"We have a breaking story here on Sky News this evening. We are getting reports from inside Downing Street that Prime Minister Tony Blair has accepted a request, on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, by the Ayatollah of Nicassar, formerly the Imperial Province of Iran, for the country to be returned to British Imperial Rule.
"Details on this are sketchy but it appears that the country which rebelled against Imperial rule in the 1970's now wishes to return to the Queen's control. Specutlation about such an act had been growing after Protoa annexed lands in the area in the drive for 'Lebensraum'. With the Ayatollah having reportedly now fled Nicassar it appears that British rule is returning once more to the Middle East.
"Obviously we will report more as we get this, but to recap, the former colony of Iran (Nicassar) now appears to be back in British hands following a request by the Ayatollah to return it to the British Empire.
"Now the weather..............."
OOC - Nicassar was my puppet, now I want her back under my 'Imperial rule' in a Protoa\Zionir fashion.

"Um Ladies and Gentlemen, let me first welcome you to this very special news conference here today. Obviously a lot of rumours have been going around in the media and I would like to state now that the British Empire has received an application by the Ayatollah for the re-colonisation of Iran by Imperial forces, and that this request has been accepted.
"Our timeline is now to have a complete handover of power withing a few days and an Imperial Government installed soon after. H.M.S. Hermes and her carrier group are already on their way to the Gulf, and we hope to have troops on the ground by tomorow. Any questions?"
A journalist stood up, "Jeremy Thompson; Sky News. Mr Blair, do you believe this will be seen as a hostile move by the Protoans?"
"Well, Jeremy, I dont believe that will be the case at all. We all know of their search for "Lebensraum" and how it has brought about this action, but we dont think it will be seen as hostile. And nor should it quite frankly."
Immediately another journalist stands, "Edgar Pegg, BBC. Prime Minister, with this expansion of the Empire do you believe Britain can reclaim her postion as a dominant regional power?"
"Yes, yes I do Edgar. I beleive Britain has always been at the forefront of regional politics and that it will continue to be so. I also strongly believe that Britian can further integrate itself in the International community and I will be contacting other leaders soon to have discussions with them about such a move."
"Peter Snow, ITV. Will you be focussing on Canton Rouge first Mr. Prime Minister, or looking to rekindle the 'Special Relationship' with the SPQR?"
"Obviously the special relationship with the SPQR has always been important to us, and it will remain so. But with Canton Rogue merely 20 miles acrosss the English Channel we cannot overlook the importance of that relationship in the coming months. Right that is all. thank you for coming, goodnight"
With that P.M. Blair walked back into the cabinet office and began looking over the Intelligence notes from the day, as well as writing a reply to the Emperor of Stargate.
Dear Emperor Tojo; I thank you for your kind words, I believe that the realtionship between the Empire and her neighbours needs strengthening once again. I therefore offer a chance for a treaty negotiation between our nations in the colony of Malaya next week. Not only will it save you having to travel halfway across the world, but also allow you to see how Brittish and Asian culture blends so well in the Empire.
Yours Right Hon. Tony Blair M.P. Prime Minister of the British Empire

To Tony Blair M.P., Prime Minister of the British Empire.
We would like to congradulate you on your recent expansion into Iran. Like ourselves a while back, we see your need for new resources as an advantage. Also, with your presence there, hopefully the region may stabalize so as to not have anymore conflict. Furthermore, sometime soon, I would like both of our governments to meet to build up ties between our nations.
Yours, Marc Dentonine President of the United Provinces of Canton Rouge

