Okay, well while you all had cleared this with teh general public, I feel that we, as the council should solidify the vote (as in the house of reps. and senate). I also would like to hear any further thoughts on the topic.
My Thoughts:
Why, in the 1st place are we to leave Hyrule? Hyrule is great as is. We have a fairly large population, firm place in the UN and our citizens are quite pleased. I feel, that with a move this large, we will have such a sharp decrease in population that we may not recover for a year or so. I still find Hyrule to be in perfect condition and capable for more years service and hundreds of more citizens. We practically raised this region, established it as a working establishment, just upping and leaving will damage our populus and the outlook of other nations on us. Just some of my thoughts.

Our delegate, Ness Snorlaxia, felt that it was important to re-found the region, since such an act would give us more of an ability to protect our great region, via the power of a founder nation. However, as it is my job to be, I am concerned about the region's security, during this transition from Hyrule to New Hyrule, for various reasons I have listed in the public discussion thread. Whatever happens, I fear Hyrule is never going to be the same, after this.

Indeed. I'm still unsure of whether or not the Potential gains are worth the risk of loosing name, status, and members. Granted, it would be nice to have a founder again, What exactly would that prevent. We have rules to protect the Delegete's Position, and more often then not we can deal with spammers. I simply don't think the Risk:Reward ratio is high enough. *shrugs*

The benefit of having an active founder is such that a founder has the ultimate ability of protecting the region. He or she can eject as many nations as are in the region, with no negative influence affect. While yes, we have rules to protect the Delegate's position, rules are not always followed, and a rogue nation seeking the delegacy can be quick enough, given the right conditions, to take the delegacy before being detected as a possible threat. For this reason, I do not always follow a strict schedule in my routine security checks, though I do try to keep them within two weeks of each other. But even that is not enough for someone who gets lucky. Thus the benefits of a founder. But still, I have mixed emotions, if you will, about the whole thing.
