Tony Blair announced earlier that in the next couple of months, he is going to reduce the amount of British troops in Iraq to 5, 500, with the remaining troops only there for training the Iraqis. I think this makes him the coolest politician in the world right now, because he has been elected into power, and he's ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING USEFUL. And, of course, I'm British.
Vote away.

I voted "Other." Arnold Schwarzenegger was in The Terminator, and that's pretty cool for a politician.
As for BLiar... he's on his way out and he's desperately trying to scrape together some sort of positive legacy.

Ron Paul, a Presidential candidate in the US that actually supports the Constitution.

Constitutions mostly suck - they only serve to empower the powerful, and to institutionalise authority, which has been invented by the Catholic, Jewish and/or Islamic oppressors! Free the people! Question the law!
BTW, I voted my favourite for the presidentials: Barack Obama!!!

I never heard of Ron Paul... But whatever. People interpret the constitution differently, just like the politicians who battle on and on about whether homosexual unions should be allowed (wheras I just say whatever..). Plus since I'm technically not a US citizen yet, I can't really vote.
And Krits, the only reason people like Obama is because he's black. Were he another White Anglo-saxon Protestant (WASP), he wouldn't get any of the hype generated by the press. All politicians do suck, and all politicians loose off lies. The only difference between a good politican and a bad politician is the amount of lying the two shoot off.
That said, I like democracy...

No interpretations on Ron Paul's count strictly what is and not in it, policy wise. If it is not directly stated that the Federal Gov. can do it then he votes no because it is automatically unconstitutional. He is a Texas rep. I believe the 14th district. The stupid media does not cover him because they don't think he is what the people want to see covered, ie the people don't know him a lot so no coverage, it is sad really.

Oh, then I will vote EM too That said, you're all right: politics and politicians suck ... that's why I want to become one , i actually like politics, I like debating about anything, and, I'm quite good in it too , the only thing so far that has kept me from running in an election is that I cannot find a well-suited party for me (read: one that pays well ) ...
