Officer St. Louis looked out of his window as he landed in Heathrow and noticed a nation in much better condition than his. As his jet waited in line to reach its appropriate gate he took the time to properly dress up and gave a call to Acting Officer and good friend Steven Engarde, making sure he had the basic instructions he left for him. He gathered his belongings and got off the plane and headed towards the VIP lounge, a bit nervous.

Directly behind the private jet of the Starman Deluxe leader was Consul Cicero's own private jet, the government had provided him one however he felt more comfortable within the familar environment of his own personal jet.
Following suit, the SPQR jet taxied over to it appropriate spot finally situating itself besides the Starman Deluxe jet. Cicero added the final touches which included combing his rapidly whiting hair and fixing his tie. After giving himself a thorough inspection in the mirror he had one of his aids grab his bag and open the jet door, a rush of cool air breezing by the Consul's aging face.
"Let us hope well, especially that we can solidify our special relationship..." Cicero said as he and his aid gradually descended from the jet and made their way over to the VIP lounge, right behind Officer St. Louis...

The third jet in line was carrying President Dentonnine. As he knew very well, Canton Rouge-Robengrad relations were at best neutral, all those months ago. But now, he hoped that with the meeting between the two heads of state, those relations could be patched up.
After the CR jet taxied to its respective gate, Dentonnine took one last moment to ready himself for the meeting. After ensuring he was ready, he exited the gate towards the VIP lounge, all the while wondering if there were other leaders that would be in attendance...

Next, Theafer taxied up in his red and yellow-striped jet. He could see the queen, a person he had never met, but a person who he knew he could never like. Royalty seemed to get by on things handed to them, as he was sure the queen. Nevertheless, he would be as respectful as possible to her.
When he came down the stairs, he walked to the gate and into a lounge. His wife had made sure that his suit was pressed and he was clean over a hundred times before he left. It was something that annoyed him but he knew his wife only cared for him. That made it easier to endure her scolding at him for finding a wrinkle in his suit, or a whisker on his face. He rubbed his chin, noticing that the smoothness felt good, and walked into the lounge...

As the leaders made their way off of their respective jets, the Queen and Prime Minister stepped forward to meet their guests. Along side the red carpet the members of the Household Cavalry regiment stood to attention, thier horses staying perfectly still. Clearly nobody does pageantry like the English.
"Welcome to London" announced Blair with a huge smile on his face, "We are so glad you could all make it. Might I take this chance to introduce you all to the true ruler of the British Empire, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second."
The Queen stepped forward and adressed the leaders lined in front of her, "Welcome one and all, to my home. I trust we can all become close friends and continue to get along cordially."
Stepping forward the leaders approached the Queen and shook her hand, showing great respect in front of the television cameras. This conference was under the global microscope, it was hoped that it would result in a union of the great nations of Hyrule behind plans to aid the smaller nations. But the Prime Minister also wanted to discuss other issues, such as the situation in Indochina and the urgent aid required in the former C.S.A.
With all the greetings and introductions done, the leaders made their way to the motorcade that was waiting for them. Things had come a long way since the fall of Fascism in what was Robengrad, and Blair was determined to show the world that Britain was a great believer in Peace, Freedom and Democracy.
========================= 30 mins later
The motorcade arrived at Downing Street, surrounded by cheering crowds the leaders stepped from their vehicles and made their way into the Prime Ministers home and office. It was here in the Cabinet rooms that the conference would take place, before moving on to the House of Commons, to allow the leaders to address the MP's there later in the week.
OOC - Sorry guys, had a load of deadlines (still do) so didnt have time to post. Please kick this off however you see fit. If one of you wants to start the conference and we can discuss issues as and when they are brought up.

OOC: Posting at all is a step in the right direction
IC:
Consul Marcus Cicero was thoroughly impressed by the numbers of people waiting anxiously for the motorcade to arrive. Granted many of those individuals were members of the international press, but it was nice to see a few people who did not have press badges hanging from their necks.
It had been quite some time since a Porcuian leader had set foot on the British Isles, certainly Cicero's visit was only among a couple from the times of Mussolini. Yet this visit, as those of the past, shouldn't be counted as a mere public sign of cooperation and trust, for the leaders of Porcu usually have better things to do then spend their time traveling in a jet and then "chit-chatting" with a person they could have easily talked to over a secure telephone line.
Cicero had big plans on his mind, one of which included the further expansion of the SPQR's borders into Egypt and possibly Palestine. The main reason was the counter the regional influence of the Ottomans and physically surround them, north to south, as Rome's borders already extending to the Dardanelle Straits.
Obviously, if a bold plan were to work he would have to at least gain the trust of another nation, besides Robengrad, for Cicero was confident that the "Special Relationship" would continue on...

President Marc Dentonine decided to take the initiative with the meeting by first addressing the British leader about the past relations between the two nations, and continuing on with the future between the two. After all, if he could boost the relations between the two, then perhaps the mess of the past could be left behind.
"Prime Minister Blair," the president began. "Let me first off start by saying that I hope we can repair the ties between our two nations, and perhaps strengthen them further. As you know, only a few months back, both of our countries were at war with each other over the matter of the Middle East. While I am certain there are still people fro both countries who wish for this strife to continue, we must look forward to a peaceful relationship between our neighboring country."
"This brings me to our next point. As you know, former Grand Moff Timothy Matthews has just passed away. I truly regret this, and hope that at the very least, this does not appear to be a victory in the eys of Robengrad. But continuing on, I also wish to add on the discussion of the Indochina crisis. I believe that by working something out, our nations could bring order before something terrible happens."

Officer St. Louis took the initiative after President Marc Dentonine and decided to speak, knowing though he did not have much to say.
"First off I would thank you, Prime Minister Blair for inviting me here. This is my first time in an international country and even considering international politics so this may be my only time speaking. Being in seclusion I am not sure how technologically advanced we are compared to the rest of the world but my main priority here is hoping to establish possible trading opportunities but I will voice my opinion in other international stuff."
He sat down and went back to taking notes, hoping he had made an impression on the leaders in the room.
