Press Conference Delegates Mansion, Forest Island.
Maximilian Warwick walked to the pressroom with his guards in tow, knowing that his regional political career was dead. Since the regional public found out about his past during the Newberry Massacre. He knew he blindly looked the other way when Mozilla murdered 30,000 Thunderbirdnese in the, now former, port city of Newberry while he was High Chancellor of South Malaysia nearly three decades earlier. He knows and his fellow people know plus understood why he had to do that because South Malaysia was in such internal turmoil at the time.
He walked through the, already open side door, and walked behind his press secretary Mya McLeod who was briefing the press. “At this time I would like to turn this over to Delegate Warwick who would like to make an announcement,” McLeod said and turn back, gave him a slight smile, and moved away from the podium.
“As you all know about the Newberry Massacre that happened nearly three decades ago in the South Malaysian territory of Mozilla Thunderbird when I was High Chancellor. I have thought about the past two weeks as that information became ever so public, and rumors have became abundant on the said issue. I have decided to turn in my resignation as Delegate of Hyrule effective on the 14th of this month and return to my home country and continue my political career there. I will take any questions you may have,” Warwick said to a room with reporters ready to jump out of there seats
He pointed to the South Malaysian Loretta Nu of SMCNN, “Miss. Nu first.”
“Thank you Mr. Delegate. Why does South Malaysia not send another person to take your place temporally and run for the elections? South Malaysia is clearly not going to be allowed on the Regional Security Council, perhaps as a observer nation.
Warwick smiled at the young reporter, “I have talked this over with High Chancellor Marshall, Councillors Beck, McVann, and Bacco; we all feel this is the right action. South Malaysia would like to help in other ways for the future.
Warwick was about to call on someone else, Miss. Nu interrupted, “I have one last question, if you don’t mind?” He looked at her and shook his head in the ‘yes’ jester.
“SMCNN has had anonymous reports from an unknown source that you are at high risk of assassination and have had threats…can you confirm this?
Letting out a small laugh Warwick responded, “As any other high ranking current, or former government official, we always have that possible assassination risk."
“So you are not going to confirm or deny that you are receiving threats of assassination?” asked Miss. Nu
“I will not confirm or deny anything for security purposes, next question please,” he said pointing at a random reporter, who he was not familiar with.

1977 Flashback Newberry, Mozilla Thunderbird, Thunderbird State
A man sneaks through the darkness to get to his family and finds his fellow people and friends all on the ground, dead of plasma gun shots to the head, or more painful means.
He turns the corner, the street where his family lives, and sees the unthinkable. His wife and seven children, mostly adopted orphans, all standing on the street with…Mozilla State officers putting them on there knees.
After a minuet or two they all fired on them, and they didn’t kill them, they started to scream in horrific pain, then the officers started stabbing them with large knives.
‘Innocent children!’ He thought. ‘My innocent children and beloved wife! Where is our protector?! Where is High Chancellor Warwick’s troops?!’ The Mozzilians left after they made sure they where all gone. He walked to the bodies of his family and broke down to the ground and spoke out loud sobbing words of revenge...

Delegates MansionPrivate OfficeMaximilian Warwick was busy, setting at his desk, getting his speech together for his last House of Members secession before his resignation became effective and he left for South Malaysia, and his personal aid walked in, “Hey, Max, you know that you have about 15 minute before you got to leave, right?” said Greg Mason. Looking up at the time then at Greg, “Yes I am quite aware of the time…did you hear that Max Jr. was going to run against Josh?” “Yep, hard to believe that he is following in the steps of his father,” Greg said with a grin “Yes, yes, yes, I get your point; not many people of the same family end up trying for High Chancellor. South Malaysia has changed, people like Max Jr. are just what South Malaysia and Hyrule need.” Max said while gathering his things and getting up out of his seat. “I cant wait to get off this island back to South Malaysia…assassination is a scary thing to have on your back.” “Yes, and today will move smoothly; I’m quite sure. I will go get the car ready, and you better be right down…you know the HoM representatives can be vicious,” Greg said and left the room. Max walked around his desk with his things, taking once last look at his office, then turned and faced the door then spoke to himself, “Today will be my last…today will be my day of entrance into the Great Hall of Light…” he left the room not turning back. House of MembersEntrance StepsMaximilian Warwick made his way up the steps with his body guards and press in tow, sensing the whole time of the poor soul that would kill him at any moment, but sadly telepathy between your own species wasn’t useable in law, and he knew his fate was this. He looked ahead and seen the man that was in his path, he had in fact came out of nowhere, pulled out a phaser, then pointed it at Maximilian. At that second time stood still for what seemed like for ever as the phaser went off, hitting Maximilian in the chest. As he feel, his guards had shot the man with there own phasers. They turned to help Max, but it was too late, because the phaser that had shot him, wounded him beyond help. Maximilian’s last thoughts where of his wife and son; the last thing he heard was the sounds of people shouting, alarms going off, and what sounded like people crying. His first sight was him walking there the Great Hall of Light, seeing passed friends and family…then Ux-Mal and Enara setting in there thrones welcoming him to his next stage of living. Emergency Special Session of the House of Members“This is the first Delegate of Hyrule in it’s history to have been assassinated on the steps of the House of Members. The family of Mr. Warwick has been informed, and are en route for the journey of his body in the state funerals. He will have a state funeral here in Forest Island, for his services for Hyrule. Then his body will travel to his homeland for one there. Since elections are going on now for his replacement, I will be serving his duties until then.” said the Deputy Delegate, Sally Lee-Davis, to a very uneasy group of representatives. I can take any question on the funeral arrangements for the services here, are there any?” The Mozillia Thunderbird representative pressed his light button so that he could be recognized to speak on the floor “The floor recognized the representative of Mozilla Thunderbird to speak; you do not have to walk down here,” said Lee-Davis “May I as where the main ceremony will be at?” said the Mozilla Thunderbird representative “The main ceremony will be here and will be relatively small compared to the South Malaysian one; parade down the main boulevard from the Delegates Mansion to the House of Members where he will lay and people can come and pay there respects for 16 hours then HoM reps and invited guest will be able to speak in a closed ceremony. From there he will take a route to the airport and be loaded onto a East Malaysian shuttle to Union Isle; that is it for Regional ceremonies. Are there any more question on anything besides the ceremony?

