Seleucus cursed at himself when he received the message from Clamparapa's Sangdor Maff for Seleucus wished to be fully involved in the conflict, if only to set up another HTO security zone which would later become a protectorate and later a member. Seleucus's ambitious drive was at a boiling point, having nearly lead the man to confront the Asian representative who had proposed the humanitarian mission in the first place. But that was in the past and as Secretary General Seleucus had to deal with the present and how it would effect the future.
A knock at the door interrupted the Secretary General's train of thought and Seleucus quickly beckoned the person in. General Falkirk stood before his superior and quickly saluted, snapping his feet together and raising his arm so that his hand touched his brow. Seleucus gave a half-hearted return salute before asking the General what brought him.
"I wish to inform you that all HTO Expeditionary Forces are ready for departure and with your blessing shall arrive in the region within a few hours."
"You have my blessing..."
"Also, sir...The PSC has notified us that they have prepared a landing sight for our men and..."
"You are the commander of this expeditionary force and because you have more battle experience than I do I will not lecture you on my personal beliefs. To be frankly honest, I do not trust these Pacficans one bit but politics seems to always overrule my gut feelings and so all I shall say is that you will accept this offer but I will not require you to maintain any sort of force there. Please use your best judgment, General..."
Falkirk thought he followed Seleucus's words well enough and so he saluted again before doing an about-face and promptly exiting the door. Speaking into a small communicator on his wrist that was part of the HTO uniform he gave orders to his Lieutenants to message back that HTO forces would indeed land at the designed sight...

Nakarak
Nakar Kor and Timothy Matthews had just finished their speech, and had returned to the city, when out of the blue, a recognizable sight could be seen; a Canton Rouge standard issue UD-12 Shepherd transport helicopter. Inside was the staff for the First Canton Rouge Army, and lo-behold, it brought relief to Matthews, at the very least, there were soldiers now in the area.
The helo throttled off completely, and out stepped a man who would be best identifiable as the general of the army group. He first spotted Matthews, and ran over and shook his hand, muttering, "If it isn't the man himself. Funny you would have been dead, but I'm not one to ask what, or how you didn't die. I'm General Leuster, Canton Rouge First Army." He then turned to Nakar Kor and also commented, "And you must be Nakar Kor, king of Nakarak. Like I said, General Leuster, Canton Rouge First Army. Our men will be arriving over a course of the next 24-48 hours. Unfortunately, the Canton Rouge Second Army, our vehicles, and our Titans will not be here for four days. Already, I have word the Pacific States Coalition has begun moving out towards here, with an E.T.A. of 2-3 days. That may give us enough time to dig in and create minimum fixed positions, but nothing good."
"If I may interrupt," Matthews said, "General, I wish to fight alongside the men. Can I get a rifle and possibly a helmet? And also, Nakar Kor, I would like a sword as well for when it is time for close quarter battles, if you don't mind. Something shorter than a sword, but longer than a dagger would be preferrable."
"Knock yourself out kid," the general smirked. "Though I'm not sure why you wanna face these soldiers. As a veteran of the Six Day War of 2053, let me just say that the enemy is ruthless and won't back down easily. Unless of course you take them by surprise, and even then, it wasn't pretty." He turned to Nakar Kor, and resumed, "Anyways, how can we best help you out?"

Outlands
General Smith had set out a nice far away clearing for the HTO to land at. But he was smart enough to also put the landing site next to the jungle, so as to camoflague the Pacifican infantry who would massacre the unsuspecting soldiers. In addition, he also had set out some Bogatyrs to assume ambush positions, and have the Romanov's mortar cannon be able to barrage the camp. All in all, he had everything worked out, including changing the order to start the ambush to the soonest available time, which would be during the unloading.
As he received word that the HTO would soon arrive, he presented himself in his finest military uniform, and begun walking out to the landing site. Soon, the victims to be would be here, but at the very least, he wanted to greet them personally...
Open water
A massive fleet of ships, aircraft, the works, had just set sail from the Outlands. It's destination: Nakarak. It would take them two days to arrive at the country proper, but they were counting on their swift speed to be able to prevent Nakarak from receiving reinforcements. While the majority of the ships would server as bombardment tools, some ships were also transports, sending the infantry on to the shores of the enemy.
As the fleet continued along, shouts of appraisal for their swift military action were loud, and cheers for the death of Nakarak were louder. In fact, someone even suggested putting a bounty on the head of Nakar Kor himself, as he was the de facto target for everyone. Nobody even seemed to notice that their plans for a quick victory, or even victory in general, were about to be flushed away, but nobody noticed, not even as the fleet continued on the water, making its way to the battle of battles...

