UKFA Press Releases - Round 11 A guest report from DMCD's FAO'Shea Gets His ManLeninov puts pen to paper at a specially organised press conferenceAFC DMCD were thrilled today as Josef Leninov, formally a Cowardly Wanderer, signed a four year deal at the club. The left back has been a prominent target for the first division team and manager Patrick O'Shea expressed how delighted he was today: "I've been looking at this guy for quite a while and I feel he is a star of the future. He's a young lad but I think he could become one of the greats". AFC have paid Cowardly Wanderers £750,000 for the player - a steep price for any Division Two player, but still a bargain in many people's opinion given Leninov's potential. It is expected the new boy will make his debut on Saturday at away at Lisburn Exiles, but O'Shea insists he will not be overused in first team play: "This kid is only young and too much play as well as too little can spoil a player of his age. We have a lot of cover at that position so we don't need to overuse him. He is a long term project and a player I am looking forward to working with." A report from the UKFA, in association with the Lisburn Mateys FAExiles' Manager: "We're Giving Away Too Many Soft Points"Lisburn Exiles' rookie manager Jonny McJovi has admitted to restless fans that his team needs to sharpen up if they are to have any chance of fulfilling expectations this season. The Exiles are currently adrift of the top team in Division One, the Posulian Puffins, by six points and are sitting in eighth place. The team was expected to challenge for honours this season. In particular, McJovi criticised his team's habit of throwing away three points and succumbing to draws - the Exiles have drawn four so far and have won only the one game. "The team are giving away too many soft draws - we need to learn how to kill a team off and hold a lead." McJovi went on to say "It's ok playing nicely and passing well but that doesn't always get you goals. I think I may need to look at some tactical decisions I have made and perhaps change some training methods to accomodate for this". So are we going to see more route one football from the Exiles? Fans are divided as to whether they would welcome long-ball football at New Bloomfield Park. The purists want to see even more fluid passing football, but it is quite possible that the majority of fans would forgive ugly tactics if the league table makes attractive reading at the end of the season. A report from the UKFAEggplants Suffer First DefeatThe Eagmont Eggplants lost their first game yesterday as they went down 2-1 away to Arrithoria. The Eggplants have made a dream start to the season after they won all six of their games, a league record start. The previous record was four wins at the beginning of the season, a record set by Racing Club de Betelgeuse XII at the start of the first season of the UKFA Premier League. In spite of this record-breaking start, the Eggplants' manager is shying away from speaking to the press. It is unclear how this will affect his players' morale, many of whom may feel that they have earned a public show of appreciation from their manager. At the other end of the table, the Green Academicals have now failed to win their first seven games in the UKFA Premier League. The previous record was five games without a win, set jointly by the Green Academicals and Costanzia Jon Voights in the first season of the UKFA Premier League. However the Academicals turned it around in that season after their terrible start, and eventually finished as runners up to Racing Club. It remains to be seen however if they can do the same in this season, but all the teams that have struggled so far this season can take heart from the example the Academicals set last season. A guest report from Pacifist Cowards' FA in association with the UKFASashov Dabbles in the Transfer MarketUnconfirmed reports in today's Cowardly media indicate that Cowardly manager Yuri Sashov has approached ailing Rawhon United with an offer for their defensive midfielder/defender Snake, and have offered a loan deal for central defender Mirtis. They are said to be offering a young hopeful - central defender/defensive midfielder Boris Gudenov - on loan, as he needs match experience to develop, which he's not getting in the packed midfield of the Wanderers. It is understood Rawhon manager Burke is taking his time over the decision, as this could make or break his team just as they seemed to be shaking off their losing ways. However, it remains to be seen as to how Wanderers' offering Gudenov would fit into Rawhon's Division One team if he cannot even hold down a place in the Wanderers' Division Two squad. Yuri Sashov was unavailable for comment, although he did state he was curious how the "bloddy press got into my flippin' inbox, the prying b*stards". UKFA HQ

