Today, we had eight nations die. We have at least 15 others that could go anytime within the next 5 days. On average I spend 1.5 -2 hours per day recruiting, only because I keep going round and round the feeder regions. I don't mind doing this. It's what I signed up to do, however, if other nations would help with the recruiting, we would have the opportunity recruit even more nations and to watch Hyrule continue to grow. I am asking for the help of each and every forum member not named NESS. All you need to do is take 10 -15 minutes to go out and recruit. I will post instructions on how to do this in the Ministry of Immigration. Even 5 nations/member makes a huge difference! The only thing I would ask you to do is to make sure that no one else is out recruiting in the feeders at the same time. Receiving two recruiting TG's from the same region is regarded as spamming by the mods. I will offer chocolate milk by the gallon, breeding pairs of dancing squirrels, and even breeding pairs of Tasmanyaya's national animal, the Sushiberra to all those able to help. Tasman Thanks Dundee West for suggesting this post!

Under the "Getting nations to Post on the Forum" thread, probably the wrong place to put it , you'll find the list of the nations compiled on April 5 th and what has happened to them so far. We had twelve nations die-off overnight, and one ejected because of violating UN rules. My thanks to EMC, Dundee, and Atlantico Norte who have been out and hitting the feeder regions. And always, my thanks to Ness. With these die-offs, our population is like a yo-yo: 365 yesterday, way down today, made up by some of the recruiting done. This is the reason it is so vital that as many of you as possible start hitting the feeders. Even five nations can make a huge difference! As always, prizes are available. Simply post in the "How to stop Tasman from Going Crazy" thread, (not that she has far to go...wait... heh...she's already there! I like it!) to collect! Tas

It certainly does make a difference! Particularly when we're going to lose at least 5 more nations tomorrow Thanks for all your help, folks!

It does make a huge difference. The more people involved, the greater the chance we have of continuing to help Hyrule grow. Thanks again to everyone who has been helping out !

On May 11, I compiled a new list on Nations in Jeopardy. There were 116 nations on it. Some have already died. We have the potential to lose 16 more within the next two days, and another 25 within the 4 days following that. Despite my efforts at recruiting 35-60 nations/day over the last little while, I can do nothing to stop the die-offs. The only thing that will help is if people take even 10 minutes out of their time, and go out and recruit even 10 nations from the feeders: The West Pacific, The Pacific, The North Pacific, The South Pacific and The East Pacific. The instructions on how to recruit are all available in the Mininstry of Immigration under the thread "How to stop Tasman from going Crazy". Folks, I'm down on my knees grovelling *crawls along floor begging*. We rose from 14th to 12th in the regional rankings. Let's stay there, or even go higher! I'm going to request that no one post any replies to this for a couple of days, because I would like the request to remain visible, and the image of me crawling on the ground, begging desperately, to remain in your minds! Remember, prizes are still awarded to all recruiters!

Over the last three days, we have had at least 21 nations die-off, and another 4 leave the region to set up regions of their own. The potential to lose another 10-15 nations over the next 3-4 days is there. With the exception of yesterday, I am consistently recruiting 40+ nations per day. I still can't keep up with the losses. Please, consider helping with the recruiting. One of our newest nations was even out recruiting yesterday. The instructions are all in the previous post. Consider me open to all forms of bribery...

Over the past few days, we have had very few nations enter our region, and many more die-offs. Our Recruitment Minister, Kritschboilek, I, the Delegate, and Atlantico Norte, who tries to recruit whenever he can, have put messages about recruiting in their signatures. But no one, other than these three, are helping out. I don't know why it is so hard to get people to recruit, but it just is.
Recruiting is not the most fun job in the world, but, guess what, there is something that offsets that: the fact that it IS very rewarding. If a nation you recruit comes to the region, you would be pretty happy. New nations, potentially ones that can be active, come in to our region. As Tasmanyaya said, "if other nations would help with the recruiting, we would have the opportunity recruit even more nations and to watch Hyrule continue to grow."
I am quite sure that everyone here does not want the region to die out. And I hope that everyone here knows that AN, Krits, and I don't have all the time in the world to recruit. I know everyone here can't spend the whole day recruiting... but it IS possible to recruit 10 to 20 nations in around 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how many nations are being created. And, frankly, 5 to 10 minutes is not a long time.
So, I am begging you, for the thousandth time, please help recruit!
