any, will be; but what is sure is that the situation just became a lot more complicated. A Report from Shawdom International's FAShawdom qualifyFans of Shawdom International will be proud of their team and surpriseingly their manager. Although the team has had some massive critisim they have qualified in some style scoreing nine goals. 5 of those have come from riseing star Adam Le Fondre. The shawdom 19 year old was thrown into the team he has certainly done the job he was there for removeing other star liam Dickinson from the first team createing a great strike force Adam Proudlock and Le Fondre and new signing Anthony Elding from local team Bramhall north. things are looking good for the AFCS team and things could get better yet ... The manager of Shawdom has said that this season fierce reivls DMCD will not have the power to stay up and look forward to beating them at least twice this season. Thease comments surly will fuel the flames if the sides meet in the UKFA cup this season and he has not endeared himself to the DMCD fans ... The Shawdom FA would like to issue the following statement. We have heard of the rumour that the current team manager is activly seeking leagal advice over his sacking. We dont acturly know why he feels the need for this and we wish to say that we feel that the First team manager has shown total distrust in his board. We have never said that time has run out for him the fans have protested against him and we have considered his post before this tournerment. HOWEVER we have no reason to question our manager as we are doing well in the tournerment. We are holding an internal inquest into the matter. We hope that we find no wrong doings by Dr. Mephisto. We will also be looking for the UKFA to take action against the perpertratiors. It could be a number of sources it could be Costanzia Jon Voights or even the FA itself this will be a real test of the UKFA's power. I hope this will be a matter that does not affect our teams performances That is all Thank you Dave Hampson Shawdom FA Chairman A Report from AFC DMCD's FAAFC DMCD 2-0 Hekloslogravia ManateesDMCD Players celebrate in fron of fans after Stephen Stirks second goal of the game
Stephen Stirk scored twice as DMCD beat Hekloslogravia Manatees in the UKFA Cup group stage to take them second place in Group D. The visitors showed little form and remain on the bottom of group D. Hekloslogravia Manatees were jittery throughout a match that was completely bossed by DMCD. The hosts were rarely overawed by the 8-point gap between the two sides and the inventive Taros Marinos almost broke the deadlock inside 10 minutes when he forced Bayward into a leaping save from a curling effort. And it wasn't long before DMCDs early zest was rewarded when Stirk stroked home from the edge of the box. DMCD had their keeper to thank for keeping the score at 1-0 though when he denied Luke Gosling's bending effort with a magnificent finger-tip save. Hekloslogravia Manatees where soon undone again by Stirks second goal, A header from a great cross by Karl Taylor. Hekloslogravia Manatees first and only chance of the half fell to Stephen Pearson who, with his weaker right foot, mistimed his strike and saw his chance bobble through to Luke McCormick. Giles Barnes and Jon Macken were introduced at the break as Hekloslogravia Manatees looked for a way back into the contest. Macken breathed fresh life into the Hekloslogravia front line with two fierce left-foot strikes that were well saved by Nixon. But Hekloslogravia chances of clawing their way back into the tie were effectively ended when Moore collected a deserved two bookings in quick succession. DMCD boss Patrick Oshea seemd very pleased with his players performance but was annoyed by comments made by Shawdom shortly before the game, he said "We have played brilliantly today and im very very proud of our players. They have shown me that they can play well and work together well. I am not happy with Shawdom and we shall see how wrong they are when next season arrives. That will be a derby il be looking forward to." Minor Updates from around the UKFAJOOLSDOM FOREST The GMPV continues to flow at Ibrox, the badger's home ground after another win takes them 5 pts clear of nearest rival Wulgarian Union. A Badger Sports spokeman is quoted as saying "this is fantastic news for our home team and our company, we're very pleased with the coverage our label is getting so far and hope to see Badger Sports becoming as big a name internationally as it is in the home maket." Nobody from Forest was sober enough for comment on the match, we hope to have some form of statement from the club as soon as someone sobers up. UKFA HQ

