By NatetheGreat, Member of the House of Commons March 4th, 2007.
In recent times GB&I has seen widespread deterioration of its basic fabric. We have seen prominent and infamous members resign their posts and leave us. We have had an ongoing dispute between the Cabinet and the House over policy which has taken its toll. I write this not to cry "peace, peace" but to say a few things worthy of this editorial
I personally apologize if I have added undue fire to this inferno. I have tried to abstain from personal attacks but I have made some strong statements. If I offended you this is my apology. I will not apologize for my remarks on government corruption and that this government is betraying democracy. I have tried to stress my respect for SDF, Don and Klopstock many times. I actually have more respect for the newly appointed FSL than any other member here save our departed King. However, as editor of this new paper and member of the HoC I refuse to compromise on democracy.
That being said this region needs to focus in on maintaining ourselves in moral correctness. We cannot let debate destroy us. This place is debate, without it we die and we will destroy ourselves with undue veracity of it. We must find balance. No policy or plan can give us this. We must do it ourselves, acting out of our own character. GB&I is a wonderful place, but we cannot just up and eave when times get hard or stifle debate. Neither should we allow for people to get trampled on. We need to act with an attitude of respect for others and for the debate at hand. This is the great balancing act of GB&I' present. We must find a balance if we are to have a future.
