Pacdude, I know how word filters work. The word "rape" wasn't initially included in the filters, because the first post I made actually posted it. It was added afterwords. It wasn't added to the filter when Tas requested it a long time ago. Odd how that word would have a filter on it, when some of the others in this thread, don't. Had I seen the filter on my first post, the quotation marks would have been edited in immediately, though on our forum, we can cover those.
I truly miss the camaraderie of the old Hyrule. There, a member's concern, regardless of whether or not the member was liked by admin, would not have been turned into a joke.
Now, to be honest, I didn't expect much else. Drama's over JC, unless you want to carry it on. I'm not going to receive any straight answers in this thread, even as a member of the forum, and one who contributed greatly in the past.
But I am surprised that most of you on the forum aren't concerned over word filters being changed, splitting and merging threads.
I am sorry to see this much of a change in the Hyrule I spent so much time working for and playing in.

I think we've all gotten a bit too crazy on this thread. We've got other forums and threads for that purpose, this is not one of them. However, the last post that was there as recently as yesterday when I posted my first comment was September 2, made by you. The others were not there. I checked for them, EMC had checked for them and so did Minaris. If you mean posts in the embassy, do you mean the post I made on this thread on the second of September? Keep in mind that on ProBoards forums, there is no option to split threads.

Im now gonna get serious and Mod like. Seeing as this has now become a joke thread I suggest you take it to the chatterbox or something. As everyone has turned this into a bit of a joke I suggest you PM me if you want me to look further into this.
This is the one and only warning, keep it on topic guys, otherwise your simply spamming. This goes for the whole forum, I'm gonna start locking things that go off topic like this.
Play nice kiddies.

Ness, you haven't yet addressed the question of the word filters being added to the word "rape", although I've brought it up in this thread several times. Any particular reason?

Locked. Ness can you give Tasman mod permissions so she can post here, and JC cannot anymore? Sorry JC, but Robengrad is right this time, we do need to get this serious

While I do agree with Rob here, I will not give mod powers away unless someone is elected into office.
And yes, while we do need to get more serious, I feel that J.C. was just expressing what he thinks about word filters, not attempting to turn this into a joke again.
I feel that this topic should be left open until, for example, the thread creator gives us permission to close it or something like that, and people should be allowed to chime in with their own opinions. Any more joke posts, however, should be removed, as several people don't want that to happen again.
Sound all right?