UKFA Press Releases - Primary Group Stage, Match 6 of 6 An official press release from the UKFAUKFA Preps Hasty ApologyThe United Kingdom Football Association has indicated this morning that it intends to host a 'Gentlemen's Night Out' as a means to apologise to Shawdom International officials over the now notorious 'Mephisto-gate' incident. The PR set-piece is being organised by one of the UKFA's chief commercial partners, GM Potato Vodka Distilleries. It comes in the wake of a private apology issued by the Chairman of the UKFA, in which he is believed to have apologised for the fact that the memo was leaked. However, he has indicated that he has not apologised for the actual content of the memo. "That memo was never meant to be released to the public. We have system here at UKFA Headquarters. I have two big rubber stamps on my desk, and I definitely remember using the 'INTERNAL ONLY' stamp. At least, i'm pretty sure I did ... it was a pretty rough night. "Anyway, the point is that the memo was intended as a means of keeping all our high-level officials apprised of the situation over at Shawdom International. Therefore, I have apologised for the fact that an internal memo was intentionally leaked by someone from inside our organisation, but I do not feel in a position to apologise for the content. "As for the way this incident has been handled - we feel we have no reason to be disappointed with our handling of this matter. It has happened, and we are doing our best to mitigate it. That being said, one could raise questions as to some comments made by Shawdom officials, all in the heat of the moment I am sure. "After a few drinks with us, and maybe the odd scrap in the UKFA vodka garden, i'm sure we will all be the best of friends again." A Report from Shawdom International's FASHAWDOM FANS CELEBRATE AS BOARD PREPARE TO BATTLE WITH THE FA AND PLAYERS UNION.In what could be a huge change in the way the UKFA works the team in the centre of the controversy Shawdom International Dr. Mephisto. sent ot a strong message that the battling will be left to the board and will not affect the team. It was defonately the A team today as Anthony Elding scored on his debut on 10 minutes. then the new darling of the Shawdom fans Adam Le Fondre scored on 20 minutes the first of two. The third came minutes before half time scored once again by wonder kid Adam Le Fondre. The second half kicked off and the home support cheered as the host clawed one back. Adam Proudlock completed the rout and slotted home the 4th as Shawdom showed they are becoming a real force in this compertition. Fans eagerly await the second group phase and the posibility for a derby against DMCD or long distance rivals Costanzia Jon Voights who have also looked a strong tip to win it this season. The DR was unavailable to comment as he has gone to the EGM held at the club. But his Assistant Kevin had this to say. "This is a great day for Shawdom and I hope that the fans dont think we will be affected by the happenings at the FA today. However I ask you on behalf of the FA to stand up and be counted if things go further than words" When asked who he wanted in the Second round he simply said " Anyone who we can beat and DMCD for the fans." A Report from Pacifist Cowards' FACowards everywhere were "disgusted" and "appalled" with their draw against group minnows the Manatees. The situation was made worse when DMCD could only manage a draw, meaning the Cowards could have gone two points clear at the top of the group. Many blame Mangager Sashov for fielding a weakened side, but even so a victory was to be expected. As it was, the Wanderers were forced to rely on a 67th minute equaliser from substitute Witheringspoon, and never looked like being capable of finishing off a spirited Manatee side. No Coward was available for comment this morning, but it is known Sashov launched a relentless 3 hour tirade against his players. The Cowards are still favourites to top the group however. A Report from Costanzia's FADisbelief Among the FaithfulShock and awe have gripped the Jon Voight Faithful as Atletico Mittsville has pulled off a stunning upset of the leader of Group C, and some think a favorite to win the cup. After breezing through a second match against RTI, in which DaVola posted another shut out, Costanzia had their hands full with a resilient Mittsville team. "Oh we were definitely caught off guard here," says striker and team leading goal scorer Bob Sacamano. "We did not come ready to play today. I think we were resting on our laurels a bit and they took us by surprise. We can't do that if we are going to be serious about winning this tournament. Nobody is going to lay down for us." Costanzia has emerged as an early favorite to win the tournament, and is leading all teams in goals scored with 26. However, Mittsville's stout defense proved too much for CJV to crack, and shut out the Jon Voights for the first time since last fall. Zénadine Zidane had this to say during a post-game interview. "Am I glad that we lost? What the !