UKFA Press Releases - Round 12 A report from Joolsdom's FA, in association with the UKFAForest in Matchfixing DisgraceJoolsdom Forest fans this morning discovered the reason for their team's recent terrible form, but it wasn't one they were expecting. Forest manager Alex Meles and star striker Franz Dachs have both been suspended indefinitely by the UKFA amid allegations of match rigging. It is believed that a fact-gathering operation has been underway for the past few weeks, which was sparked by an uncharacteristic drop in form on the part of Forest. Fans and pundits had thought an extended UKFA Cup hangover may have been the cause, Forest of course having run out champions after beating Racing Club de Betelgeuse XII in the final. The actual cause though may have serious repercussions for the game and for Forest. Main sponsors GMPV have yet to respond to the allegations, but they are unlikely to react favourably since they themselves have struggled to maintain a good reputation in the wake of mounting controversy as the wildly popular arcoholic drink was linked to a steady escalation of fan violence during the UKFA Cup. The final straw for investigators is sure to have been Joolsdom's 7-1 drubbing in the UKFA Cup of Regions at the hands of Bentay Ballers, a UKFA record defeat. It would seem that, in a delicious twist of irony, Forest became so good at losing that they lost the knack required to throw a game convincingly. Updates to the situation will be transmitted as soon as they are received. A report from the UKFAEagmont Manager: "My boys done good"Eagmont Eggplants manager Luke MacAllister today finally spoke of his team's spectacular winning streak: "Ladies and Gentelmen, Club Members, Media, it has been a very special start to the season for the team. An unprecedented 6/6 winning streak has boosted the morale of the team. I could not be more proud of my team, and my players. In fact, OUR players. The team has performed remarkably well, and I am so proud of each and every one of you. "Our rotation-based squad system has meant that many of our stronger players have played in positions where our opponents' veteran players have played, giving our younger players a good chance at getting into the games. I can assure you that team morale is high, and that the last loss was just a one off-bad performance, due to a bout of flu going around. We at the Eggplants have always strived for excellence: our training routines are grueling but fair, giving players one day of hard training, then two days off, etc. It gives them time to do individual work on their areas of concern, before coming back fresher than ever." When asked about next season, and If he was excited about the prospect of playing in Division One, he said: "I'm thrilled the team has wanted this. I think the results speak for themselves. Watch out Div 1, we are ready for you!" MacAllister will be deciding his team for the Eggplants' crunch match against Cowardly Wanderers in the next few hours. UKFA HQ

UKFA Press Releases - Round 13 A report from the Costanzia Sports Network, in association with the UKFAForest Lays Smackdown on the Jon JonsCostanzia Sports NetworkWhat had been turning out to be a very positive run of matches for the Costanzia Jon Voights in both UKFA League play as well as Cup of Regions play was suddenly and drastically halted by perennial powerhouse Joolsdom Forest. The Joolsdom attack was relentless, posting 4 goals during the match. Sacamano managed to notch a mostly meaningless goal towards the end of the second half, but that merely kept the JV goal difference at zero overall and had little significance other than furthering his own cause for player of the year. Manager Zénadine Zidane had this to say at a post match press conference: "DAMN!! Those badgers are scary!" in reference to the notoriously rabid (literally, most of them have rabies) legions of Badgers that live and die on their team's performance. "Those crazy badgers scared the crap out of my players. I think they were afraid to win. Badgers have pointy teeth... I wouldn't want to be bitten by one." Zidane was later bitten by a badger after the conference. This match came on the heels of a Joolsdom Forest match fixing scandal as both manager Alex Meles and Franz Drachs were suspended for possible involvment. Keeper Maarten Tekkel for Joolsdom said that this season has been very tough on the team, and this scandal had only made things worse. Forest got hungry and really wanted this one against a JV team that had started the season off slowly, but had been improving as of late. Things weren't all bad for JV Nation however as earlier in the week the team notched a stunning 3-0 victory over Premier bottom feeders Green Academicals. Crazy Joe DaVola had, until the last match, been stunning in the net. Sacamano had two assists setting up J. Peterman and Newman on two seperate occasions. Once a 2-0 was achieved in the second half, Sacamano was rested, with concern still over his ailing right knee. In Cup of Regions action this week, Costanzia remained undefeated in Group Play, this time with a 2-1 victory over Imperfectia Fieldmice. The contest was not as close as it appeared however, as the JV defense was on its toes for most of the match, failling only in stoppage time and allowing the Fieldmice to score. Star striker Bob Sacamano sat out this contest to rest his knee, and The Soup Nazi filled in for him. "The knee can be bothersome at times, and I don't want to aggrevate the injury, but I'm not injured to the point where I can't play." Team trainers recommended giving Sacamano the day off. Costanzia will look to bounce back in their next UKFA match on Tuesday against a very good P&D team that has historically given them trouble in the past. No official word yet on Sacamano's availability for the game, but with almost every game becoming close to must win situations fo avoid relegation, it is assumed Sacamano will be at least available off the bench. A report from the Brightonburg FA, in association with