Way to in depth for my liking...That's exactly why I left cybernations in the first place...
If anything I'll run Porcu for a few weeks and see how it goes but probably I'll just eventually let it die...

Awesome, EM! I found the alliance you've made, on World 5. When you get the ability to create a nation, do you get to choose the world and/or continent it resides on?

That looks exactly like every other nation making game. NationStates is original, that's why it's so awesome.

Ah, I see. All I hope is that we get to create our own continents (at least, if we're ambsasador status...) in the future.

I can truly say that NS1 is still going to be important, I feel, because it is a foundation to a community. NS2 just does not have a community feelings IMO as of right now (unless we can create our own continents in the future) and they don't have a way to find nations like NS1. They need to have a better search system. I personally feel that I don't want to go through pages of nations to find...lets say Ness & other ppls.
We will see how things go as time goes by and more and more of us become members of NS2.

I'm there as of yesterday and I must admit I'm not impressed.

I'm there as of yesterday and I must admit I'm not impressed. I'm truly on the fence. It has some much better features than NS1. I like regions, WA, delegates, and RMB; did I mention a better searching tool!? I think they should have made it similar to NS1 in the above aspects but with the new stuff they have in NS2. I, personally, think we are going to get more new members from NS1 than NS2...

I agree with EM; NS2 does not sound like the most community-focused of games, and NS1 will continue to be the main source of things.

Also, can you use the same name in different worlds? If I make my nation in World 4 and it turns out Hyrule is going to be created in a different World, is my nation's name worth a bucket of bull boils?