Nakar Kor first addressed Matthews's query. "I'll have the armory send up a pair of nrknr cleavers. Tehy're short, wide bladed weapons ideal for hacking, similar to a machette. They should be to your likeing."
He then turned to General Leuster. "We are currently working to set up a defensive perimeter around the city itself. There is only a single easy entrance into the city from the ground. The volcanic basin provides sheer walls on all sides. Keeping the skies clear will be difficult, but we have a few tricks up our sleeves. As for your ground forces, send half of them to the to the Maw, the main gates of the city. The rest will remain here to defend the temple and throne room. Kanakar Vok has plans in place for specific positions where you will be needed. He will speak with you soon. If it is your fate to die in our defense, may you die with honor." He then crossed his arms in salute, and the general left to mobilize his troops. "Now," said Nakar Kor, "the game begins."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kanakar Vok's plan for the defense of the city was well conceived, but even so the fight would be difficult. The heaviest defenses were at the Maw, where half of the warriors guarded the impenetrable black stone gates. Unmarred and shining, it was still a mystery how the artificers of old had managed to cut the gates, as no weapon had ever harmed them since. Before the gate stood thousands of Nakaran warriors, including five hundred of the Slayers. The Canton Rouge troops occupied mainly the top of the gate, checking their weapons uneasily. Fire jelly catapults and dozens of crates of crykylkr took up what room was left atop the gates.
More of the Canton Rouge troops were placed atop the buildings lining the Grand Causeway, leading up to the temple and the throne room. The narrow alleys between the buildings were well fortified, in the hopes of minimizing damage to the city proper. The Greate Temple and the throne room stood side by side, and it was around these buildings that the rest of the Nakaran army, along with another thousand Slayers, prepared to lay down their lives for their country. Both buildings would survive the fiercest bombardment with at most superficial damage, and both were almost impossible to enter by force. No hostile army had ever set foot in the temple since its construction, and only once had the throne room been breached, through the use of a secret passage now filled with lava. Nakar Kor would lead tahe remaining five hundred Slayers and follow the enmy as they went, dealing whatever damage he could. The tchr would be launched as soon as enemy aircraft made their appearance, catching them offguard and hopefully helpless. Once the rest of Canton Rouges forces arrived, everything would be ready for the greatest battle in Nakaran history since the legendary Brothers' War. He hoped it would not be the last.
Though no one would admit it, the forces that had already landed in Canton Rouge though tough, were nervous. And there was good reason to be as well, for thanks to a logistics error, each soldier had only five clips of ammunition for his weapon. It was bad enough for the machine gunners, but worse for the riflemen, but at least then, they would be able to show off the latest Close Quarters Battle movements every soldier had learned, which included rifle butt mashing and physical combat moves.
Slowly, the rest of the Canton Rouge First Army arrived and took up their positions alongside the rooftops and windows of the buildings that would line the path of the suspected PSC route to the temple. As well, the forces set up barricades designed to slow down any PSC advancements, but also facilitate reinforcements into the area.
Meanwhile, with the PSC but a day give or take away, TImothy Matthews used this last bit of time to visit the troops of both Canton Rouge and Nakarak to lend them encouragement, practiced with his new cleavers for when he would have to use them, and most importantly, running messages between the defensive lines and both General Leuster and Nakar Kor regarding the status of the troops. It was important that at least one man stayed out long enough to bolster the morale of everyone, even if it was him....
"Continue reinforcing those defenses!" Commander Revernium ordered his troops. When things were ready, he thought about his plan. When the enemy attacked, the SRCs would hold out only long enough to make the PSC frustrated, then suddenly "retreat" back into the woods. The invaders would think they had simply routed the early defense force. However, when the PSC was advancing by, the SRCs would use advanced camoflauge to hide themselves from the enemy.
