ooc: Hey constantine I don't know if you going to join yet but I'm including Maggie in this thread homie...
Location: Unknown Year: 3123
Saiedion Lucian walked around his private villa in a undisclosed area of Hyrule. He recently was re-awakened from cryo-sleep from the year 2020. He sighed and remembered fighting the Convenant forces with the other nations of Hyrule. It had taken a lot of convincing to let them know that he truly was the Archon, the Protossian Prophecy that would rid the evils of the Convenant from the Sol system. Many people of Hyrule died in that war, and after much thought, Lucian decided to go into Cryo-sleep to pass away a 1,000 years until the Convenant swore to return in 3130. Many things have changed since then. Hyrule has a population of 1 trillion people, and space has been colonized. The moon, asteroids, Jupiter (and it's moons), Saturn's moons all had established people there. Only Mars had been abandoned, given that a unknown threat wiped out the entire base.
It was then that Maggie came out from the guest room. She had agreed to meet Lucian and speak to him about what they planned to do for a career, given that all the nations in Hyrule were assimilated into the HTO.
"I just had the weirdest dream, Saiedion. We were on a immense star destroyer that had the ability to wipe out planets. It was then that a Nakarak force came and attacked everyone- and it was your final sacrifice to eliminate the entire system to keep humans and Protoss alive in another system. Weird, huh?"
Lucian in spite of himself, smiled inside his Death Mask. Maggie would see it, so he nodded.
" Yes, that is rather odd. The Protoss are in the Auiran system. They have the ability to make a ship that size. But Nakarak? They were always the friends of Protoa. Last I remember, they left for Io and Titan to live in worldships when the HTO took over. I sometimes contact them to ask how things go, and as always, they are polite and still refer me as the "Sanar". I guess I will always be their defender. As will I always be yours and everyone else against the Convenant."
It was true the Convenant hadn't shown face in over a 1,100 years, but who was to say that it wouldn't happen....And now it was up to the HTO, and Lucian to help defend Hyrule.

Maggie looked surprised. "The Covenant? What are they? I have no knowledge of this threat. After all history records were wiped out by the Great Fire in 2390, I would understand why noone else knows about this force. Could you tell me more, Lucian? I would really like to learn about this army." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Covenant Commander Klyndor bowed to the Prophet after speaking with him. The leader vanished and the Commander opened up a communications line with all ships in his fleet. "We have discovered an enemy that we have not seen for many hundreds of years. The Prophets have ordered us to attack their nearest colony and destroy it. We will wipe this petty threat from the Universe and continue the Great Journey!"

Federated City Federal Hall
“The majority of you here are over a thousand years old. We have seen wars, been in wars, and many fear us, for evolution has made us different. We have been closed off it seems form our region, and as High Chancellor it is my responsibility to bring this issue to this body. We need to let the past not haut us and be open to the rest of the world like East Malaysia has. In Hyrule, they barely know anything about our energy forms. Will this body help me, or do I have to override with an executive order. Who wants to speak first?” High Chancellor Maximilian Warwick, II.
An older woman Councilor, Mary Grey, stood, “I think, you are very correct. Your-” she was cut off by Councilor Bear
“Oh please! His father died, remember? When Federated City was invaded. I like-” he was cut off by Mary Grey
“How dare you speak!” she slightly glowed but didn’t transverse, “You where a child when that happened. Do you remember where I was? I was in this very seat when it happened. Oh, Mr. Bear, I do remember. You should learn to speak on something you know, you never know how elections votes come in.” with that Mary sat back down.
“How-”
“That’s enough!” Warwick II yelled out, glowing himself. “I don’t want to hear arguments, and I know that’s all I will get. We are reopening the boarder fully, in fifteen. So I would all of you, I would get busy making sure the Three Halls are well secured. We wouldn’t want so many centuries of information to get lost. Remember we still withhold information. Thank you, y’all have a nice day!” with that he transversed and vanished.
Leaving everyone to hurry out on foot or transverse.

Nakar Laigrek sat in his throne on the worldship Blade of Lucian, named after the great Sanar who still lived, more than a thousand years after his ritual battle. Reports were coming in from scouts on the edges of the system of a new and powerful enemy. Their ships fit the description of the old Covenant forces.
Nakar Laigrek was uneasy. Nakarak could possibly stop these foes, though the cost would be dear, but it was by no means a sure thing. Loath as he was to admit it, they would need help from the infidels of the system to overcome this threat. Nakar Laigrek sent out a message to Sanar Lucian, which said:
"Sanar Lucian, our scouts have reported a powerful enemy making incursions on our borders. Their ships match the description of Covenant forces. Nakarak cannot hold back this foe alone. We will need your help. Rally what support you can, and contact me when you are ready. Nakarak can hold them off until then. Blood for the Gods, and death for our enemies!"
Nakar Laigrek then turned to Warmaster Vakara. He said, "Assemble a task force of a dreadnought, two destroyers, five frigates, and two carriers, and set up an interdiction field along the length of our border. If we meet these Covenant scum again, kill them."