@#$ kind of question is that? No I'm not glad we lost. I want to win every game. Who doesn't want to win every game? Nobody aspires to be the only team with one loss! They want to be UNDEFEATED. You people are retarded. I just hope we don't make this same mistake again. There are too many good teams in this tournament for us to be sitting around with our thumbs up our butts." Shortly after his remarks the UKFA stated that it would be fining Zidane the equivalent of 10,000 poisoned envelopes for using profanity at the post-game press conference. In other news, CFA officials have been asked to comment on the recent news stories regarding former (first) team manager Dr. Mephisto. "The good doctor was a fine manager. However, we feel that the method he employed for our team, which at the time was a team full of clones of Jon Voight (hence the team name) dressed in full tuxedos, was not where we wanted to go. We went our separate ways amicably. While his results early on with Shawdom were...less than spectacular...it appears he's got his players moving in the right direction. They are currently the tops in their group. We don't see what the big fuss is about, and we hope that all of this blows over quickly. Nothing silences critics more than winning." A Report from Atletico Mittsville's FAAtletico Mittsville 1-0 Costanzia Jon VoightsIt was a historic occasion yesterday, as Atletico Mittsville pulled of an exiting win against group leaders Costanzia Jon Voights. On their home turf of Mill Park, Atletico shut out the cups leading strike force in a 1-0 win, with the only goal coming early in the second half. Mittsville came into this came knowing that a win would ensure that they retained second place above Random Textbox Inputs. In the other match in the group RTI drew with PGrier Pumas, from Uroca, the same region as Mittsville. Manager Andy Gordon said after the match: "This was a great win for Mittsville, and i'm sure the whole of Uroca will support us in the next stage. As it turned out, we didn't need a win to advance, but this experience of defeating such a well respected team as Costanzia has really improved the squads morale. We showed we are a hard team to beat and we are still hopeful of going all the way." The final matches in this group phase leave Atletico 2nd in the group on 11 points from 6 games. A spokesman from the MFA said of this "In Atletico's first UKFA cup, is is very pleasing to see such a good record. We hope we can continue our good form in the coming matches." A Report from AFC DMCD's FAStadium DevelopmentThe Priestfield Stadium used for football in DMCD is to be expanded to more than 40,000 seats. Planning permission was granted on Wednesday for AFC DMCDs plans to expand the Stadium by redeveloping the East and West Stands. The city council imposed some conditions on the plans including one stating that bars in the new stand must close at 11:30pm. Around 600 residents had complained in writing about the proposals. Fitness suite Paul Mac, DMCD Chairman, said: "We are very pleased to have got planning permission. "Some conditions have been imposed, and we need to review them with our professional team." The new stands will take the stadium to around 42,000 seats, and will include "Conference and Educational suites, Extra dressing rooms as well as office space for outside companies to rent or buy and many other fabulous facilities to complement what we already have. This increase in capacity is part of a wider vision for the stadium. We will be using the stadium for concerts, rugby, athletics and cricket after the renovations so this will indeed make it a world class stadia." After development, the stadium will have a Uefa 5 Star rating and will be applying for a UKFA 5 star rating enabling it to host cup finals and inter regional matches. UKFA HQ

UKFA Press Releases - Secondary Group Stage, Match 3 of 6 A Report from Costanzia's FACJV Still Looking SolidThe second stage of Group play in the UKFA Cup has gotten underway and Costanzia is still looking like a contender....with some work to do however. In the first match of six, CJV easily handled the attack of Wulgaria, jumping out to a 2-nil lead, and only allowing the Worker's goal to squeak by in the closing minutes of the match. A nice rebound from their shocking defeat against Atletico Mittsville in the previous round. The next match pitted the CoR champs against fellow UKFA Top 10 team, the venerable Postboxes FC. In the past Costanzia has always had trouble Postboxes, as they are one of the oldest and most respected teams in the league. This seems to be a down season for Postboxes however as they were blasted out of the stadium 5-1 by the potent JV attack, lead by team points leader Bob Sacamano. The last match was between the two teams in group A3 that hadn't suffered a loss yet. Costanzia and the Cowardly Wanderers came in tied for the group lead and both looked to take sole posession of first. It was a hard fought match and both teams left a lot out on the field. The Wanderers were able to strike first and looked to be in cruise control as their defense was holding up quite well against the sometimes explosive JV offense. It looked as if Costanzia was going to suffer another blow and tarnish their hopes for winning the tournament when the refs took the game into their own hands. In what was a questionable call at best, Bob Sacamano was allowed to take a penalty shot in the closing minutes of the match. Finding the net, the game was tied at one a piece, and both teams had to settle for a tie atop the