Government Statement on the Blades of Conquest Invasion of Ceylon
At 11:24 GMT on 13 September 2006 a British Citizen brought to the attention of GB&I’s forums that the Delegacy of the region of Ceylon, a medium sized dominion of Great Britain and Ireland, had been seized by the invader group Blades of Conquest.
While initial resistance put up by unorganized natives proved unsuccessful, the founder nation was revived and returned to the region at approximately 22:00 GMT on 14 September 2006. Despite publicly stating their intention to withdraw the raid leader, Bob-the-Tomato, gave no time-frame when questioned and his alleged purpose for being there to "plank some fendas" was dismissed without hesitation, and the founder proceeded to eject hostile nations. The region was secured soon thereafter with no harm inflicted.
The Government of Great Britain and Ireland condemns the actions of the Blades of Conquest in the strongest terms. The peace and tranquility of the quiet, democratic region was interfered with by raiders albeit in a bizarre and poorly thought out invasion, one which indicates an amateurish approach to warfare and an inadequate comprehension of NationStates rules and mechanisms. As such, it does not merit any reciprocal action or military response.
Sincerely,
His Majesty’s Government of Great Britain and Ireland

As ambassador to your region, and a (hopefuly) soon to be citizen with one of my puppet nations (though I have not posted much under said nation) I must express my relief that GB&I's dominion remains in friendly hands.
I also praise the decision to not retaliate, and to keep the peace. (Seems very Falklands war-esque judging by your post)
