H4T is a proposed long-term campaign to help regional morale, growth, and activity. It is a long-term plan because some measures implemented from H4T could take a while to acquire; a higher regional population, for example. If H4T is lunched, then some Ministers will have a watchdog to make sure they are not slacking or not doing planed goals or activity. The whole point of the campaign it to tighten Hyrule’s lose shoe strings and et cetera As a community, we need to be more attractive. And attractive is: activity, good looks, firm rules, and a friendly atmosphere; did I mention strong foreign affairs too? Goals:Remodeling of the Forum Rebrand Regional Motto (and image of Hyrule) Citizen Registry (example)Decide if a forum admin or mod would be appropriate to assist Ness Find ways to help keep Ministries/Ministers Active (i.e. must post “X” amount per week…et cetera) Find ways to help keep Members active, to keep them around, and get them to help out (recruiting, posting, etc) Surplus the regional population (“losing really isn’t an option for theses guys”) Fix up Foreign Affairs (strengthen relations with current regions) Constitutional Suggest-A-Box (lets see what can be modified) Failure Options:Merge with another region (I will unite it with the spark in my chest) Disband the region (Give me the cube boy!) Let the region gradually die out (ALL HAIL MEGATRON!)
Now what you can do.... Opinions are great Thoughts and Ideas will be perfect And anything else that comes to mind...POST! POST! POST!

As I've said to you before, you have good ideas here. We should get to changing the motto first, as that is the easiest, and work our way to the harder things.
For Suggest-a-Box suggestions, how about lowering the term length to three months?

What if ministers are so busy they can't get time near a computer? Or what if they are away from a computer and they don't know how long they are going to be away for?

I'm all for the implementation of this program, but I am not so certain if we can gather the rather large support needed to see this plan all the way through (and keep that support)...Clamps brings up a rather good point as well...

What if ministers are so busy they can't get time near a computer? Or what if they are away from a computer and they don't know how long they are going to be away for? This is in the first stage. Things will be changed and new things will come. Naturally, if ministers become so busy that they can't tell anyone at all, then there position is protected under the constitution until they are considered inactive. We would hope that we could be informed of away time, but sometimes things happen. As to why I put "Find ways to help keep Ministries/Ministers Active," is because some ministries tend to slack off in activity. MoFA (MOFO) is a good example I can think of. "(i.e. must post “X” amount per week…et cetera)" is just a example to get minds to tick.

The failure options are bad. I think this is a good idea.

I will support this as much as i am able. I like this region. It does not deserve to die out. (failure option #3)

Well, the way I see, it all starts with having the veteran nations who've stayed around long enough to get them active in making sure they do whatever to keep Hyrule alive. Then, we convince the new arrivals of the importance of giving Hyrule longevity. Just my two cents.

I believe Canton Rouge hit this squarely on the head...While the nations that have been around much longer certainly will step up their efforts I second Canton's motion to promote the idea of a strong Hyrule to the nations that immigrate here. Hyrule is a special place and I in order to keep it that way the new nations need to sense that...

Agreed. We do have about 15 or so active nations here, and they could easily support regional activity while recruiting new members. I've got another idea, EM and I have talked about this before. How about creating a citizen registry? Basically there would be a thread, and people would post their NS nation's name, forum name, IM contacts (if they want), etc. This would make communication easier, and should help me remember which forum account is which nation. Does anyone have ideas for a forum colour scheme or a new motto? These would be the easiest to change.

What do you mean by "colour scheme"? Background? If so, I'd suggest some kind of green, since that's Link's main colour. Haven't thought of any motto ideas.
