Anara relaxed, slightly. She was still ready to kill the pair in an instant, but decided against it for the time being. The man's reasoning was sound; she could afford to postpone their judgement until the Lady of Lies demanded it.
She lowered the point of her dagger slightly, as a sign of good faith, and said, "I am Anara, a priestess of Nakarak. I know little of what has transpired, but I can feel the burning of my blood, the weakness that is strength, the strength that is weakness. It insinuates itself like a parasite within my body, binding itself to me. Every moment without it is a torment, every step away from it an agony. I struggle to contain its spread, but it is a losing battle. We must head south, to Nakarak. If any can find a cure, it will be my people, skilled beyond measure and blessed by the true gods." She did not know what the gods had planned for these two, but she knew her goddess, and the Lady of Lies would have a wonderfully cruel fate in store for these two infidels who had fallen across her path.

Kara, bold and questioning in nature, looked at the woman. The female, at least that was what she thought, looked rather ugly with all her scars. She even resembled that of the old whores of the 20th and early 21st centuries. At least to Kara.
Kara, although more exposed and affected by the Gamna, held her tongue. She could easily have ripped this woman's throat out of her body, but she remembered that she was a fellow mutant, and that they needed to work together to survive. "I'm not going in that direction. We need to go deeper into the Gamna fields. If we go where there is less Gamna, the men that attacked us will surely be in those regions. If you do not want to follow, then go ahead. But I will start my journey north no matter what you decide..."

Sean took in what both of them said. He then commented, "It would be in our best interests to head north. We stand a much better chance against the visceroids than against those suited men. And the last genius who used this carbine didn't load it up fully. Meanwhile, Anara, there's a nearby port facility, and they may have an abandoned boat so you can head south from there. Trust me on this decision, you would rather face a gang of heavily mutated creatures than those soldiers who only need to shoot you in an extremity to leave you bleeding a slow, painful death." He turned to the Nakaran and wondered if she would accpet the offer, or try and go for him. But if she did, she would also be meeting the business end of a rifle that could easily tear her to shreds...

Seleucus was completely caught unaware by Sangdor's entrance and was understandably shocked to hear a soft voice call to him from behind. Spinning quickly, Seleucus confronted what he thought was a sure assailant but relaxed a little when he saw that the man standing before him wasn't armed.
"Who are you and what do you want?"

Sangdor kept his hood on and told the Secretary General, "I am just a friend. I have reason to believe that Kane is behind the Gamna attacks. However, he is protected by your organization, so there is nothing I can really do."
Seeing that the man looked skeptical, Sangdor gave him advice. "If you ever see him, ask him what Radium 354 is. He will tell you it is Gamna and some story that a research team had discovered this. Then check to see if any research was even done into the elemental components of Gamna. I am sure you will find nothing..."

Not nearly convinced enough by the soft-spoken words of the hooded man standing before him Seleucus responded while slowly making his way over to his desk where there was a small button he could push in case of emergencies.
"I'm not sure if I can completely trust you, friend...Despite not knowing what your name is I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and I find it a little hard to believe that you can't simply take him out yourself; after all, you did manage to climb into my apartment."
Seleucus was inching closer to the small button located on top of the desk, immediately to the left of the computer on the desk.
"I am also curious to know exactly how you are so knowledgeable about Gamna and its history, for that is very interesting information you just told me..."
Inching closer...Back to the desk...Right hand reaching back...

OOC: Maybe I should post le Titans arriving.
IC: The Titans carrying the two Canton Rouge armies had finally made their way to the desolate Southern California countryside of the PSC. It had taken a while, but now, the armies were ready to disembark.
As soon as the troops began offloading, they set up the necessary base camp required for further operations in the region, and as soon as it was ready, a reconnaisance team set out to locate the HTO forces already in the region, hoping they hadn't fallen victim to the Gamna attacks yet...

Sangdor noticed the other man moving towards a small button. He pulled a knife, and, in one quick motion, sliced the wires that connected the alarm to the outside. "Trust me, if I have to, I will defend myself. Think about what I have told you of Kane. Do not be fooled by his lies and deceptions." Maff slowly headed towards the window and leaped out, hitting the ground a second later. Not in much pain, but still limping, he hop-stepped to the wall, where he climbed the side and let himself down on the other side. The warning had been placed; now time could tell whether Seleucus acted on it or not...
Kara, too impatient to wait for the other two, started off on her own. When she was about a half mile away, she looked back to see them still deciding. When she turned to continue walking, she bumped into something hard. She looked up and screamed, as the object scooped her up and carried her off. The flash of violet that had surrounded Kara ran with great speed away from the area. Kara, still screaming, fell unconscious due to sheer terror. The organism carrying her from the scene was not human, mutant, or visceroid. A new creature had joined the Gamna conflict...
OOC: Think the Scrin, but instead of being evil and wanting to take over, this force wants to eliminate Gamna from existence...
