As my opponent is running a smear campaign against me, claiming I am using my position to bring back my Imperial status I feel that I must post a manifesto.
I should point out a few reasons why I should continue my tenure as MoRP:
1. We have got a stable and balanced system running where everyone gets along just fine.
2. Gone are the days of Jedi, Space Travel and Elves, allowing everyone to post with a sense of equality and realism.
3. I have brought the forums back from the dead, this time last year no posts were being made, now new ones are popping up all the time.
4. It is only recently that I have been more mod-like, but I was only doing this to allow the continued enjoyment in the RP forum, while maintaining the rules and guidelines everyone has agreed to.
5. If you dont vote for me I'll nuke you all MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ahem.....
Yes the nuke issue. This is something I feel needs to be addressed, and soon. Im sure you can see where I'm coming from with this; if everyone just threatens each other with nuclear weapons then the RP will never really get anywhere. Now I have a few ideas as to how to deal with this issue and here they are:
1. Ban them altogether, not popular I know, but its gotta be put out there.
2. Start from scratch with them. Every nation has to re-develop their nuclear arsenal from the preliminary testing stages.
3. Put a cap on the numbers, a la the START treaty.
4. Say that only when your pop reaches 500 mil can you start developing nukes, meaning that not every little nation has them. After all only the U.S., the U.K., India, Russia, China, France, Israel, North Korea (kind of) and Pakistan have nukes. So 8 nations out of roughly 194 in the world have them. Personally this is my current fave idea.
So I ask you, when you go to the polls in a few days time, remember what I have done for this region and what I still can do, and with your help together we can help the RP forum continue to grow and remain one of the most popular sections of this great region of Hyrule.
VOTE REDCOAT.................
Or in other words, vote for me, for a better future of RP.