ooc: ok this may be long.... Lucian nodded at Maggie. "I would guess you wouldn't, so let me explain to you as I did to your great-grandfather Marcus. The Covenant was founded at an undetermined point in the past, though it is implied that it is of ancient origin. Long ago, the Prophets and the Elites were locked in a bitter war, and when the Prophets learned of the Forerunners and their "Great Journey", hoping to create tranquility between them, told the Elites of their doomed existence and promised that they would find the means of the Forerunners' transcendence and share this knowledge with them. The Elites promised to protect the Prophets as they searched. Over time, they encountered different alien races and promised salvation and freedom if they joined them. In those times, they fought a long, drawn out war against the Protoss, my half-blood. They insisted that Hyrule belonged to them and that the Forerunners had tried to wipe the scourge of humanity off the face of the earth. They also stated that the humans and Protoss had a unbreakable bond. In 100AD, there was a battle on Hyrule, mentioned in the Revelations section of your bible. As the forces of humanity began to fall all across the globe, the Protoss picked up a distress call from a damaged Convenant Banshee that had entered the atmosphere wrong and clipped it's wings. The Protossian forces immediately hyperspaced to Hyrule, to which they formed a blood pact with the humans. They swore that as long as the Protoss remained alive they would protect humanity and Hyrule- as a defense and embarrassment to the Convenant. The war was fought hard and long but the Humans and Protoss were successful. The Convenant left, pledging they would attack again. Soon after, the Protoss began taking humans to their system and planet Aiur. There the humans became Terras or Terrans, known for their telekinetic and telepathic skills. The Protoss and Humans of Hyrule also began to fratenize, and undoubtedly they had cases where some fell in love. But many wouldn't be able to consumate offspring, given that Protoss and Human genes didn't mix. But there was a prophecy that the impossible would happen, and that this entity would be deemed the savior of Human and Protoss alike. That is me standing before you. In the year 2020, the Covenant landed again. It took much consideration for me to lead the HTO attack force, and along side me was Marcus Theafer. The Convenant were repelled again, and I placed myself in Cryo-Sleep to wait for the Convenant to strike again." It was just then that he noticed Nakar Laigrek's message. He stroked his villip that the Nakarak gave him and replied, "We will try to get the HTO notified. I have since had the Protossian fleet in Aiur moved to the Sol system in 3 days. It is not large but sufficient until the "Violator's Revenge" will be made. Of course I have told you about it. It is Eclipse class rating, around the ball park of 25 miles long. But it could take up to 3 months to complete. Hopefully my Hapan Class BattleDragons Hapan Class Nova Battlecrusiers, and of course our pride, the Protossian carriers will help." ooc: I have combined Starwars with some starcraft-since starcraft 2 is coming out... BYAAAA!!!

Nakar Laigrek received Sanar Lucian's message, and responded, "I have set up a task force to guard our borders, but I would feel much better if you would allow me to bring my worldship Blade of Lucian to guard the shipyard for the Violator's Revenge. Warmaster Vakara can manage things here. Then I can also help plan the defense of the system. I can be there in three hours." He ended the transmission, letting the villip return to its dormant state. He then set a course for the classified location of the shipyard, and made the jump to lightspeed.

3 days later... Sol System
The Protossian fleet arrived composing of 5 BattleDragons, 10 Nova-Class Battlecruisers, and 3 Protoss Carriers (carrying 30 Interceptors each). One of the BattleDragons moved away from the fleet to rendezous with Jupiter's orbit. There they began mining the space around the planet with pulse mass mines. It was a ingenius thought, ordered by Lucian himself, for the mines were deemed 65% effective against the Convenant's plasma shields.
The remaining part of the Protoss fleet were on the dark side of the moon and then transmitted a message to the HTO command.
" I am Grand Admiral Nisa, of the Protoss fleet for Earth defense. A Convenant fleet is on it's way by the help of Hyper-Assistance. If you would meet us on the farside of the Moon, it would be greatly appreciated. Together, our fleets can repel the Convenant force once again and we can take the fight to the enemy!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lucian listened to the fleet chatter of the Protoss fleet and then turned to face Maggie.
" Well, I hope I have explained to you about the Protoss and Convenant as well as I could. We can only hope that the HTO will answer their call. The Protoss fleet alone will not be sufficient enough to repel the Convenant, and the Nakarakans could be defeated also. But, now that I have your attention better, you have asked me about your great-great grandfather Marcus for some time. What would you like to know about him?"

The first Covenant forces opened fire on the Plutonian moon of Cheron and caught the defenders completely off-guard. Only a small contingent of marines and navy were present and were overwhelmed immediatey. The single super MAC gun in orbit around the moon was destroyed along with the 3 destroyers around the planet. After that, plasma rained down on the moon. It was the first "glassing" in over 1,000 years...

Neptune
A HTO fleet remained in orbit, 1,500 miles above the planet. They had heard the pleas from the marines on Cheron too late. They would have to now only hold the defense. "All shields at maximum!"
"Here they come!"
"3 megaton burst, action right!"
The group of star destroyers fired at the approaching Covenant Fleet. The blasts hit the plasma shields on the ships... taking 2 out... before a volley of high plasma bolts streaked towards the fleet.
"Hold the line!"
"Brace for impact!"
Of the 25 total ships in the HTO fleet, it could be seen that 10 ships had begun to enter orbit...burning as they fell...

