New member regions
00000 A World Power, Lichentia, Cingeta, and The Rejected Realms have been welcomed into the FRA, as the organisation continues to grow. There are now 13 member regions, almost double the 7 regions that made up the organisation in June. All of the votes on admisson were unanimous.
Charter Changes
A change has been made to the FRA Charter, to introduce the position of Speaker of the Regional Assembly. The aim of introducing the position was to assist in the running of the Assembly, and to increase its activity. The roles of the Speaker are:
7.i) The Speaker of the Assembly shall be responsible for the moderation of discussion in the Regional and Independent Assemblies, respectively.
7.ii) The Speaker of the Assembly shall be responsible for bringing amendments to the Charter and other matters worth the attention of the Assembly to debate and vote in front of the Regional Assembly.
7.iii) The Speaker of the Assembly shall be responsible for overseeing the acceptance and expulsion of regions into/from the Founderless Region Alliance.
7.iv) The Speaker of the Assembly shall be responsible for maintaining activity within the Regional Assembly and recommending dismissal of inactive Assembly members to the Arch Chancellor.

COFR Treaty[/u]
An alliance treaty with the Confederacy of Free Regions has been passed by the Regional Assembly. However, the alliance has to be signed by the Arch Chancellor and Foreign Minister, and the latter (Big Killer Babys) voted against the treaty, so it is yet to be seen whether he will agree to sign it.
Defending[/u]
The FRA continues to defend the sovereignty of Founderless Regions, and its Rangers have been seen in action in Beer, Duck Goes Quack, and The Fountainhead.
Other news[/u]
Northern Chittowa has re-ignited rumours about his sexuality, by experssing his disappointment that Klopstock is not homosexual. Background to the story can be found at the FRA News Blog. However, the editor would like to make clear that NC
Democracy is considering re-founding, and has requested asistance in this from the FRA.
Thanks for reading. Another update will be on its way soon.