the UKFABrightonburg manager strengthens squadCoach Sir Georg White-Miller coach of the team speaks to the press corps: "Greetings to everybody. I am afraid that I will have to be brief. I am very busy with the team, as you all know. "His Imperial Majisty is very pleased that we are in 6th place in the Premier League, and has expressed his desire that Brightonburg United continue playing to the best of their ability. "At the beginning of the season, our goal in all honesty was simply to avoid relegtion. However, with the start that we have made, and of course the fantastic squad at my disposal, I am setting my sights on breaking into the top three. To achieve this goal, we have signed a new midfielder from the Janosburg Argonauts of the the Brightonburg football league: Fredrich Clearpoole, a 6 ft. 3 in. 212 pounder, for cash and a player to be named later. "He was their best midfielder, but the Argonauts are rooted to the bottom of our domestic league. United are having a better season both home and away, but there will always be places we can improve, and I think in signing this player we have made The Big Sky Blue a better team, one that can fight it out with the big boys." A report from the Farstran FA, in association with the UKFAToo Many DrawsYesterday Chris Whyte, manager of the Farstran Silverfoxes, blamed the abundance of drawn games on an inability of Farstra to score goals. What a manager - he figured out all by himself that to win games you have to score goals! The 1-1 draw against the Atlantic Red Wolves was at least a good one, with Farstra earning a point from the top-placed side, but out of the eight points Farstra has, only three points were earned from having won a game. "This is not good enough," declared Whyte. "We have at times played good football, but not for long enough periods. The forwards don't get enough of the ball and the midfield seem to like passing amongst themselves, and not anyone else on the team. Do they think I am going to give them a bonus for hogging all the posession? "If we can draw against the Red Wolves, then we can win our next fixture against Devons Island Bristol Rovers FC. If results go our way we could even climb to 7th! "Come on you Farstra!" A report from Pacifist Cowards' FA, in association with the UKFAEagmont Eggplants 3-1 Cowardly WanderersCowardly manager Yuri Sashov is reportedly furious with his players, after they conceded a 87th minute penalty and threw away an excellent and stoic show of defending. The Eggplants opened the scoring after just 30 minutes, and a whitewash was expected, but the Cowards closed ranks, and a mistake in midfield allowed Kiki Novov to run straight through the middle and hit a screamer measured at 33 yards. The rest of the match was an exciting affair, with end to end football lasting the rest of the match, although heroic keeping and defending meant the score remained the same. Unfortunately, Ivanov brought down Stevens in a reckless tackle as he ran at goal, and got himself sent off, as well as the forward in a stretcher. The resulting penalty was neatly slotted home by the Eggplants, seeing the Cowards slip to 4th in the table. Sashov has now vowed to run early morning training every day, until this recent dip in form has been averted, and is now redoubling his efforts to find a centre back, with the Eggplants' own Henry Baker a possibility. A report from Eagmont's FA, in association with the UKFAStop Press - Baker Offered ChangeThe Eagmont Board today received an offer on star defender Henry Baker, moments after the win against Cowardly Wanderers (3-1). The Board is not willing to announce who the offer was made by, despite the Wanderers' public announcement, but it was suggested the funding could make a nice little lump in the bank. Eagmonts Manager, Luke MacAllister, said just after the team analysis: "I will discuss with Baker what he wants to do. I'm sure he will want to get our team to the 1st Division, after that though, I do not know." The Board will make a decision in the next couple of weeks. UKFA Officials have noted that such a drawn-out transfer process would be unusual, and may be a sign of delaying tactics on the part of Eagmont - after all, in a few weeks they may have confirmed their promotion to Division One. UKFA Press Releases - Round 15 A guest report from Peace-and-Democracy's FAP&D Manager sheds light on recent successPeace and Democracy manager, Will Scott, today revealed that the football club has been working with the Ferrari Formula 1 team in order to "improve our performance with the ball". The F1 team are used to working under pressure with time constraints and have to produce an top-notch performance time and time again. "These are skills which we can then replicate on the pitch", said Mr Scott, "By working with people like Jan Todt, Ross Brawn and Nigel Stepney, we have been able to up our game in order to stay ahead of the competition time and time again, although we acknowledge that there is still a lot of work that we can do and need to do in order to stay at the top." United Democratic Media: 29th August 2006 A guest report from DMCD's FALeninov makes his markJosef Leninov stormed into the DMCD first team on Tuesday with a fabulous goal. The 17 year old made his debut in brilliant style wowing crowds with his skill and maturity around the ball. Within three minutes DMCD supporters were on their feet as he chipped the keeper after a fabulous