Hyrule News Desk Network
A female reported was giving her news report to a live newscast,
"The funeral precision went very well and the Regional State Funeral is about to began, which will be filmed; there will be a few guest speakers, first off it will be the Founder, and as you can see from the camera that the casket has more than one flag draped over it, and some people may not recognize a few; we will name them in order:
Starting on the right is the East Malaysian flag, South Malaysian flag, a flag with two seals on it being the South Malaysian Grand Seal of the High Chancellor with the Great Seal of the Empress of East Malaysia next to it, lastly the Hyrule flag.
Delegate Maximilian Warwick only served as delegate for a very short term, but before that he was Chancellor of Justice and before the Regional government restructure he was Minister of Affairs, which covered very much. He ran many times for Chancellor, but he got higher than that; he became Delegate of the Region.
He was only 51 years of age when he was shot dead on the steps of this building; the effects have been felt all over the region with the Deputy Delegate in control and keeping a grip on the heated elections for a new delegate. South Malaysia is the hardest hit in the region, and we are unsure if anyone from there will speak, but rumors have said that the other woman of power in this room today is Empress Glendale Jung, of East Malaysia; she will be speaking because she actually knew Maximilian Warwick from their Ambassador days.
Now since it is about time for it to start, we must be quiet and watch the speakers speak."

A strong looking woman came out of the security council section, and immediately everyone quieted down and seated for, Sheena Tawastjerna was the pride, beauty, and power of the region. In the whole room she and only another woman leader where known for that in the same room. She moved swiftly to the speakers podium then got right down to business and began to speak.
“Theses last couple of days have been hard on everyone. I have worked close with Maximilian, or Max as everyone personally called him. Max was a very kind man, you would think he couldn’t hurt a fly, but he had a very strong side that he wasn’t scared to face challenges. I had no idea on how bad South Malaysia use to be, until he told me the story of Newberry. Not many people know the true story of that time of conflicts within that nation, and the non-South Malaysian news agencies make it seem like Max was the true evil.
In reality that is surely not the case. He had two options and he could only pick one. They where, save the people of Newberry, or save the nation. He of course used the old saying, “the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few or the one,” and went on to save South Malaysia.
One day I went on to ask him, “How? How could you live with that? Knowing so many people where murdered?” He simply replied with a confident look, “Sheena not a day goes by with out my knowing that, but if you where in my shoes you would do the same thing.” Of course, me being a woman, I just had to disagree and I swore up and down that I would never do the same thing…less than a week later I was apologizing literally on my knees in his office just a few rooms over.” She paused and looked around.
A few people let out a laugh at the though of her doing that, and reporters where writing like there was no tomorrow. In a special area set up for Max’s family and there invited guest you could see his wife and son. His son was being Ms. Warwick’s support in her time of hardship.
Sheena looked around knowing that she was going to regret that in the papers after this, but it was worth it for her friend, “People will remember Max for many things during his political career, but with all that, this is how he should also be remembered. A strong man that was wise on his decisions, and wasn’t scared to tell you what he thought, because nine times out of ten you would be back and on your knees begging; just like me. He was wrong on some things, but when it came to that he would admit that he was wrong, but he’d still say he was right...
And I though I had that problem, but I swear I have never seen a man be like that in my life,” then she directed a statement to Ms. Warwick, “personally Ms. Warwick, I don’t know how you lived with that man, but how ever you did it, I am so very glad and respect you. Without you, I don’t think we would have gotten such a great leader. He was mighty lucky to have someone like you, because to deal with that man you have to have guts, and very strong ones at that. Thank you.”
Ms. Warwick, smiled and nodded. Sheena walked from the podium to Ms. Warwick and gave her a hug of support and then sat on the opposite side of her from her son on the right.
The next speaker stood and went to the podium, this time is was Empress Glendale Jung.

