New Liberalia's first elections got off to truly represent the great democracy of our fair region. The two candidates were Nucleawasta of the Centre-Right Party representing the Right Alliance. The Popular Front candidate was Prime Minister Kurt of the Progressive Labor Party. Both ran incredibly good campaigns: Nucleawasta focusing on recruitment and newbie help and strong cooperation between his cabinet. PMK on the other hand advertised a new media campaign to boost activity and rejuvinate relations with foreign regions. The rce heated up when member Soccersian asked what the candidates did not like about each other. In a grande final turnout Nucleawasta one by one vote 12-11 with three new citizens votes being discounted do to the Election Protection act which requires all voters to be on the forms for at lest 2 weeks and in the region for 2 weeks.
New Liberalia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently began a voluntary incorporation program designed to allow small regions to merge into Liberalia and accept the Liberalian lifestyle with all its benefits such as instant citizenship. So, if you know a region where their recruitment can need a little help, or they just are sick of their region, have them contact New Liberalia.
The Ministry of Media has reinvented itself after a regime change from Alexandr Lukashenko to Prime Minister Kurt (who is not really the PM!!!). The new ministry has created the Liberalia Broadcasting Commission, a multimedia entertainment gateway set to open on August 3rd. LBCvision is set to be the first program, which is roughly set on Eurovision song contest. Culture week is to follow.
Three new admins have been added to the board. The new admins are Northern Sushi, Four Hectares, and Hammer, all who have former invisionfree administration experience. Also, the first class of Guardian Council elections close on Tuesday. This is the biggest GC election yet, with a total of five open spots and almost double the candidates.
