WOW! You decide to waste your FIRST post in this thread, huh? Besides, if you would have actually read the thread you will see that the Chancellor asks us to WAIT with our requests until the new map is done.

Gnidrah, I am agains EMC resigning... and I would like her to re-think her resignation, please. Sorry. Once the resignation was issued, in public, it was pretty much too late to turn back. It has been accepted by the Chancellor and finalized by the Delegate. EDIT: If she would like to reconsider, she can run for the position, next election.

Might I refer you to the following post: EXECUTIVE ORDER:There are to be no new map requests until the transition from the old-style to the new-style map is complete. One of the Ministers of Civilisation will inform you when this process is complete, and when you can begin to send your requests again. Furthermore, you may ask general questions regarding the map, other than what has already been answered, so long as it is appropriate. Otherwise, please refrain from asking nonessential questions, such as whether or not your nation is on the new map. So Ordered, Gnid Chancellor P.S. Please be patient for the duration of this project.

The URL to the map has been removed, and will not be on the WFE, until the new map is complete.

I suggest you ask EMC first. Otherwise, something needs to be worked out about this.

I am trying to work on the map to give him some help, I don't know if that qualifies me for the vice minister position. I will leave that to everyone else. I am working things out with AN right now..difficulties with languages is making the map making process a bit difficult.

We are not going to play the back-and-forth game. I want my ministers to be committed; dedicated to their jobs. If EMC is going to resign, then reconsider, and become your vice minister, she must be absolutely sure that is the choice she wants to make. Because if this does happen, and she resigns again, that's it -- no more chances, this term.
If EMC feels impulsive enough to resign again, then you're better off making her your assistant. And yes, there is a different. An assistant can be appointed by you, but does not hold the authority of a vice minister. The vice minister cannot be appointed by you; however, you may nominate an individual for the consideration of the Delegate and myself. Note that this does not guarantee them the position, but it does weigh heavily on the delegate's and chancellor's decision.
I know I probably sound mean, but I am just trying to maintain a stable cabinet. After all, if the Cabinet is not stable, it will be more of a hassle than it will be doing its job. And we -- myself, especially -- do not want that situation to arise. So what's it going to be, AN? ...EMC? ...Ness? It's up to you three to decide what happens next.

Gnidrah, I do not consider you mean and I completely understand what you are trying to say. I do not feel that I need a minister's title for helping draw or maintain a map. I was having problems with some of the administrative controls, I was doing things, which I didn't mean to do. It is not that I am not committed, I just do not feel that I am able to carry that kind of title. If I was just his assitant, I believe that would be better and it is not that I am going to be impulsive, it is just the fact that I do not want to constantly make the mistakes that may end up in me losing the vice-minister's position, anyway. I do not wish to banter back and forth, either. AN told me personally that he wanted me to change my mind and I told him that I would not do that because I know how unstable that makes me look. That is why I asked that the Chancellor and Deligate make the decision but I personally fell that remaining an assitant would be better for all concerned.
