And here's the updated welcome telegram, it hasn't been changed in nearly two years so I felt it was important to update it.
Welcome telegram:
Greetings and well met, [nation name]!
Having just moved to Hyrule, I’m hoping that I can convince you to take a more active role by registering and posting on the forum, as well as joining the World Assembly.
First, the World Assembly. The WA, as I'm sure you have read by now, is an international organisation devoted to establishing basic human rights and other such standards throughout the world; or, depending on how you see things, an attempt to subvert your national government and establish a pan-global state. Regardless of how you feel, joining the WA helps our region: by endorsing the current delegate, our region will have greater influence within the legislative body. Joining the WA is not required, of course, but it is the easiest and one of the most important ways you can help the region! (If you don't like the idea of joining the WA, but wish to have a vote anyway, it is possible to create a second nation and move it here for the purpose of WA voting.)
Second, the forums. As you know from the telegram you first received, there’s a little bit of something there for almost everyone, including, but not limited to:
1. Games and discussions in the Dodecahedron
2. A chance to become involved in the role-play section of the forum
3. A place to vote on all WA resolutions, whether or not you are a WA nation.
4. A chance to partake in the many jobs we have available, or participate in the regional government, if you wish to do so.
We are looking for fresh ideas and input, but without joining the forum, your voice cannot be heard. All regions become stale if they hear only from the same individuals all the time. We already have a forum on which members have made many posts. We are still looking for new ideas, and we would certainly love to hear what you would have to say! =)
The URL (address) for the forum is forum.hyrule.org
Don’t forget to add the forum address to your “Favourites”.
Once there, look across the top of the board, and you’ll see various buttons, one of which is “Join Now”. Click it, and follow the instructions. If you get stuck anywhere, and aren’t sure how to use a feature, if you look at the top of the forum board, you’ll see a “Help” tab. Click on it, and it will take you through all the features of the board. Once you’ve registered, you can post anywhere on the forum, but my suggestion would be to head to the Hyrule Institute and click on “Introduce Yourself. Start a new topic by clicking “new topic” on your right, and as a heading, just enter “Hello”. Introduce yourself to the rest of the community. You’ll be surprised at the reception you get! Once you have posted that, you must ratify the constitution, so you can become a citizen of Hyrule and have full voting rights and privileges. Hope to see you on the forum. And please, don’t hesitate to send me a telegram if I can help in any way!
If by chance you’ve already registered, or have joined the World Assembly, and I’ve sent this to you by mistake, my apologies. I obviously can’t read my own writing!
Again, welcome to Hyrule, and I hope it meets your expectations!