run. SRP United then struck back however leaving DMCD 2-1 down at half time. An abysmal second half followed with both teams struggling to keep posession and Leninov being substituted in the 52nd minute. A breakthrough finally came in the 83rd minute as a Jordan Sleuber corner found the head of Stephen stirk to secure a much needed draw to keep up the pressure on first place. Manager Patrick O'Shea said after the match: "That was not a top flight performance. I am very upset with my players who where lazy, unskilled and unorganised. I will be having words with them. If we are to fight for first or second place we must improve and improve NOW!" O'Shea hasn't given upReports today suggest that DMCD Manager Patrick O'Shea is set to put in another bid for Contanzia Midfielder George Steinbrenner. DMCD are increasingly eager to bring in a midfielder with such experience and are prepared to raise their offer to get their man. Noone at the club was available to comment but talks are certainly underway to try and thrash out a deal. The club are concentrating on games however. Tommorrow's match with Rawhon United is a must win for DMCD as they hope to fire themselves back into winning ways. Nothing less than a win will please fans as the team hopes to keep up the pressure on first place. Superfan Iva Splinter had this to say: "Dabbling in the transfer market is all very well, but we need to climb up the league. We can win promotion this season if we simply stay focused on the job in hand." A report from the Lisburn Mateys FA, in association with the UKFAExiles pick up the paceAfter Manager Mc Jovi took time after a game to critisize himself and the team, the Exiles have finally moved up a gear. Mc Jovi, still a rookie manager having only having retired from playing 5 years ago, seems to have done wonders since his last press conference with two straight league victories. Alan Morrison shed some light on how things have been turned around: "The players could see the gaffer was down, we were doing everything right in training but when we tried to put that into a game it didn't work. I think he saw himself as a failure as it was his methods. This week we changed a few things around and the players all started working harder on and off the pitch. The coach can only point us in the right direction - we have to do the business on the pitch. We all respect the gaffer - after all, he did win 3 straight Primerio Liga titles with Lisburn Distillery in his playing days, so he knows his stuff. Hopefully we can keep it up. Mc Jovi has a smile on his face again which is a good thing". A report from Eagmont's FA, in association with the UKFABaker says 'No'After deliberating with the Board of the Eagmont Eggplants over the past day, Henry Baker has released this statement: "The Board and I feel that what is best for me and for the club is for me to stay on with Eagmont. We have a strong chance of being promoted to Division One, and I feel I would like to be part of the campaign". Eagmont's Manager, Luke MacAllitser, said: "This is great news. His popularity in the team is definitely right up there with the captain and our goalkeeper, and we need strong defenders. This is going to be tough [getting to Division One], but i'm sure with people like Baker, we will do well." The Team heads off to a specialist training camp this week, focussing on being fitter and faster for the upcoming matches. UKFA HQ

UKFA Press Releases - Round 17 A report from the Costanzia Sports Network, in association with the UKFAMediocrity Reigns SupremeCostanzia Sports NetworkZidane came out and said that the team is playing mediocre at best. "With the exception of the CoR match this week, we've been slow on offense. The rest of the UKFA has figured out how to shut down Bob (Sacamano). Last time I checked there were like a bajillion other guys out there on the field." Zizou was visibly frustrated with the team's recent performance, and smashed the podium with his head after that comment and left. The CFA has had enough of the fiery behavior and are fining him 10,000 poisoned envelopes, or the equivalent of about 7100 USD. And seeing how the podium was UKFA property, he will probably be held responsible for replacing that. The team has been underperforming this season in League play, but the Cup of Regions tourney as been the last shred of hope for the Jon Voight Faithful. After getting thumped 0-2 by Top 10 top dogs P&D, Costanzia ran circles around Flatisia Flatheads to remain undefeated in group play. And in this weekends League match against, Costanzia held Racing Club, the class of the league, to a 0-0 tie. This after getting their first ever victory against Racing Club in a cup match the previous week. "We really needed that result. We hadn't gotten a result in the league for about a week. I don't know what happens to us, we play well for a week, then we get into these funks where we can't buy a goal." But buy a goal JV just might do. DMCD has been in hot pursuit of CJV middie George Steinbrenner. And while management has spurned them twice, they believe that its time to shake up the roster a bit. It's been rumored that the offer has been for 2.1 million pounds, but Costanzia may ask for more, or an additional player in return. "We aren't playing for the Top 10 title right now, but we aren't dead yet," said a CFA spokesman. "There is still half a season left, and we are only a few points behind 5th and 6th place