ok now i want to organize all of this i look at this place and it seams kind of disorganized and i want to improve how we go about waging war and determining our armament.
I sent this pm to the rp master but he never responded to me so i am bringing it to all of you. yea i am circumventing power but sometimes you need to. i was planing that we use sites that show our nation stats to determine how much we can spend on the military as well as what you can buy.
each item like planes ships rockets space pads tanks troop sizes will each have a base price listed to them. there will also be an upkeep price at the end of each term as well as a disposal cost. there will also be a discount price for specializations of the different countrys. there will also be a term for building and price for each term of building especially on big projects. upkeep costs will be different per term if say an item 10 terms old would be more expensive than an item 1 term old
we would each then have to convert our money to US dollars and purchase each of the different items. We would have to keep track of them as we use them up in wars. At the end of the term you would have to pay all the upkeep costs on the items you have as well as term costs on building projects. or disposal if you plan to remove the item from your inventory. if you guys agree i will go about creating the spreadsheet for all the items and send it for someone to post
I was thinking that the terms should be about a month so i will have it ready by the first of july if you guys like my idea

OOC: Why be here then? Why not just join Cybernations? Sure, there may be things that we can work on, but I like our current system just fine...

ooc: I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way... but this is taking rp too far... and the main issue is how do we determine our nation's worth? And if our nation is poor or doesn't have enough resources we just can't defend, command a offensive or retaliate attacks? No, like Porcu said I like the way the "Founders" have set the rules.

OOC: I agree with Archon. RP is just meant to be fun, not really all that organized. We already have rules on how to have our military numbers and how to balance it all out.

While I like being called RP Master instead of minister, you could learn from Piekrom in some ways guys , I did reply saying I, A) Did not understand what he said and asked him to re-write what he said so I could and B) didnt much see the point. So with that said, Piekrom; you are lying to the guys about this and trying to circumvent my power 2 strikes. Oh and this is in the wrong forum, see we are organised in some ways.....Consider it moved and yourself warned. Damn I hate doing that.......

well i am still not used to finding everything in this huge forum so i just generally posted and i did not get your reply in pm i sent you a pm so i expected a pm back. scratch that it came but after i posted this forum. and you do not have to come up with the prices i will hopefully. for those of you worried about defensive mesers for weaker countries build alliances. we can also add say a cost per 100 miles to attack for each unit does that help a little bit. here is the site to see your nations stats nsdossier.texasregion.net/

Like I said before, I believe that our current way of conducting war and international relations is just fine. Keeping this in mind, I stand completely against this move...

I have no time to be doing all those calculations with school and junk. I like our way of war-fighting.

the only calculations will be adding it all up which you can do with excel very easily. in fact i would be writing it in excel all you would need to do is plug and it will chug.

No thanks, gents.. I like having a 'real' life, and whatever little RP I do on the forum these days happens to be quite organized.. Thank you.. Of course, for one to truly 'get' RP in this area, you'd have to have some semblence of writing skill and a look at our RP rules. Hyrule is indeed a somewhat large forum, but thankfully, thanks to some very smart people, all boards have convenient 'labels' attached to them giving a small summary of what goes on in the area. I, for one, find it very helpful.. Secondly, Role-Play within Hyrule is moreso of collaborated writing between two or more people rather than a true competition, and asking us all to sacrifice our enjoyment for the sake of in-game mechanics is something I have neither the time or interest or doing. There's more to RP than war, and RP does not revolve solely on war in this region. So, yes, I do like our brand of RP and absolutely refuse to follow any so-called mechanics into our system. RP is organized here in Hyrule, and perhaps you should read further into our storylines and stuff before attempting to 'reorganize' our ways.
