Lucian smiled as he accepted the pistol. "I will give this to my aide, for it is forbidden to be at the burial ceremony. But I will gladly accept your invitation for friendship. My father had the deepest respect for you and your nation. Though he was deeply disappointed that you left the Central Powers, he remained steadfast as your ally. And following his footsteps, as will I. Allies you were and Allies you will remain."
He then turned to the burial ceremony, walking with Marcus. "My father would never approve of it, but me and my brother have decided on democracy. His belief in remaining a Iron Fist in this nation greatly improved it's reputation and influence, but now is the time for freedom. Though I head state and government, I am limited in power, much like any president of democracies."
Lucian turned to Marcus. "My friend, we have many issues on our ratification of our constitution. The people of Poland and Austria are clamoring for annexation, but I fear that many people would oppose this. I feel when the time is right we will expand, but we will need your support when we are ready. But do not fear, that time is not now, but sometime in the future."

"I will support you whenever you do decide to expand. I would like to sit down and speak with you, alone, after your father's funeral. I would like to speak about trade options between our nations. Our governments never really traded with each other, but I will speak with you of this later. Tell me, when will Saidan's funeral begin? I am anxious to get on with these Nakarakan customs. As a Christian, I am troubled by these rules and restrictions of the ceremony. Why has your father agreed to all these?"

"My father has always had a fondness for the Occult. It was until Nakar Kor showed him the religion of the Nakarak that he fell in love with it. I have a similiar likeness for it, but I prefer my own path, you see. When he agreed to the Ritual of the Sanar, he was considered one of the Nakarak. Now he wants to be buried the same way a Nakarak is buried.
As for our trade agreements, I would gladly discuss it with you. As you know, the former nation of Zionr is now part of the empire, giving us ample supplies of oil. And our Rhine and Saar region are well renowned for it's coal, diamond, gold, and other assorted minerals. We would gladly trade anything and everything with your nation. After the funeral, I will have a long talk with you about this."

Nakar Kor was pulled aside for a moment by one of the priests, who whispered to him for a moment. He then returned to the group. "The ceremony is about to start," he said. "You will have time to pay your respects to Sanar Lucian during the ceremony. When you speak, however, it is important that you not use any titles to address Sanar Lucian. It is disrespectful to the Gods, and makes them believe that the job he did was more important than who he was. Be mindful of this, and speak no ill of Saiedion Lucian while the Gods observe the ceremony." With a quick salute, Nakar Kor took his place in front of his friend's remains.
When the crowd fell silent, he began the ritual. "Great lords, almighty ones, Gods of the Nakaran people, we come here this day to guide one whom we honor into your hallowed halls. Bear witness now to the worthiness of Saiedion Lucian."
"I beseech you, Dorsin, the Faultless One, the Great Forgiver, to forgive the sins and faults of Saiedion Lucian, for no mortal can hope to reach your perfection, and he strove to do what he believed was right." One of the priests took a clay eye in his hand and crushed it, sprinkling the dust over the Lucian's still heart.
"I beseech you, Rameka, the Serpent Queen, Mistress of Shadow and Night, to give Saiedion Lucian the cunning and quickness to defeat the tricks surrounding the sacred realm, for ever was he a clever man, and such have always had your favor." The second priest placed a small jade serpent into Lucian's left hand, while the right continued to clasp the Blade of the Guardian.
"I beseech you, Krazath, the Conqueror, Lord of War, to give Saiedion Lucian the strength to defeat those who bar the way before him, for he was a mighty warrior, who fought with hand and head and heart, and such to you honor most highly." The first priest placed a small ceremonial dagger across the neck of Saiedion Lucian.
"I beseech you, Dar, the Almighty, Lord of All the Universe, to judge the soul of Saiedion Lucian with your eternal wisdom, and find him worthy to dwell in the Otherworld, for he was willing to do what was right, no matter the cost." Nothing was placed for Dar, for nothing was worthy to have his name, save the crown that sat on Nakar Kor's head.
"The friends of Saeidion Lucian will now speak on his behalf." He stepped away and motioned for the others to come forward and say their piece.

The first to speak was the former Grand Moff, who felt that he was obliged to at least say something about the man, even if he couldn't think of anything. So after he got up, he proceeded to the podium, and after the crowds fell silent again, he began.
"People of Protoa, Saiedion Lucian was one you could rely on as a true ruler. While he was in charge of the nation, it was he who formed a new allegiance. It was he who stood up to the world when others talked him down. It was he who guided the nations of Zionir and Canton Rouge. And it was he who allowed my country, Canton Rouge, to peacefully declare independence and establish a new democracy."
He continued, "You really couldn't go neutral with Saiedion. Either you were a supporter or you were against him. But surprisingly, except for a couple nations, most acknowledged his rule. Though he ruled with an iron first, he made sure to put his people first, including myself and the Reich States." "So to close out, we truly do regret the tragic shortening of Lucian's life. Perhaps more could have come from him had he not fallen to a heart attack. But like Nakar Kor said, he is with the Gods now, and he is with the gods of whatever beliefs we have. Thank you." After he finished, he went over to his sons, and told them, "Rest assured, if you need any assistance with establishing your new democratic ideals, I will gladly aid. Just like your father did for my country."

OOC: Pardon the double post.
Matthews knew that now, it was time for him to head out on his world tour. He therefore, turned to Charles Hans Lucian, and said, "Nice meeting you. I do hope you continue your father's legacy. And best of luck to you in the ceremony. If you're lucky, I may be able to be in attendance, pending Nakar Kor's permission of course."
He then turned to Nakar Kor, and told him, "It looks like my first destination of my world tour will be your nation. I do hope I won't be disturbing the ceremony of Lucian. If so, I'll gladly change my arrival to something later."

Nakar Kor nodded his permission to leave, but refrained from speaking to avoid disturbing the ceremony.