group in points, with Costanzia taking the lead by goal differential. Wanderers fans were outraged by the call and many felt as though they were robbed and the refs were favoring the favored team and gave them a break. There have been no official comments from any CJV fans or the Costanzian Football Association. However, rumors are starting to circulate that call is going to be reviewed by UKFA officials, and action may be taken against the referee if necessary. A Report from Brightonburg's FA"Hello, this is Amanda Rush RBNN Palace report, subbing for Erica Stone who has tonight off, and I bring you, Brightonburg United FC's coach,Mr.Jeorg Miller-White. " Greetings, once again I will be brief we lost 1-3 to Random Textbox Inputs FC, we played well, however, our defence, our key to our success lasped, and Random Textbox Inputs FC beat us, I offer no excuses,we were beat by a better side. We will take what we have learned and carry on, tis only proper, I also to not rule out personall changes, with our own league now in season, no mans job is safe, poor play, will get a lad sent home, word is bond." UKFA Press Releases - Secondary Group Stage, Match 4 of 6 A Report from Costanzia's FAJon Voights Stumble AgainThe second round of group play has left many of the JV faithful doubting their team. Costanzia notched itself another inauspicious tie in their most recent match, this time against group bottom feeder Wulgaria. After a thorough thumping of the team in their first matchup, Costanzia had trouble figuring out the Worker's schematics. Every time CJV made a move Wulgaria was right there. Everything Zidane tried to do on the field, Wulgaria answered right back. the 2-2 draw is the most goals scored by Wulgaria in this round, as well as the most allowed by Costanzia. "Its not that we didn't play sharp today, I think we played a decent game. But Wulgaria really had us figured out. They developed a really good game plan. We weren't going to take these guys lightly, and they came out like they had something to prove today. They aren't going to the second round, but they aren't going to be pushovers either." It wasn't all bad though as they still managed to get a point, and solidify first in the group, after Postboxes FC made its case for advancement with a win over the Cowardly Wanderers. Just two points separates them from group leader Costanzia, as the two teams look to square off in their next match. In other news, UKFA officials have uncovered some large sums of money that have found their way into the bank account of the embattled referee from Cozzie's last match against the Cowardly Wanderers. Unnamed sources have leaked that their may be a payola scandal involving Marco Scutaro, the ref who made that controversial call. CWFA and CFA officials alike are clamoring for his immediate suspension. As of now we are still waiting for an official word from the UKFA chairmen. An official press release from the UKFAUKFA moves to try to quieten rumour millThe United Kingdom Football Association this evening has finally taken steps to try to quash rumours that the UKFA Official who took charge of the tightly contested second-round fixture between Costanzia Jon Voights and Cowardly Wanderers had been bought by the home side. The controversy centres around a penalty awarded to the Jon Voights in the closing minutes of the match. Costanzia's Bob Sacamano had no problems converting the opportunity which eventually led to his side salvaging an unlikely point to help keep them top of Group A3. However Cowardly Wanderers' fans and staff have hotly contested the validity of the penalty, and so have, interestingly, their counterparts at Costanzia Jon Voights, though less publicly. "If the Jon Voights didn't think it was a penalty, then why did they bother to score from it?" huffed Marco Scutaro, the referee at the centre of the affair. "They could have chosen to miss. "Anyway, I only called for a penalty because I believed it was a penalty. There was contact and the guy went down. My assistant was unsighted by the group of players, but I felt able to give the decision without the confirmation of a second opinion." "Fair enough", say the UKFA. Case closed it would seem, as it is not usually UKFA policy to interfere in or comment on individual decisions, even ones which affect the outcome of a match as obviously as this one has. Indeed, usually the only situation in which a referee's decision in a game can be overruled by the UKFA is where a player is given a straight red card, and even then there is an appeals process which usually demands video evidence that the referee's decision was incorrect. Even so, an adjustment in a game's final score would be unprecedented. But none of this takes into account the infinitely more disturbing rumours that referee Scutaro actually accepted money from the Jon Voights, or agents linked to Costanzia. It is a poorly-kept secret that there is ample opportunity for a host team to 'influence' the appointed officials, be it with the customary stadium visits, tours of nearby cities and even 'shopping' trips, where