When every one of the enemy had passed, the SRCs would stealthily follow behind, bidding their time. When the invaders began their assault on the capital, the SRCs would conduct raids on the enemy's rear. This would confuse them, as the machines would use hit and run tactics to confound them. The SRCs would work on trapping the enemy in a box, between the capital guard and the Synthetics.
Suddenly, Arthus' comm went off. He answered, listened, and immediately sent word to get a Maloy prepped. He needed to get back to the capital immediately...
When Arthus arrived at the capital, the Canton Rouge troops were still arriving. He jumped out of the Maloy, ran through the bustle of landing transports and troops, and found the Nakarak and Canton Rouge Commanders.
"Gentlemen, I have some EXCELLENT news for you..."
Outlands
General Falkirk looked out a window of the Colossus transporter he was on, noticing a nice clearing that the PSC troops had prepared for his troops' arrival. In all 20 Colossus transporters were being used to transfer the HTO Expeditionary Force to the affected region and using data from Project Amun-Ra General Falkirk decided that 15 of the 20 transporters could effectively land and unload at the prepared sight built by the PSC. The small detail of exactly how many transporters would unload then was something that Falkirk had no intention of revealing, especially thinking back about Seleucus' words.
Just as the first few Colossus began to land and unload Falkirk asked for a holographic map, an invention that was quite useful in providing real-time troop movements and battle tactics. Falkirk noticed happily that the 5 other Colossus transporters had headed south, out of the vision of the PSC, and so when Falkirk would make his appearance it would seem that all HTO troops had landed at the prepared landing site. Returning the holographic map to an aide Falkirk suited up in the remaining protective equipment along with a light blue cape or sagum, standard for an HTO commander, and once finished appeared like an ancient general of sorts. "Not even Alexander the Great looked as good as this..." Falkirk thought to himself as he exited his transporter.
Not terribly difficult to spot, Falkirk was immediately approached by the PSC commander and although good at hiding his expressions Flakirk believed he saw a hint of awe in the general's eyes as he gazed upon the HTO's impressive show of professionalism and troop strength.
"Good day, General..." Falkirk said, extending his hand. "I'm General Falkirk and I believe you know why I am here. My men won't take long in unloading their equipment and relief materials, so we should be out of your way in no time..."
OOC: I've added a whole section on the elite troops of the HTO to the factfile, please focus there b/c the 5 transporters that deviated contained about 1000 or so of these troops. HTO regulars are just like normal troops are now, in RL, in terms of uniform but with slightly upgraded rifles, grenades, and such....
General Smith shook his hand, and replied, "Likewise, I'm General Smith. I do hope you don't take too long, because while I can ensure you protection now, I can't be held accountable if anyone harms you here. You can choose to set up camp here or elsewhere, just as long as you are not in our way. Now, if you'll excuse me, I am off to handle other matters."
The general turned and starting leaving the site, but when he was sure he was out of General Falkirk's earsight, he pulled out a radio, and whispered, "Strike team, you are clear to eliminate the HTO whenever you please. Be quick about it, and discreet. Make sure nobody knows."
The voice on the other end confirmed the order, and General Smith left the area with a smile. He knew that now, the HTO would pay the price for sending their forces over here, and they were gullible enough to land at the selected site. A bloodbath, he thought...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, the hidden PSC soldiers in the treelines had their Sudnik rocket launchers at the ready, and the Romanov APC's nearby would be able to bombard the landing site with their mortars. According to the scouts, the HTO was busy offloading their supplies, and thus, unaware of what was about to happen. Now, the time had come to remove the HTO pests from the area. So, when the whisper of "Do it." came about, the soldiers launched their first volley of missiles and the Romanov's fired their first barrage of mortars. The HTO would be unaware of what happened as the missiles and mortar shells made their way over...

