Preliminary CommentDuring the last months, The East Pacific has experienced some shocks which have thrown it into a deep slumber. We won’t say the forum has
frozen, because some of its branches have continued to work… but it would be silly to deny our activity has lowered.
Unfortunately, because of a number of circumstances, such decrease has hit the Foreign Department above anything else. That’s the main reason of our prolonged silence. A lot of things can be said: this is a game, RL comes first, things happen… but we won’t say any of that.
The East Pacific
is a feeder. Whatever happens, we
have to be strong enough to react. We owe it to the game. We owe it to those region we have diplomatic relations with. Therefore, we apologize to you all.
However, apologizing or not… we’re back. And we’ll do our best to be sure such a thing will not happen again. Therefore… back to action! The update you were
craving for…
GovernmentNS-wise, the Government of TEP has experienced a quiet time, as no major events have verified. At the time of this update, we’ve broken the ceiling of 4.000 nations, all of them being completely safe under the wise guidance of our standing
Delegate Gnidrah, who has abundantly passed his 500th day of Delegacy… and he still hasn’t a single grey hair!!!
Region-wise, we can say we’ve a brand-new Government, as almost each chair has changed its occupant. The 5th Magisterial Assembly has reached the end of its term, and first-round elections have been held to replace its members: congratulations to
Dannistaan, Emperor Matthuis and Kelssek for their appointment. Special congratulations to the latter, who has been chosen as TEP new Consul.
Esteemed TEPer
Dovakhan has been appointed Ambassador General… and he’s the one who should be complimented for the revamping of the Foreign Department: under his
whip leadership, former Ambassadors have waken up from their slumber and they’re… (*yawns*) active once again to
pester update you.
As per the other branches of the Government,
Reziel has been removed from his position of Solicitor General to occupy the seat of Attorney general. A promotion which has not eliminated his complaints about not being paid well enough… but that’s a problem of the Delegacy, no?
Finally, our sincerest congratulations to
Drakkengaard who, despite being a newbie, has been appointed deputy UN Liaison in order to help Emperor Matthuis with the office.
UN ResolutionsWe
honestly would like to be able to update you on this, but it has been such a long slumber that we cannot remember. However… surely our Delegate has voted for the best option. Always. Our Delegate is wise. We all love our Delegate. We… uh? No, there’s NO brainwashing, in TEP. Honest.
On the Forums ... The Lounge has been pretty quiet… probably because everyone was a bit busy with packing things for the incoming school-year. Or probably because we
are incredibly lazy. But do not insist. You’ll never get an official acknowledgment of this, so give up!
However, an interesting discussion has started when Gnidrah has told us all
about his new Mac. It’s still going on… with not-Mac-users still wondering on what this damned Quadra is!
Account-wise, Loop has finally put some order on his desktop… and he has found our old
membership tags… but at least for now nobody has yet decided if he wants to be a simple CITIZEN again, abandoning his exclusive BABYFACEHUGGER label…
Of course, if you just need a bit of fun, do not forget having a quick look at
our games subforum: you’ll surely find something interesting. And if you don’t… add it!
And finally, last but not least… (*drums*) … straight from our most-renowned subforum…
The Role Play Arena! First of all, TEP has its new
Shiro Academy! The traditional thread has moved to its year three. New characters, new RPers… always pointless, of course. Loves, rebellions, assaults, weapons of mass destruction. Another regular school-year, under the tropical sun of FPS…
In
Codename: Portico the Holy Empire of Gnidrah has finally made its move… a bombing one, to be exact. Come to see whether they’ll be able to face the consequences of their deeds or not!
Kandarin has struck again, trying to flood TEP with this lifespan-increaser drug. In a word…
Live Forever or Die Trying. As always, easy choices from the underground tunnels of Malev. However… let’s see what will happen!
Oh well… after some four months of silence, I suppose it can be enough… till the next update, ASAP on your screens!
