Oh Mighty Ness,
The Chancellor of Justice is here to answer the call for the defense of the Great Region of Hyrule!

Okay, so people are still interested in this. Instead of just simply posting your support for the idea, though, we need to figure out how exactly this organisation will work. Any ideas?

well my main concern is the prevention of the invading nations. I think that we should have a select number of nations that do not endorse the UN delegate until times of trouble.
That way if a invading nation starts to get endorsements we can have a reserve bloc of nations to hurry up and endorse AN.
Also... if at all possible for some of you.. we can also set up back up puppet nations that are little hidden guys in the bushes (metaphorically) that if AN suddenly gets overthrown, then the other puppet nations we had in reserve could also endorse AN, forcing another coup that would bring AN back in power.
Also Ness, I have been thinking long and hard about this... if the Hyrule Guard is set up... we may have to repeal a part of our constitution...
The Guard would make this rule null and void.
also if we agree to Constantine's idea about going on the offensive and attacking the region's these nations came from or have left to then
would be rendered useless. Just a long thought process I have had that's all. I'll see what you think.

Hello... I haven't been participating much on this discussion... but let me tell you that I do disagree with rendering useless the point 4.1 of our regional constituition. I would not like to see hyrule participating in multi-regional alliances because I guess that joining an alliance sometimes is way more problematic than to stand alone.

oh i agree with you AN... it's just that if we attack like Constantine stated... then we wouldn't be neutral would we?

yeah... but I guess that beeing neutral means that we don't want to join any alliance... a bit like if we were switzerland.

we could be a defense nation only... no alliances and that we only attack back if we are attacked.

I feel being an offensive region could backfire. Thoug I am all for the Guard (it might give the MOIA a reason for existence) I feel that it could be better to remain defensive for some time. We lack the outright power to take another region. Particularly if we are reeling from an attack. And it could just make us a more obvious target.......

yeah i agree with Rob too, I think the best bet is to be defensive...and eject all trouble making nations that pop up.