of course the officials' bank balances are not troubled. Such an obvious breach of trust that accepting monetary bribes represents however would be looked upon very dimly by the UKFA, which seems to be rocking from one scandal to another. Indeed, the timing of this incident has been remarked upon in private at the UKFA, as committees look to draw up shortlists of the officiating teams who have performed the best so far, with a view to selecting possible teams for the knockout stages, and indeed the final itself. Internal competition between refereeing teams is extremely healthy, and national rivalries are maintained since each team is made up of four officials who share a common national Citizenship. Some more cynical commentators are wondering aloud as to whether the nationality of Scutaro and his team and his reportedly decent chance of officiating in the Final is the real cause of the controversy in this case. A Report from Brightonburg's FAHello this is Hanna Black, Royal Brightonburg news network, filling in for Capt. Erica Stone, who is on assignment,I bring you, Brightonburg United FC's coach,Mr.Jeorg Miller-White. " Greetings, once again I will be brief, The King himself phoned me about the Green Academicals 0-8 Brightonburg United victory, and told me he was pleased with the national teams international play, and who am I do disagree with the king? Brightonburg United is not known for offencive play. But like in most things in life, the ball bounced our way,and our side put in a full 90 minutes of good solid football,I think all around, we did a good job, and hope we continue doing so. A Report from AFC DMCD's FATaros Marina celebrates his cracking goalDMCD scored a stunning 1-0 win over Joolsdom to take them to joint to of there group in the UKFA Cup. A cracking late strike by Taros Marinas sealed the win after DMCD fought hard throughout. Jubilant fans celebrated the win which keeps the cup hope alive and reinforces Patrick Osheas position as manager. Speaking about the win the manager said "this was a team effort, I brought on Taros in about the 60th minute to add a bit of spice to the attack and it payed off. This has been a good day but i want to see more from the team. The supporters are amazing and id like to thank them for their continued support" In other news DMCD have secured a new deal with Irish bookmakers Boylesports to be the club's official sponsor for the next two years after the end of this season. Boylesports will bring in key financial support and provide a major boost for the club as it moves forward. "We are all absolutely thrilled to be joining forces with Boylesports bookmakers to drive the club forward in the next four years, which we think will be exciting times," said Paul Mac, DMCD's chairman. "It is fantastic that Boylesports have taken this leap of faith to support us and made a commitment to invest in our future as we continue our efforts to re-ignite the club. The backing from Boylesports will give us a great platform to achieve our goals and attempt to increase our brand footprint and awareness - it's a great fit DMCD have been forced to find a new sponsor since ex sponsor GNER/Sea Cat went into financial diffculties. Boylesports will now sponsor the teams Goalkeepers kit and 3rd kit. The deal with Hilton Hotels and Royal Doulton is still intact and indeed stronger than ever. UKFA HQ

UKFA Press Releases - Secondary Group Stage, Match 5 of 6 A Report from AFC DMCD's FASRP Utd 1-6 AFC DMCDStephen Stirk celebrates his second goalOshea after the gameDMCD are top of group A4 today as Stephen Stirks hat-trick powered the side to victory. Stirks close-range finish put DMCD ahead, while Michael Richardson made it 2-0 with a penalty, before Jordan Sleuber got a third with a clever individual effort. DMCD added a fourth before the break when Stirk scored with a superbly executed left-footed flick. A powerful shot and an incisive finish sealed Stirks' hat-trick, while Josef Leninov swept home the sixth. The SRP goalkeeper briefly stemmed the DMCD onslaught, turnin Karl Taylors header over the bar and bravely coming out to claim a Sleuber cross. But SRP did respond late on with a fantstic goal in the top corner. Truely a world class strike. After the game Patrick Oshea was very pleased "This is what i want to see week in week out, not a high scoring game perhaps but the determination and belief. We worked together well and passed the ball very nicely. It was a clean game with lots of skill on both sides. We need to focus now and not get carried away. Lets not throw it away. The lads can have a drink on me though." An official press release from Racing Club de Betelgeuse XII's FACAT5 Rues Missed OpportunityRacing Club de Betelgeuse XII manager CAT5 has publically berated his side in the wake of their 2-1 defeat at Group A2 rivals Shawdom International. "It was all set up for us", fumed CAT5. "One last push at Shawdom, and we would have been guaranteed the top spot in our Group and a favourable draw in the Quarter Finals. We would have been able to rest key players in our final group game, which