Nakarak
General Leuster just received word of an SRC commander with urgent news that just could not wait. After thinking it over, he invited the commander inside to the house that now served as the temporary headquarters for the army. After beckoning him in, the general asked, "Ok, so what do you have that's excellent news for us?"

As the SRC recon platoon watched the attack begin, they could not help but feel guilty. However, orders were orders. When the first rockets hit, they watched the men scream and cry out as they were obliterated. the orders to not assist any HTO troops had come from the High Administrator himself. They had been told to cooperate with the HTO, but, should they be attacked, no aid was to be given. The SRCs had no extra troops to waste on men who would only fight when they were dead. One of the machines shook her head (this was a Selected Infantry platoon) and they melted back into the forest to their small camp. It would be another 5 hours before they made it back...

Commander Revernium's metal teeth glistened through his smile. "General, our Ion Cannon and 'Rods from God' are now orbiting over the PSC nation. In 10.8 seconds, we can completely obliterated the nation, and still go there to sign a surrender pact with whoever's left. We should only use this as a last resort, though, as there are many civilians living there. We will keep this secret until we need to use them as deterrents against the nation's leader. No need to have them scared into chucking a nuke at us. Please keep this under wraps, General, as it is our ace-in-the-hole..."

"No problem," the general replied. "You should also be aware that our offensive super weapon, the Grand Missiler, is en route as well. It's a massive rocket launcher that fires a salvo of eight missiles on a given target. It's only been used once, and even only for testing purposes, but the damage is so intense that few can survive a direct hit."
"But you should know that your weapons would need a wide range to destroy all of the PSC, as they stretch in their pre-war state from California up to Washington. But if what you say is true, then by all counts, go for it. I hope that --- wait. Oh god, this is not good." General Leuster brought up a holographic map, showing it to the SRC commander, saying "Judging by this, the PSC will be here in hours. Make sure your men are ready for this, because they are coming in full force." He then turned to his radio, and bellowed, "Notify Nakar Kor and Kanakar Vok that the PSC are just about here, and if they have any final pre-battle things to finish, now is the time. And notify our forces to stand ready. We are not backing down, not without a fight..."

The shoreline of Nakarak
The massive PSC fleet had finally sighted land, a much welcome relief to everyone serving with the fleet. Now, this war could finally be finished with the PSC moving out in the final push against Nakarak.
As the unloading began, a relative calm had settled in over the beach. No zealous warrior had come to try and stop the offloading, which was a big positive for most of the soldiers. Now, they could set up a base camp in peace, and move out towards the capital tomorrow, which was identifed as being in the volcano miles away, thanks to aerial recon scannings done earlier by the air force. They hoped they would be able to march into the capital, and force a surrender from Nakar Kor, but if not, there was always the option of blasting one from him...

Northern Washington, Pacific States Coalitio
The order given was a surprise. Hit Clamparapa with a recently modified nuclear missile. It felt immoral and wrong, but there was no going against the the order, under penalty of death. The reason behind this was that thanks to a recent discovery, the PSC had discovered that the Clamparapans had set up superweapons ready to strike them. So, they were going to counter with a pre-emptive strike.
No one would expect the results, but that in 16 minutes, a randomly selected city in the northern region would be obliterated from the face of the Earth. Few knew if this would be successful, but nobody cared, for as long as they got their point across, that was all that mattered. And with a final countdown, the missile began showing the familiar sight of engine thrust and smoke as the missile began lifting off, preparing to head into orbit before striking its target...

As the nuke rocketted into the sky, the general of the Ion Cannon looked down at the large nuke headed in the homeland's direction. Because he was on the station itself, he could see the missile quite visibly. He looked around at his confounded subordinates, and, after the shock had passed, ordered the cannon to fire.
Following suit, the two RfG platform commanders ordered their's to strike as well. Each of the 5 Rods had the power of a medium nuclear missile, without the fallout. The Ion Cannon opened fire on the capital, with the Rods striking military bases and visible silos. The 15 Rods that were left would be used later.
The 8 targetting and ionizing beams of the Cannon suddenly appeared on the capital building, a strange sight to people in the streets...
Nakarak Coastline
As the PSC troops landed, the calm was almost irritable, and as the troops began to move, they could uneasy. As the first forces marched through the trees, the SRC began their attack. The first dozen invaders or so were cut down by wolverines, but, undaunted, the PSC fired back, even killing a few SRCs.
The machines suddenly let out warcries and charged the humans with their shear size and power. The machines were strong enough to tear a man's limb off, or even break his neck by merely grabbing it. A savage attack, but one that was part of Revernium's plan. When ordered to retreat, the SRCs would actually be viewed as running in all directions. This would certainly be viewed as a retreat, and reinforce the idea that the defenders had been routed. However, for now, the Synthetics were content in ripping men apart and bashing them to death. No ammo could be spared...