in the standings. We can make up this ground with the right moves and a little dedication. We are confident that we can avoid relegation." The Jon Voights are preparing for their next match where they will host Shawdom at Stade Vandalay. A report from Joolsdom's FAMeles ArrestedAlex Meles, manager of Joolsdom Forest, has been arrested as investigations into the Joolsdom match fixing scandal intensify. Police have confirmed that Meles is in custody and is assisting with their enquiries, but would not reveal any further details at this time. Franz Dachs has not been arrested at this time, but the UKFA stated that investigations have not yet concluded into either Meles or Dachs involvement. The scandal is alleged to have something to do with the recent sponsorship deal with GMPV, however the exact nature is still a mystery. Both Forest and B 12 industries, GMPV's producers, were unavailable for comment this evening. McGhee RecruitedMark McGhee, formally of Brighton & Hove Albion, joins Forest as caretaker manager until a decision regarding Alex Meles is finalised. McGhee was given the opportunity to help out the Badgers, as he seems to be at a bit of a loose end currently. Meanwhile, Meles remains in police custody but will either need to be charged or realeased within the next 36 hrs. A report from Mittsville's FAMittsville lose managerAtletico Mittsville's Manager resigned from his position today, after a string of bad results over the past month. Fans have been calling for his resignation for a while now after Atletico failed to win a match on the Cup of Regions, and have only put 2 points on their group table. Atletico can now not qualify for the knockout stages. Things haven't been much better in the league. After a good start, Mittsville suffered a drop in form which brought them down to 6th in the table; well out of the promotion place that many fans think should be achieved. All this has caused intense pressure for the manager, who put his decision off for as long as he could before making a statement yesterday. The MFA are currently looking for a new manager, and are thought to be in contact with more than 3 individuals. A spokesman for the MFA said, "We are in the process of selecting a new manager. Whoever gets the job will be able to concentrate on improving our league position with our full support." A guest report from Rawhon's FA, in association with the UKFATwo wins in a rowIt looks like Rawhon manager Alex Burke will be staying with the team after the team won two games in a row. Chairman Peter Teron said Burke and his team will be rewarded if they get to 5th place by the end of the season. Poyser looks set to replace Speed after a brawl, repordedly over drugs. Speed will be out for the rest of the season whilst he recovers from a hashish-inspired hallucinogenic stupor. Shares in Rawhon's snack industry were said to double in value overnight. In the court case of Chairman Peter Teron's attempt to sue 'Shocking News' over letting the infomation that manager Alex Burke might be sacked, the court found in favour of Teron. Shocking News will be banned from publishing any half-truthes (the meat and potatoes of the metaphorically muddled newspaper industry) for one year and will have to pay Teron an undisclosed amount. It is understood that Teron will invest a substantial proportion of the amount back into the club. A Report from Pacifist Cowards' FASashov Satisfied - Losing Streak StoppedYuri Sashov has today congratulated his players for picking up their first win in a while by taking them out and getting them drunk. Apparently it was a "teambuilding" exercise, that led to Sashov himself being thrown out a restaurant as he stripped off on top of a table. He was, for once, unavailable for comment. After a fruitless search for defensive talent, Sashov has decided to call upon a youth team hopeful, 17 year old Alexi Sakalov. The talented defender has shown promise both as a wing back and a fully fledged winger, and is officially the fastest player in the club. Cowardly fans are hoping that his graduation from the reserves was well-timed, and won't spoil what looks to be a glittering career. UKFA HQ

UKFA Press Releases - Round 18 A report from the Costanzia Sports Network, in association with the UKFAFan's Actions Dampen High Spirits at Stade VandalayCostanzia Sports NetworkIt has been a long time since the Jon Voights put together two in a row, but in this week with only two matches, Costanzia was able to triumph in both. The first, and most impressive, was a tough road victory against Racing Club in the Cup of Regions. Usually B12 has little trouble dispatching CJV, but Costanzia has gained a result against RC for their third consecutive meeting. The winning goal was put in by Bob Sacamano in stoppage time with roughly one minute left to play. Sacamano, who was looking like a Player of the Year candidate at the beginning of the season, had remained fairly quiet after coming back from a knee injury as his mobility has been hampered slightly, and opposing scouts figured out the Costanzian attack. "I know I said I was ready to play, but honestly, I wasn't really 100% until recently. I feel as good now as I did when the season started." A CFA spokesperson said while they are happy that Sacamano is finally healthy, they are not happy with him withholding information like this, and that Sacamano will be fined one week's wages. And the good times just kept on