The people of the western part of the sugarcane-growing island of Sorgen are considered Olinggos because they too speak Olinggo.
The Ubecians are considered the dominant group since the Federation capital is located in Ubec Island and are the most numerous in the federation. the people of eastern Sorgen are also Ubecian. Ubec city is the political, economic and cultural center of the Federation. It is the largest port and only by Olioli City comes close to its cosmopolitanism.