Nakar Kor received word from a messenger of the PSC's landing. He shouted to the Slayers that made up his personal guard, and to the troops near the Maw where they now stood, ready to fight, "The enemy has set foot on Nakaran soil! They have desecrated this hallowed ground, and none shall leave our home alive!" He unsheathed his sword and held it high, the sun glinting off of the ebony blade. "Their blood shall flow so thick that the ground cannot drink it all, and they will flounder and die in a flood of their own death. The carrion birds shall burst their bellies and fall to the ground, too heavy to fly. The wailing of their women shall be heard in the farthest corners of the world! They come for death. Let us give it to them!" The warriors began their war chants, asking aid of gods and ancestors for the ordeal about to begin. Everything was ready. All that remained was to take the plunge.

San Diego
The bright light suddenly turned to explosions as one by one, sections of the capital began being destroyed by the Ion Cannon. Effectively, now, the PSC was leaderless, thanks to most, if not all of the city being reduced to rubble from the cannon. Of course, more cities would also be subjected to the cannon's devestating fire, but for now, just reducing the capital was more than good for the Clamparapans...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nakarak
Slowly, the PSC continued, having to deal with attacks from the Synthetics. And having dealt with these beasts for the first time, there was really no way to counter them, so they did the best thing they could do, and fire into their heads, hoping to disable them. Also, these guerillas were also being blasted by the Bogatyr battle walkers, knowing that one rocket would be enough to blast threw a man, whole.
While some of the convoy dealt with these attacks, the rest made their way along the roads to the capital, razing whatever they could to cause as much collateral damage as possible. Whether it was burning farmland or knocking over outlying settlements, it mattered not, for as long as the smell of destruction could be seen, they were happy to cause carnage.
Slowly, their progress was halted when they saw the massive black gate guarding the city entrance. They believed that with enough sustained rocket fire, the gate would collapse, allowing entry. But no matter how many rockets were launched at the gate, it would not fall, but the same could not be said for some of the soldiers at the top of the gate, who were blown out of their positions from the rocket fire. Knowing that the original method would not work, the back up plan was brought up: Use the transport helicopters to send in the forces.
Now, an onslaught of BTR-20 Yastrebs filled the sky, preparing to drop their cargo off in the city, and open up the gate. Meanwhile, the Canton Rouge soldiers atop the Maw waited for the helicopters to get in range to use their missile launchers. As the helicopters continued along, shouts of "Steady, steady!" were heard. Finally, the order to "Fire!" was given, and the first anti-air missile from a Canton Rouge soldier was launched. The battle had now begun, with a flurry of rocket fire being directed at the transport helos, who in turn, retaliated with fire from the occupant's rifles, and two machine guns emplaced on the helicopter. All that could be done now was to wait. Wait for the reinforcements to arrive and turn the tide of the battle, as it was now infantry against whatever the PSC had in store...
As soon as the helicopters came in sight, Nakar Kor signaled the tchr to counterattack. Catapults atop the walls launched firejelly and dozens of crykylkr into the air, disabling or destroying several of the helicopters. When the tchr arrived, however, the tide truly turned.
The nimble fighters danced circles around the stunned helicopters, sending streams of molten rock to melt the tails and propellers of the sluggish choppers, sending them tumbling to the ground. With a roar, the Nakaran infantry charged forward, cutting apart any enemy that was on the ground, either from downed helicopters or simply from remaining behind.
The Slayers did their part brutally well. Very few died, as their armor proved nigh impenetrable, and their fortitude well beyond that of lesser men. They used various weapons: some favoring the traditional Nakaran long sword, others a pair of cleavers, and a few using bizarre metal studs imbeded in their knuckles to fight like wild animals. Whatever their weapon of choice, the PSC forces quickly learned to fear the deadly warriors in the black coral armor. Their fear was well founded; the thousand Slayers at the gate accounted for as many casualties as the rest of the Nakaran forces combined.