[OOC:] I hate to break this to you guys, but I in fact wrote that for Ness to post for me…sorry…don’t killeth me. XD
Empress Jung wasted no time in getting up to the podium to speak, and pretty much started off right away.
“Fifteen years ago, I meet a man by the name of: Maximilian Warwick. At the annual Dutch Gap Conference. I then was just promoted to Assistant Ambassador of a much different East Malaysia. I liked his attitude that day he was a guest speaker on diplomacy for a group of ambassadors-to-be students, and from that point on I got him to come to it as a guest speaker; this last time he was busy here in Hyrule and could not attend. I am sadden that I will no longer be able to hear him give a great speech, but I am grateful to been able to hear his last in East Malaysia when we where in unification talks a few months ago. And I must quote this one part:
“…I do not stand here as a representative of South Malaysia or East Malaysia; I stand here before you today as a Malaysian. I am not scared to face the challenges of uniting us together again. I will not stand down in my efforts until the day we stand together. Not as a separate people, but together united as one…”
Jung took a breath and continued
“Max was very brave to say anything like that, especially, since unification was considered a taboo, but Max surely stomped that out. He was very open minded to the thought and inspired everyone to see where he was coming from. Thanks to Max, East and South Malaysia now work together as easy as East Malaysia does with our colonies.
Without his words of wisdom and his integrity a lot of things would be different now, and I am sure of that. I feel obligated to reuse some of his words as my own as I end this.
I do not stand here as a representative of East or South Malaysia. I do not stand here as Empress of an Empire. I do not stand here out of pity respect. I do stand here in front of you as a friend of Max’s; I stand here in honor of a great man.”
Jung’s last words had an unexpected effect, that she didn’t think would happen, everyone in the room stood up and clapped; not for her, but for Max. She left the podium and went to his casket and laid a medal on it, then made a small prayer. She laid the highest medal of achievement, The Empress Medal of Honor. She went back to her seat and sat down near Ms. Warwick.

Federated City News Broadcast - Kyya News/KFTA *Intro music and graphic* “Good day, I’m Katy Monroe-Banks, with Kyya News.” “As requested by the Warwick family, we and other news networks where not allowed to tape the casket leaving the House of Members, and it’s arrival in Federated City is in about 15 minuets time. Until then I will have some of the national and international news.” “Today, South Malaysia left the United Nations, and will be absent in representation at the House of Members for the next session. As news of the UN withdraw hit the networks, the Anti-UN Party merged with the Federated Liberty Alliance, and Mozilla Thunderbird applied for separate UN membership. United Nations West Airways, has formally decided to change the company name to: Federation West Airways. The company’s CEO, Ralph Winston, cited that, “The United Nations [General Assembly] has violated many national rights of sovereign countries, and their name disgraces this company image.”” “In East Malaysia, it has been reported that Former Empress Amanda Bishop, has come down with cancer, but will continue her duties and is on medications; Ms. Bishop is 79 years old.” “A new report from the Talvory Institute of Psychology, has been published on the PADDnet at PADD.TIPEDU, World Wide Web at WWW.TIPEDU.SM, and World Wide Transceiver at WWT.TIPEDU. The reports states the emotional differences between the Malaysian groups. North Malaysians are emotionally shy; East Malaysians are rich in emotions; South Malaysians are emotionally calm; West Malaysians are emotionally unstable. If you would like to read more on each, please visit the links I stated before.” The reporter put her hand up to her ear piece to hear her producer “At this time, High Chancellors Maximilian Warwick shuttle has landed and they have already moved him to the General Legislature. The reason things are moving so fast is that he requested to be laid to rest at sunset in a private family funeral after the State Funeral. The GL will be a very full place with every current councillors, and former councillors attending, regional and international leaders or there select representatives, plus invited guest. For national, interregional, and international security reasons no live broadcast, but will be taped for later viewing today. The reason it was allowed at the Regional State Funeral is because it is not as populated as Federated City.” “We are going to go to our special program secluded next; Maximilian Warwick: The Life of a Fallen Leader. Thank you for watching, I’m Katy Monroe-Banks signing off.”