Nakar Laigrek received the call for reinforcements from the HTO fleet and immediately dispatched an entire battle group to the aid of the failing defenders. Two dreadnoughts, three destroyers, two carriers, and six frigates, with a total of 216 coralskippers, made the jump to lightspeed only a few light-minutes from the battle, from an outer outpost of the Empire of Nakarak.
A few minutes later, the ships arrived, and coralskippers immediately poured out of the carriers and frigates. Plasma streams filled the battlefield as the coralskippers closed with the Covenant forces. The Nakaran capital ships manuevered in front of the more badly damaged HTO ships, shielding them from fire with their dovin bassals.
The covenant assault was stalled, but not defeated. Plasma blasts hit plasma shields, some holding, some faltering and bursting in a blaze of violent glory. Covenant blasts were absorbed by dovin bassals, occasionally breaking through to strike the hull. One frigate broke apart, yorik corral raining down upon the moon below. A destroyer, with its dovin bassals failing, crashed into a Covenant capital ship, sending both to a fiery grave. Dozens of coralskippers were destroyed, and many more smashed into Covenant shields to wear them down for the capital ships. It was a brutal battle, but it wasn't over. Not by a long shot.

The three Covenant assault carriers were barely touched by the Nakarak reinforcements. They continued to cut through the HTO and Nakaraks line. Finally, transport ships, containing elites, hunters, grunts, jackals, and drones, rocketted to the surface below. They would be the spearhead of the invasion...

Nakaran forces, seeing the transports descending to the planet, immediately began deploying Yorik Strema dropships, teardrop shaped craft each carrying two dozen Nakaran troops. Dozens of ships plummeted to the planet below, as the larger ships poured fire into the Covenant dropships.
Supreme Commander Tadak, the officer commanding the battle group, sent a message by villip to the HTO fleet. "We cannot hold them here. Get your men out of here while you still can. We will hold them while Nakaran ships lay interdictor mines around the area to keep them from escaping. Fortify all nearby systems and prepare for an invasion. We must stay here to allow the yammosk to coordinate our ground forces. We will do what we can. Supreme Commander Tadak out."
The Nakaran ships began to go on the offensive. Dovin bassals grabbed at Covenant shields, allowing coralskippers to rain plasma upon their hulls. The yammosk provided the coordination to allow the coralskippers to pick away at the Covenant fighters as well. One of the dreadnoughts pulled up beside a Covenant assault carrier, its powerful dovin bassals stripping away the ship's shields. A long, tentacle like protrusion emerged from the belly of the dreadnought and latched onto the assault carrier's hull. Troops began to pour through the passage to attempt to take the carrier from the inside.

The Nakarak boarders were greeted by 2 pairs of Hunters, 75 Elites, 15 Brute Commanders, and hundreds of Grunts and Jackals. The first pair of Hunters charged the invaders, swinging wildly. The crushed many enemies in their path while the other pair fired their fuel rod cannons. They caught many of the Nakaraks offguard. Soon the rest of the Covenant soldiers had joined in the fray...

The Nakaran boarders, undaunted by the Covenant defenders, leaped forward, amphistaffs swinging. Several threw blorash jelly at the feet of the Hunters, which tightened around their lower legs in an iron grip. Others threw explosive thud bugs or dangerous razor bugs into the fray. The rest closed with amphistaffs, their vonduun crab armor protecting them from enemy attacks. The boarders, even if unsuccessful, would claim many Covenant lives.
In space the battle continued. Two destroyers and the second dreadnought concentrated all of their efforts on another of the assault carriers. Dovin bassals ripped away the shields, and hundreds of powerful plasma cannons tore threw the hull. All three of the Nakaran ships took damage, but the assault frigate was crippled.
From one of the carriers issued a stream of beetle like insects, more than a foot long with razor sharp teeth. With the HTO ships retreating, it was safe for Nakarak to release the metal eating grutchins, bane of all metal spacecraft. They latched on to fighters and cruisers, ignoring energy based shields and ripping the ships apart until the plasma fried them, leaving both pilot and grutchin dead.
One the ground, the Nakaran ground forces emerged from their dropships. They arrayed themselves on the moon's surface, 750 warriors, armed to the teeth with amphistaffs, thud bugs, razor bugs, and blorash jelly. They were ready to die on that rock, fighting to the last breath.

Meanwhile...In Aiur...
The Protoss units and nanobots continued their tireless work, warping in parts, bringing atoms together to make more armor. The "Violator's Revenge", a eclipse star destroyer, was almost 95.36% complete. The only problem the units and nanomachines had was... providing a sufficient power source for the superlaser...
Titan
A Protoss fleet appeared from hyperspace, just in time to notice a HTO capital ship blow to pieces. The Battle Dragons immediately began to activated their pulse mass torpedoes, hypersonic wave bombs that could decimate anything in their radius.
The Nova Battlecruisers began to pound away at the Convenant fleet above, while a Protoss dropship dropped down to the moon below to assist the HTO and Nakarak forces.
