JOOLSDOM TRIUMPH IN PENALY SHOOTOUTJoolsdom Forest have become the first team to win the UKFA Cup after beating Racing Club de Betelgeuse XII in a penalty shootout in the final. Unfortunately nobody at Joolsdom could be reached for comment but we are sure they are over the moon with the result. DR MEPHISTO UNVEILED AS NEW SHAWDOM MANAGERDr Mephisto was paraded as the new Shawdom International manager at a press conference yesterday. The appointment did not come as a surprise to fans since it was leaked that the only applications the Shawdom FA received were from the manager they had just sacked, and Mephisto. It is certain that potential managers were probably put off by Shawdom’s reputation of sacking first and asking questions later. The following is an interview given just before the press conference: Interveiwer: Hi Dr Mephisto ! It is a great honour to meet you at last. After all the hype you seem quite normal, if you don’t mind me saying so. Dr. Mephesto: Well yes, I have no intention of making any more clones and I will concentrate on getting Shawdom more famous in the footballing world. Interveiwer: Indeed. Was it hard for you to leave you former post? Dr. Mephesto: It was and it wasn’t. I loved my job but we were the same as Shawdom. I think it was best to move on and feel that we have a chance to qualify for the UKFA interregional tournament next season and hope to improve as the job goes on. Dr Mephisto and a little guy named Kevin at the UKFA Press Centre BRIGHTONBURGIANS ARRESTED AFTER POLICE STINGWe understand that the Police sting we reported earlier was a success, and that Police have made several arrests. The arrestees’ names have yet been released, but we understand that they are from Brightonburg, and not Joolsdom. We will endeavour to keep you updated as the story unfolds. An undercover Policeman attempts to infiltrate the group

JOOLSDOM RECOVER FROM PARTY, PARADE TROPHYJoolsdom Forest have recovered from what manager Alex Meles described as “a minor bender” to parade their UKFA Cup through the streets of Joolsdom. When asked about the win, Meles said: “The Badgers are over-the-moon with this victory. I would like to thank all our fans for the disciplined way they conducted themselves throughout the Championship and a special thanks to GMPV for sponsoring the event, without which our performance may not have been so outstanding. “My commiserations go to RC Betelgeuse who played exceptionally well during the final. We look forward to defending our title next year.” RACING CLUB MANAGER MAKES RARE PUBLIC APPEARANCERacing Club de Betelgeuse XII’s reclusive manager, a Krikkiter known only as ‘CAT5’, gave a short television interview earlier congratulating Joolsdom Forest on their penalties victory in the UKFA Cup final. The Krikkiter was defiant however as he vowed that his team would improve their form and that they would retain the UKFA Premier League title that they won last spring. The new season is already getting underway with preseason friendlies being scheduled, and all registered teams are encouraged to arrange friendlies with willing teams. POLICE REMAIN TIGHT-LIPPED ABOUT KIDNAP INVESTIGATIONPolice are not giving much away about their ongoing investigation into the disappearance of the Holdawas Hotspurs’ manager, but they did attempt to appease the press by releasing some more images of the sting operation they carried out several days ago. They did reveal, however, that they are investigating a link to the Brightonburgian Mafia, and possibly the Brightonburg Royal Family itself. Analysts have remarked on the fact that Prince George of Brightonburg was sent into near-exile soon after the incident, and suspicions are growing of a coverup. A Police camouflage expert attempts to blend into his surroundings moments before the sting