rolling as CJV hosted second place Shawdom Intl, and shut them out. The real star of the game was goalie "Crazy" Joe DaVola, who had been looking sluggish as of late. But he shined here as he guessed right on a Shawdom PK, then had a mid-air collision with an opposing striker off a corner kick, but still had the sense to get up and dive on the ball before it rolled into the net. Zidane was not available for comment after the match as he was given a nasty headbutt while celebrating on the pitch. The assailant emerged from the stands and the replays show he lined up Zizou from about 25 yards. The man was quickly captured by security and taken into custody by the Durham police. He was later identified as Bill Mallo, the brother of Ed Mallo, the fan that Zidane attacked earlier this summer during a friendly with Lisburn. Zidane was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but is expected to miss at least the next game. The Durham Police are currently investigating how the man got on the field, and how a man of relatively meagre means was able to afford to come so far to avenge his brother's honor. More on this as it becomes available. A report from DMCD's FAForeign FanbaseA football fan based in Shinrita has delighted fellow DMCD supporters by convincing dozens of locals to back the team. Neil Young, 26, a shipping contractor who was born in DMCD, said he had converted Shinrita workers into loyal AFC DMCD fans who now never miss a game. The group of men watch DMCD matches from Mr Young's room in a DMCD Army compound in Auara layer in Southern Shinrita. Mr Young hopes to bring one of the men to the capital to watch a live match. Neil Young Speaking to the DMCDBC news website, Mr Young said the group of men between 25 and 55 years old had become fanatics of the team. "The Shinritians are football mad so one day I talked a group of workers into watching a DMCD match. "Now they never miss a game. "If the games are at night I buy them internet tickets so they can watch the games from their homes because there is a night curfew here and therefore they can't come to my room. AFC DMCD has welcomed the new fans Mr Young, who is a finance executive of Inchcape Shipping Services, lives in army barracks in Shinrita because his employers have a contract with the MoD. He added: "I am now saving up my airmiles so I can bring back one of the workers, Karim Mazan, as he is the only one who has a passport. "It would be unbelievable for him to walk out on the pitch at the Priestman Stadium during half-time." Pete Lindsell, editor of Jambos Kickback website where Mr Young has posted comments about his new DMCD recruits, said: "It goes to show how popular the club are becoming all over the world, and we are delighted that the fans, through Jambos Kickback, can promote the community spirit which DMCD are so well known for. "We will make sure that any donated DMCD shirts are sent to Shinrita for members of the club's newest group of fans." A DMCD Football Club spokeswoman said they have 400,000 fans across the world. She said: "We are delighted with this news. Our fan base is growing and growing. "We have fans all over the world and a number of fans in the armed forces whom we receive letters from." A report from Lisburn Mateys' FAExiles' attendances fall sharplyWhen the Exiles began playing, they played all their home games to capacity crowds. We are now some way into the league campaign and local critics havae picked up on the lastest attendance record. The first 5 home games, including 2 friendlies had an average attendance of 10 016, however for the more recent games it has fallen to an average of just 6107. It is this sharp decline that has many people saying that New Bloomfield park is losing its atmosphere, which it is famous for the Lisburn Rangers who also play there. When quizzed over this Sports minister Roger Devos who heads an eleven man directors commitee said this was partially expected as the Mateys' national team have been deep in World Cup qualifying and many fans just cant afford to go to more than one game a week and many fans' current priority is to watch the national team. Although our national team is out of the world cup they did however qualify for the cup of Harmony so we expect these 'smaller' attendences to frequent until this competition is over. In related news manager Mc Jovi , has come out and commented that ," you must beat the big teams if you want to progress" after his side drew 1-1 with the Puffins who are current league leaders in Division One. A guest report from Rawhon's FA, in association with the UKFAUnited Press OnWith another win this week against the Wolves, Rawhon are on form. That's three in a row for them winning as a perfected team. There were celebrations all around the city of Rawhon, with millions in the streets. Here is a fan's view on United's future: "I think we will stand a very good chance of winning the league or at least get promoted. We're 5th in the table and 4 points off top position, there are a couple months left in the season, I think we could win!" Later that man got arrested for been drunk & disorderly. The Prime-Minister had a couple of words to say in his conference this morning: "If we win 5 times in a row, which is 2 matches away on that very night we'll have a city party and Barbecue in the city square, everyone is invited! There will be balloons, Fancy dress-up, Alchol, kids drinks and fun stuff." UKFA HQ
