The East Pacific is currently comprised of 5622 nations, and the Stabilizing Force of 1 Infinite Loop has served the region as Delegate for 577 days.
The 3rd Magisterial Assembly is finally enjoying home-cooking for a short-while after the passage and assent by the Delegate of the Revised Endorsement Restriction Act, designed to help promote security in the region. For further details, please see:
Next on the agenda are the revisions to the Role-Play Legislation Act.
For all of you hockey fans out there, I'm afraid that you'll simply have to make due with the Stanley Cup. The 4th EPHC is over, with Coocoostan defeating Kelssek in the nailbiting 2 -1 final. Shots rained fast and furiously at the goalies, with Coocoostan slamming 29 shots at the net, and Kelssek, 31. The semi-finals saw Xiopothos make a strong comeback against Packilvania including the scoreline in the last minute of regulation time with the goalie pulled. Final score: Xiopothos 3, Pack 2. A terrific effort was made by all teams participating, and thanks go out to Xiopothos for hosting the championships this year in the newly constructed facilities.
Half of the travelling Shiro students are getting ready to head for Dovakhan. One of the group appears to be in jail, and no, we don't yet know why, another has gone missing after going for a walk, and it appears that the three Dannistrian students have all been drafted to head to Tyrsis Imperium to take part in Peacekeeping Operations that have been ongoing for some time.
Dannistaan has opened a new thread entitled "Day in the Life of...An RP fro the slightly more mundane". A terrific idea, and I hope it encourages many of the new nations, along with the old timers to simply jump in and take the plunge.
In Declaration of Independence, Packilvania (you remember Packilvania...think "Resistance is Futile") has now set up a blockade around Free Pacific States (FPS). Gnidrah has sent robots to help quell the civil disturbances and Kangarawan planes well within FPS airspace triggered a split second response from the Pack to send up fighters. This brought the EP almost to the brink of war yet again as the fighters moved into EP airspace, and then the Gnidrahan warships attempted to bluff their way through the blockade. One flight from Kelssek is still in dire straits. For more information, see the posts starting with Pack's post regarding the blockade at :
Well, that's it for this week from the East Pacific. To keep abreast of what's going on until my next report, kick off your shoes, put up your feet and take a gander at the East Pacific News Services at
As always, feel free to post questions and/or comments and I'll do my best to answer them. Take care! :waves:
