"One funny fact about Argentina is that up to a couple of years ago, Argentines were very wealthy and would go vacationing in cheaper countries, such as the United States of America. Argentina's current capital is Buenos Aires, whos population is almost half of the whole countries, which happens to be 37 million." - Will's Travel Info

Over the years, Tuva has switched hands between Mongoloia, China, the USSR and Russia. Currently, Russia claims Tuva to be part of their country, but China refuses to recognize these claims and many Chinese maps include Tuva as part of China.

It was known to the Romans as "Arabia Felix" ("Happy Arabia") because of the riches its trade generated; Augustus Caesar attempted to annex it, but the expedition failed; Persian kings were more successful and Yemen became a Persian province in 597/8 under a Persian satrap.

The Orange Free State (Afrikaans: Oranje Vrÿstaat) was an independent country in southern Africa during the second half of the 19th century, and later a province in South Africa. It is the historical precursor to the present-day Free State Province. Extending between the Orange and Vaal rivers, it was established as a free state by Voortrekker settlers, after their departure from the British-dominated Cape Province (the Great Trek), and was annexed by the United Kingdom in 1848. The British recognised the independence of the Orange Free State on 17th February, 1854 and the country officially became independent on 23rd February, 1854, with the signing of the Contract of Bloemfontein (English: Contract of Flowerfountain). The Transvaal Republic, a sister Boer state, was granted independence around the same time.

Initially, Hungarian history and politics developed in close association with that of Poland and Bohemia, driven by the interventions of various Popes and Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire. Between 1241–1242, Hungary was devastated, sufferring great loss of life at the hands of Mongol (Tatar) armies of Batu Khan who defeated the Hungarians at the battle of Muhi.
