Tony (left) and Michael (right) on the set of PTI "Welcome to Pardon The Interruption! We have a special show for everyone tonight, don't we Michael?" "I'll say we do! ESPN has for many years now dedicated itself to sports of all kinds found here in our region of Hyrule. Football certainly didn't start out as Hyrule's biggest sport but over the past few decades it has turned itself into a gigantic and very popular sport, raking in billions of dollars a year." "ESPN has broadcasted football matches before, however Pardon The Interruption will become the main transmitter of football information from now on. The Union of Hyrulean Football Associations, or UHFA, has recently created a region wide football league with the best of the best from many nations playing each other to determine who's the best club in Hyrule. The idea of a league such as this has been tossed around for years, but now it has become a reality." "Yes...and we are here to bring you the latest updates about the Premiership, the Championship, Leagues 1 and 2, and the grand-daddy of them all, the Champions League. Tony and I can guarantee you heated debates about the different teams and leagues and we will dish out our most professional opinions for just about anything...Alright Tony, what's first?" "Well, I guess we should start at the top and begin with The Premiership. I have to say that there are already some surprises..." "I'll say! Bayern Munich at the top! Who would've thought!" "It's only the second Matchday! I say watch out for Ajax, Pro Vercelli, and Chelsea. Those teams come from, what I consider, the best domestic football leagues in Hyrule." "What?!?! Ajax?! What...what...how..." "Just watch...or as my good friend, who is a addictive gambler, says "Listen to me now, believe me later"' *DING* "Damn it...can you believe it Michael!?! We're out of time. Join us again on Pardon The Interruption for the latest in UHFA news..."

You're using Tony's real name, why not Michael's?

Decided to not to completely copy, but I can see how that is such a minuscule change. I'll fix it...Damn it Macarono! I'm experimenting here

Again a minor suggestion, but instead of using the ESPN style thing, why not use the British Sky Sports Gillette Soccer Saturday? Its the greatest TV show on Gods green Earth. If you like I'll even do it for you. Save you the extra hassle. But obviously its up to you.

That's perfectly fine and you if you did that I would really appreciate it...Sorry I've never heard of the British Sky Sport Soccer Saturday, but living here in the US it's pretty much a sin not to watch ESPN

In addition to you doing PTI, I would like to do Around the Horn. I feel like using Michael Smith, Mariotti, Paige, and Adande.

Sure...In fact we can do all the different shows and not have to get rid of any. Rob could do the British Sky Sport, I could do PTI, and you, Macarono, could do Around the Horn. “Welcome once again to another edition of Pardon The Interruption. I’m Tony and with me, as always is Michael.” “The third matchday as passed and we are here to break down each league and provide whatever insight we can. There were several very good games over the weekend, of which I find the Divisoria SC – Corinthian game the best. It was a spirited draw and after their first game, which were losses, both teams wanted to come out and win big.” “Ya, both teams come from very respectable leagues, Corinthians even from the Brasiliaro Primero League. Even though it’s only been 3 weeks since the start of the season both team’s head coaches have come under fire for their team’s lack luster play. Certainly the football crazed fans of Brazil want more, but I believe it’s too early to start pointing fingers. Teams need to start playing as a one, something sometimes highly rated players forget…” “Alright, so the teams came to a draw Sunday and certainly there were many other games that merit being discussed on our program, but since the mid-week scheduled games have been announced it is time for us to predict. First up from The Premiership, Corinthians and Chelsea battle it out in Brazil. Home field advantage may help Corinthians battle from a poor start, but I’m going to go with Chelsea on this one.” “I completely agree…Chelsea has been too much for their opponents to handle. They battle hard all over the field, their offense is unstoppable, and their defense is amazing. It’ll be close as Corinthians won’t want to look bad in front of their fans but in the end I don’t think it’ll matter. Next, is The Championship’s PSV Palmacosta and AC Milan. Another close game to call, but I’m going with PSV simply because of the home crowd. If there’s one thing I’ve learned is that the crowd can energize a team better than anything else on this green earth…” “I’m not so sure. Milan’s got a great record away from their stadium in Porcu, the best in Serie A, and I don’t see why that shouldn’t carry over into this UHFA League…” “I respect your opinions, but I will point out that I have the lead in predictions. In other words my predictions are worth more than yours and are more accurate… *laughs*… Anyways, the UHFA met earlier this morning to discuss the league schedules. At the beginning of the season UHFA announced that each team will play each other team twice, however they have deviated from that stance a bit and now state, partway into the season mind you, that teams will be selected to play other teams randomly. Meaning that one given team may play another team 4 times and another 0 times. UHFA stays that this system will create rivalries much faster than their previous system, but will still make sure that a team plays a majority of the other teams during a season. What do you make of this Michael?” “I can see where they are coming from, but I really have to disagree…” “You don’t want to see rivalries?” “It’s not that…I want to see a team be matched up against every other team. This new way a team can slam another team 5 times in a 30 game season and not really prove that it’s a great team…” “But the UHFA will make sure that a majority of the teams play each other. It doesn’t mean that each consecutive season will be played exactly the same...” *DING* “Alright, that draws to a close another one of our shows. As always, it’s has been a pleasure and we hope that you’ll join us again next time.”