Consul Cicero was pleased to find that there was at least one thing that all the Senators packed into the Roman Forum could agree on: the "Special Relationship" with the British was something worth continuing and was something that most average Roman citizens still took as amazing. Most of the current treaties between Rome and the British Empire were set to expire later in the calendar year; however, Cicero was looking to get something passed in the increasingly 'liberal' Senate sometime within term and this was a perfect opportunity to aid, not only the Senate and the People of Rome but his own legacy as well.
Soon after a motion was passed to begin discussion on the "Special Relationship" between the British and Rome and the relationship's continuation it was clear that, albeit for a few Senators (Senator Servus being the key Senator), the vast majority of the Senate wished for the relationship to continue. Sensing that he may indeed be able to pass piece of legislation in the, as Cicero put it, "Servusian Senate" the Consul immediately looked to bring up a vote on the issue. The final tally was 94 For and 6 Against...
To The Esteemed Prime Minister of Britain,
I wish to express my happiness to you and your country and I wish, on behalf of the SPQR, to wish you a prosperous future. The world has too few men such as yourself in it and there are even less nations that are as glorious and while these remarks are strong I hope you do not let them fall on the wayside, for you are no doubt aware that Romans can be some of the most critical people. Our two nations have enjoyed decades of prosperity within our "Special Relationship", as the media has put it, and I look for this trend to continue well into the future. I also wished to inform you of the renewal of several key agreements between our two countries, most notably trade agreements, and I hope that a meeting between us can be planned to hash out anything else. I look forward to meeting you in person, Mr. Blair, and may the sun never set on the British Empire.
Consul Marcus Cicero *Seal of the SPQR (Senate and People of Rome)

To Consul Marcus Cicero
I am glad that you and your Senate has taken this viewpoint. It is and always has been a great privelege for the British people to count the Romans as their friends and allies; and we hope it will remain that way for many years to come. I therefore wish to invite you to join me for talks in London looking to further our friendship and continue our 'special relationship' into the future.
Yours, Prime Minister Tony Blair -------------------------------------------- To Marc Dentonine,
Firstly allow me to congrratulate you on your recent victory in the polls, yours was a hard fought and well deserved victory. I thank you for your kind words and I too hope that we can meet to discuss the relationship between our nations. As the closest nation to the Capital of the Empire yours is a friendship we would very much like to retain, and build upon in order to keep the region peaceful for years to come.
Yours Prime Minster Tony Blair

To Prime Minister Tony Blair:
We are happy to hear of the return of moderation and reason to the tumultuous and uncivilized Middle-East, and wish to better tie the pair of our democratic nations together in the near future. With some effort, we will restore democracy and peace to this world.

"Welcome back to Sky News, here are the headlines:
"The Royal Navy has begun landing troops and aircraft in Iran as part of a new garrison of the country. The capital Tehran has been secured and the handover of power is expected to take place today with Prince Harry taking the ceremony.
"Prime Minister Blair has left London heading for Malaya and talks with Emperor Tojo of Stargate SG1. It is the begining of a whistlestop tour for the P.M. who will also be visiting the SPQR and Canton Rouge on a diplomatic tour that will look to strengthen ties between the Empires neighbours.
"Finally it has emerged today that Buckhingham Palace has offered an invitation to President Davis to have an audience with Her Majesty the Queen. It is believed that Her Majesty wants to aid the P.M. in strengthening ties with other nations. This news comes after it emerged that conflict may arise close to Imperial interests in the Far East."

"Welcome back to our live coverage of the handover of power in Iran. The representatives of the former Ayatollah, who has gone into hiding, have signed the dcuments granting rule to the British and now Prince Harry is adding the royal seal to them to make it official.
"And there we have it, as Prince Harry shakes the hand of the former deputy leader of Iran, the R.A.F. perform a flypass to mark the begining of a new age in Iran. A return to Imperial rule that guarantees the sun will never set on the British Empire."
"In other news the Prime Minister has landed in Malaya and is now awaiting the arrival of Emperor Tojo for the begining of talks between the two leaders. It is hoped that Britian will find itself another ally in the Far East, and gain approval for further moves in the Far East."

Emperor Tojo's plane landed and he disembarked the plane to see a limo waiting for him to take him to the building in which the talks would take place. It was a very comfortable ride with no interference and he took in the sights. At arrival he left the limo and entered the building.
There he was directed to the great conference room where he greeted Prime Minister.

"Yes I had a very pleasant trip here, as I am sure you did too. And Malaya is a very beautiful place and is slightly modernized, but still holds its traditional charm. Now lets get down to business. I propose that are nations have a free trade agreement that would provide both of our nations vital goods to our economies," said Emperor Tojo

"I believe you are right. Free trade between our nations would encourage further growth in the Far East, and be a boost for our economies out here. I also suggest a treaty supporting each other in further growth of our respective Empires. By setting mutual boundaries for where we can and cannot expand our nations can avoid any possible future clashes.
I am sorry to have to be so swift with these negotiations, but with the JAUST troops using our bases here as a temporary stop off point we are in somewhat more danger than I would wish to bring a fellow dignatry into.
