The nation "The Akratic mind" has been ejected for failure to comply with the Endorsement Cap Law and the accompanying warning, issued via in-game telegram, to which the individual has responded, so is evidently aware of.

This is preposterous!
Not only the freedom of election has been banned, but now deportation is conducted. What shall be next - man in long, black, leather coats coming to our homes and forcing us to drop politics of the region.
Dark times for Hyrule.

SaZ... why do you say that you don't have freedom of elections?? Do you want to propose yourself to be the Delegate? Then go ahead! If you think that you will perform better than Nessie... go ahead! IMHO... she's a very nice delegate and she will have my support for any elections for Delegate.

What shall be next - man in long, black, leather coats coming to our homes and forcing us to drop politics of the region. Dark times for Hyrule. Well, let's look at the facts: 1. The nation was only ejected. Since the revision of NationStates a few months ago, there are now two options: eject, and eject and ban. If the nation was banned, then it would say "X hours ago: X ejected and banned X from region." That means that nation is allowed to come back to Hyrule if he or she wants to. 2. The nation is allowed to appear on our message board and appeal the decision in the forums for the Chancellory of Justice. A region that was a dictatorship wouldn't do things like that, now would it?

@atlantico Norte
No, I dont have plans on starting a delagate campaign, but it doesn't mean that I shouldn't speak up against something that is an obvious destruction of democracy in Hyrule.
@ Ness Snorlaxia
Yes, the nation can come back to the region, as well as someone locked up in jail gets out on freedom eventually (if not sentenced to life or death), but it's still not an excuse for locking someone up without reason, evidence or fair trial, only for the reason he/she might put your delegate position in jeopardy.
The next step is total dictatorship, with men in black leather coats and I still think these are dark times for Hyrule.

Springfield and Zara, many regions had endorsement caps in place prior to the implementation of the new invader/defender rules. Since then, even more regions have implemented some form of an endorsement cap.
I will never argue with your right to express your opinion, but at least recognize that Hyrule is most certainly not the only region in which an endorsement cap is in place. Not by a long shot.

Well, let's imagine a situation where a certain nation decides to invade Hyrule. He/she could do it in two ways - invade together with 110 UN Nations-members who will immediately endorse him/her as an UN Delegate or to gain endorsements from the nations of Hyrule.
In the first scenario, invasion would be conducted over night and this law would have absolutety no purpose, whatsoever, and therefore is totally needless.
While the second scenario has a one word name and its called DEMOCRACY. You know, freedom of choice, where every nation in Hyrule can choose who to endorse, assuming they know that nation with most endoresments will represent them with the UN. And that's why I'm making this a big deal.
The fact is I don't really mind Ness being UN Delegate (cuz she votes according to our votes on UN Resolutions) and I really don't care bout Acratic Mind, because this is a matter of basics of democracy, which I think should be listed as an endangered specie in Hyrule.

The fact is, you fail to see the bigger picture, here. And if you cannot see it, then you will never understand it.

Perhaps I am failing to see bigger picture, but aren't you here to explain it to me? Remember, I am just a citizen, while you are the Prime Minister of Hyrule. I simply can't accept that your answer on entire issue is that I "will never understand it".
I have just scrolled through the discussion about the law and noticed one interesting thing - it seems like only one nation (besides me) had something to say about it, the rest of participants were ministers, judges and delegate herself. How's that speaking bout democracy?
And as the most interesting thing, Ness stated that "as most people have voted for this law, it is now officially a law". Well, most of what people? Members of Cabinet? Outrage.
Our PM also stated that even if this was a dictatorship, he would rather have Ness as his dictator, because she is such a lovely delegate, than having someone else who would be elected in the manners of democracy. Speaks for itself, don't ya think?
Anyways, I have started working my way to breaking a forbidden endorsement limit and, hopefully, other nations of Hyrule will endorse me, helping Ness (and cabinet members) that I am one nasty invader, so she could carry out needed measures and save the Hyrule from damnation.

Maybe before you should check on the The East Pacific Forum to see they're law about endorsments...
And for your plan on getting endorsments... if you were there... this law would be applied to you
"Endorsement Swapping
7. (1) Offering to endorse another nation on the proviso of their reciprocating that endorsement upon you shall be considered endorsement swapping.
(2) Any person found to be endorsement swapping is guilty of an indictable offence and is liable to be banned from the East Pacific for life.
(3) Where a prosecution occurs under this section, the court shall in sentencing accept as a mitigating factor ignorance of the unlawful status of endorsement swapping should it be satisfied that the defendant had no intention of unlawfully gaining the position of Delegate, or aiding or abetting an attempt to unlawfully gain the position of Delegate, and shall moderate its sentence at the court's discretion."
So if you think that Hyrule is bad regarding Endo Limits... you should visit The East Pacific for a while.

I think S & Z raises some interesting points and needn't be dismissed out-of-hand like he's some sort of worthless retarded peon.
While I understand the intentions of this law and I have no strong feelings against it, I think there could be a better balance between allowing people to endorse whomever they damn well please, but also limiting the risks of insidious takeovers.
For example, the issue of endorsement-swapping seems to be a more clear-cut means of underhandedly accumulating endorsements without actually earning them. Perhaps there should be a law focusing more specifically on that.
And if someone does acquire a certain threshhold of endorsements, why not put the issue to the people rather than punishing the offender? If that many people have endorsed a particular nation, then perhaps that nation has earned the right to challenge the delegacy for leadership. Now, as long as Ness is in charge I believe there's nothing to fear in this regard, as no one could ever fill her shoes! But it still may be a more fair way of arranging things. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I probably am.)
I would also like to support more strongly another issue that S&Z raised, and that's the fact that many important decisions affecting the whole region seem to be decided under the guise of democratic vote, but in reality it's only a vote among a handful of cabinet members. Perhaps the especially important or contentious issues should be put to the people at large in a referendum.
Just my 2 cent.
