History of Spain
Spain has a long cultered history full of many events. The first occuring long ago with the Iberian peoples being a part of the Roman Empire. This was mainly during the Second Punic War, in which the Roman Empire controlled much of the Iberian Peninsula which is current day Spain.
After the Second Punic War, muslum invaders conquered the lands previously ruled by the Romans. These Berber Muslums converted many of the people to Islam, but did allow for the people to keep their beleif of Christianity.
Shortly after the Muslum Rule, Spain had its "Reconquista" where it reclaimed its independance and formed Imperial Spain. This is when Spain began to colonize many lands in the America's. Spain had to release its hold on many of these lands, as rebellion occured, and the neighboring empires of Spain went to war against Spain.
After this imperial rule, Spain eveolved into a democracy, but it quickly failed as the Roman Empire rose again and the Iberian Peoples hastily rejioned the Empire. The Empire provided lots of protection and allowed the Nation to florish in these modern days. Spain is still a part of the Roman Empire, however many talks of rebellion have begun to be heard.
