Once, long ago the lands of Aurope were at war, the petty kingdoms fighting each other, in constant pursuit of land, honour and wealth. To the East lay the Artak Nomads and the great Silicid Empires, to the West a Great sea, to the north the Untamed Marks of the northmen and to the south there was desert, and here flourish, on the edge of the known world, a Kingdom called Emrika.
Tang
Southernmost City of Emrika
Kal sat in the watchtower, gazing into the south, when he saw a vast cloud envelope the ground on the horizon.
"Pha'Koril! Pha'Koril! It seems a sandstorm approaches!" Yelled Kal, leaning on his bow.
"That is no sandstorm Kal! Something comes! It looks to be an army! Run and warn the Phalas!"
With that Kal ran to the home of the PHalas, leader of Tang.
"Phalas Kral, an army approaches out of the desert, or so says Pha'Koril!"
"Ready the defences, hurry, I feared that the reports may be true, hurry boy!"
Kal ran mustering the troops, and men rushed everywhere readying the defences for the oncoming assault.
"We can't hold them can we?"
Lord Faltion looked at the cloud approach. "Come Telecon, we must ride!" He gathered his thick red cloak about him and mounted a horse, a similarly dressed man followed suit. "We must warn the king!"
With that they rode out into the savanna to the north, they only stopped to gather an escort to accompany them to the Capital.
"Anyone who wishes to serve us as an escort to the Capital step forward and with haste, we have need of strong hands!"