But what was truly to be feared was Nakar Kor himself. Ever he was to be found in the thickest, most desperate fighting. Thevery sight of him rallied the surrounding troops to fight with fanatical zeal and suicidal fervor. He drew fire from practically every enemy combatant that had a clear line of fire, and many who didn't. Yet the Nakaran ruler seemed untouchable. His ancient armor and diamond crown deflected all but a very few shots, and those on the arms or sides of his face. Rockets exploded around him, tearing mighty warriors in half, yet he suffered only the most superficial wounds. And no matter how tightly the enemy pressed about him, ever he managed to cut his way free, only to dive further into the heart of the enemy. Victory seemed certain.
It was then that disaster struck. A lone helicopter managed to land inside the Maw, and the troops within overpowered the few troops that had remained to guard the gate. The iron jaws opened wide, ready to swallow up the PSC, the Nakarans, the Canton Rougians, and anyone else who dared to pass within. Nakar Kor rallied the Slayers about him, of which only a scant two dozen had been slain, and fell back to within the gates, the PSC troops hot on their heels. This battle, it seemed would be decided not before the gates of Nakar Kor's beloved home, but in her very heart: before the Great Temple.
"RETREAT!!!" yelled one of the SRCs. They suddenly turned tail and ran, with the PSC firing behind them and laughing. As soon as they were out of range, The SRCs activated their camo, and became almost invisible. Less then 10% of their force had been killed or wounded, and they had more then enough to execute Revernium's plan...
Commander Revernium was also a sight to behold. Standing over 2 meters tall, he could pick men up and hurl them at their comrades. As a machine, he felt no pain as shots penetrated his arms and legs. His processors were well protected and his head was covered by a steel helmet. Much stronger than other SRCs, he could break men in two and tear off their heads without hesitation.
However, the bullets started to take their toll. One finally struck a connection wire in his right leg and he went down. Indeed, the battlefield was so thick with fighting that 2 enemy troops actually cushioned his fall. When he fell he pulled out his berett and opened fire. Three soldiers turned, aimed, and placed 30 shots into his body. Too much for him to handle, he growled so long and loud, that it was thought that the wolves had joined the fight. He fell over, a dead husk, but his finally signal, the growl, told the SRC forces that they were on their own...
Over Pacific Ocean
"...Repeat, this is Sky Devil. We have targetted the nuclear missile and are opening our payloads."
"Copy that. You may fire when ready." The missile tubes on the hovering F-35s flashed and 12 missiles streaked towards the nuke. However, instead of hitting the warhead and disintegrating it, the nuke veered, and plummetted straight towards Riefort!
"Uh, sir, we have a problem..."
Now, the PSC had an open path into the city, thanks to the brave souls of the one helicopter who had landed inside the city. Immediately, Bogatyrs, Nekomatas, and Romanovs stormed the gate, crushing whatever resistance that remained at the gate, and erecting flags of the PSC atop the gate to commemerate their first victory in the assault.
While the vehicles remained on the main path, blasting their way through resistance, infantry had to clear out the buildings, which were fiercely occupied by both Nakarans and Canton Rougians not wanting to die without a fight. But even their bravery, and their attacks in close quarters were in vain as slowly, the PSC eliminated the strongpoints set up by the defenders and continued to advance into the city, on a seemingly endless roll towards the Great Temple, the heart of the country, and the capital.
Meanwhile, Timothy Matthews was also in the fray, eliminiating what infantry he could with the swords loaned to him, thanks to a rifle cartridge jam at the start of the battle. Although he was smart to pick his battles carefully, he was also gutsy enough to challenge them whenever possible, and before long, he had racked up seven kills with swords, bringing as proof, bloodied dog tags of the PSC soldiers that he had slain. And seeing this man fight with melee also convinced the Canton Rouge soldiers to engage the enemy in melee combat with the butts of their rifles, being able to incapacitate many PSC soldiers who did not expect an enemy to fight with both firearms and melee tactics. As well, the CR forces were able to effectively pull back when the enemy became too powerful, but at least making it hazardous for the PSC.
Now however, the coalition had been pushed back to the Great Temple, which convinced the forces of nakarak and Canton Rouge more than ever to fight hard and fight to the death, as the sky slowly turned a mix of smoke black and fire red, from the burning of the capital. Most knew that if nothing miraculous happened soon, then at the very least, both Nakaran and Canton Rougian would die together in honor defending what was right from the hands of a corrupt nation known as the Pacific States Coalition. Everyone was ready for the last defense, for the greatest honor, and for the deadliest push ever...
