Hey-I was bored and was thinking of ways to spice up the RP. I thought of an old comp game that I loved, Red Alert. Would anyone be interested on doing a turn based game "RP" with the Red Alert Theme/Style to it? The way it would work (Obvisusly this is just the basics for now, ill put more thought once/if interest is shown) would be each nation, judging by its population, would get a certain area of land according to this map. Then, each nation will have a certain budget, according to their population as well, and be able to buy units and buildings, after selecting their side. (Soviet or Allied) Then, like once a week or something, I would roll dice or use a rendum number generator, and have people "Attack" other people and kill their units and buildings. People would have t have certain buildings to buy units and certain units would only be abe to kill certain things..... It seems really complicated, but If I put more thought into it I think I can make it work. I just wanna see if anyone would be interested in doing anything like this....

Hmmmm. Sounds like Risk. But Red Alert was and stil is a great and fun game. I still play it. (I call Russia)
Also if we used RA2 vehicles that would be sick. Like the apocalypse, the chronoguy and the mirage tank.....*me rambling*

It may take me a few weeks or a month to figure out how all of this will work, but I'll start trying to get it together. This would be something that we could start with a few people, and then even the new guys that join the region could come in later... I'm going to do it like an actual turn-based game, so about once a week ill calculate attacks loss's/gains, ect ect ect... now time for the figuring out!!

Here is the Map. I have already claimed plot M1, M2, and M3 in a red backround. Go ahead and claim your plot for this. You get one plot for every billion people, and get to round up, if you have .5billion people or more, only for the start.

I also have a few questions that I would like to know if you guys are willing to do.
1. I would like to be able to have "allies" in this. Not the Allied units, but an alliance. I am making it so you can only attack twice in a row, so what the alliance would do, would allow you to defend your ally, with however many troops you wanted to send. but, should you send them away, and then get attacked, you have less of a defense.
2. Because I want to eventually have a lot of people doing this, I was thinking of having Factions within the Allied and Soviet teams. That way, the soviets would fight the soviets and the Allies would fight the allies. This would also make it so that less people would be on the same team.
3. Would you rather it just be a free for all, becase i am making this too complicated, and it would be easier to just duke it out with everyone.
4. Should I make everyone PM me with their attack and defend decisions and what factions they are in, so that it makes it a little harder for people to know. I would tell each faction who is in the faction though...

Well, Canton Rouge, you are supposed to do this here for now. Can you please edit your post to include a backround color as well please....
I would really like to see if I can get my own subsection like the Hyrulean Champions league, that way I can have my own area to keep this thing organized...

Command and Conquer Red Alert Game RP Rules
-Each nation will receive 1 plot of land for every1 billion people in their Nation states nation.
-Then, each nation will gain x amount of money, depending on a random number generator. 1=1000 2=2000 Ect ect all the way to 5=5000 A Turn will consist of these possibilities, on a 20 Sided die
-You gain 1 plot of land (1-3)
-You lose 1 plot of land, unless you only control 1 plot (3-13)
-You gain 5 Medium (Allied) or Heavy Tanks (Soviet) tanks (13-15)
-You gain 5 Rifle infantry (15-18)
-You gain an ore truck (For each ore truck you control you receive an extra 200 Units of money) (18-20)
Then, for each turn, people will use their money to buy what they want. They must have the pre-requisite building in order to construct the more advanced units or buildings. The way the game will work is like this. Please bear with me as I cannot think of hw to write it out other than this.
-Each person will decide if they want to attack and who, or if they want to defend. If you defend, you use all of your units no matter what. If you attack, you must state with what units and what plot.
-If two people say they want to attack each other, then the attack will happen at a neutral site, and no buildings will be involved for their defend hit points value.
- If someone wants to defend, and they are attacked, then they will be able to use their units, plus their buildings in order to deal hit points. If you choose to defend, and no one chooses to attack you, then you get off free!!
-The way the damage will be calculated is this…I will total the damage Hit points for each person/team, and then subtract them from both sides. This means that I am simulating the attack as if everyone lined up and then fired all at the same time, and then went home because that’s the only way for me to be able to do it. Any extra damage will go to the enemies most expansive building.
-The way that the damage will occur will be with the weakest/ less expensive unit first. So For Example, with that said, your infantry will die off, then your tank, then your Mammoth tank
-At the end of each turn, every unit will go back to 100% full health, but the buildings will not. This will cause people to actually be able to kill the buildings off if they can get to them more than once.
-A new plot of land will cost 2000 Units of money, the only other way to gain a new plot is if you kill an enemy building-then you get another plot of land for each building destroyed.
-Infantry can move up to 5 units, tanks or other vehicles can move up to 10 units and airplanes/helicopters can move 25 units. A Plot of land is worth 1 Unit, and a plot of water is worth 4 units.
-If someone takes control of all of the same lettered plots during the game, they will gain an extra cash bonus. The Bonus is an extra 5000 Units of money at the end of every turn.
-People cannot attack more than 2 times in a row