would have given us a tangible advantage going into the knockout stages. "As it is, we now need a point in our last game to seal our qualification. I see a win as being imperative, however. We have to win this group." CAT5' ire may well be justified. Of the other teams in the top half of the competition and thus still in with a chance of qualifying for the Cup's knockout stages (i.e. the 'A' groups), only the Eagmont Eggplants are assured of top spot in their group. Every other team has something to play for, and a day off from the final group game would have been welcomed enthousiastically by Racing Club's stars. CAT5' main concern however, and doubtless that of Racing Club's fans, will be their team's opponents in the next round. Whilst they have performed admirably the be within touching distance of winning what is probably the toughest group in the competition against two other well-performing UKFA Top 10 teams, their greatest challenge may well lie ahead of them. Since AFC DMCD have wrapped up Group A4 in all but name (Some Random People United would have to surmount a goal difference of 11 in their final match to beat DMCD to the top spot), they will almost certainly be playing the second placed team in Group A2 in the Quarter Finals. This suited many neutral fans going into the weekend as it would have pitted DMCD against arch-rivals Shawdom International, a matchup which no doubt would have been intensified by the recent intrigue surrounding the two clubs. However with Racing Club's loss to Shawdom, they now find themselves in the unenviable position of likely opponents for AFC DMCD in the next round - arguably an even more compelling matchup with many backing DMCD as a potential dark horse for the Championship itself. As such, Racing Club fans will be looking to Peace and Democracy United to do them a favour in their final game so that Racing Club can escape up the table and into the relative safety of a next-round fixture against Some Random People United, Atletico Mittsville or even their old adversaries Joolsdom Forest. An official press release from Atletico Mittsville's FAMittsville climb to third as group A4 hots upMittsville International NewsThe second qualification position of Group A4 was thrown wide open yesterday, as Atletico Mittsville edged past Joolsdom Forest 1-0 to put themselves in contention for the all important second qualification position. Mittsville's second win in the group put them on 6 points; one behind Some Random People United who currently occupy second place in the league. The set of results means that, with DMCD almost certain to top the group, the three other teams all have the chance of getting second place next week. For Mittsville to go up, they would need a win at AFC DMCD, while hoping that SRP fail to win. Altetico Mittsville's game yesterday was an edgy affair, with both sides looking nervous. However the game was decided late on in the first half, with a well taken goal by Mittsville's right winger, James Grant. Manager, Andy Gordon, said after the game that he hopes the team can build confidence after two wins in a row. "After three losses in our first three games, not many people believed we would qualify for the next stage. However, we went away during the break and came back without the pressure and expectations we had before. Now, we are playing without fear and it's really exiting." The final match of the group is at AFC DMCD, where mittsville will need to pick up some points. We at MIN hope that they can still go all the way to the final. An official press release from the UKFAThere's a hole in my bucket : Mystery mole strikes againHeadlines across the nation of Betelgeuse XII, and indeed much of the United Kingdom and beyond, have been dominated by the news that the UKFA's now infamous mole may well have struck again by revealing that Shawdom International want to recruit Patrick O'Shea, manager of rival outfit AFC DMCD. In what UKFA Officials are characterising as an 'International press conspiracy', the news networks were saturated with the story even before many UKFA Officials had been informed, making tracing the story impossible and leaving many to believe that the media is sticking together to protect its sources. As such, it is impossible to say with any degree of confidence whether the leak has come from the UKFA, or indeed from within either of the two clubs concerned. In the interests of sensationalism however, subeditors are having a field day thinking of new and hilarious headlines referencing the previous UKFA leak. According to the reports, the approach was made by Shawdom through official channels, and as such UKFA Officials are happy to allow the story to play out. They are, however, irritated at the way the media is choosing to portray the story as another security breach, when this has not been proven and possibly never will be. What is also unknown is DMCD's response to this approach, if indeed they have made one. Whatever happens next is sure only to increase the temperature further as the UKFA Cup moves into the knockout stages. UKFA HQ
