Is there a way that we could set a limits on our endorsements..where ie...Gnid wants to endorse me but a message come up saying that the limit on endorsements have been reached, thank you for wanting to endorse this nation but unfortunately you are not able to do so? That way, no one gets over the limits or has to stress by asking people..ummm can you withdraw your endorsement...sorry, but I would feel bad doing that. I would not want to insult anyone. Just a suggestion. That can't be done, as that would involve changes within the NS game itself, something we can't do.

well, that is kind of stinky. Also makes it kind of difficult for some people.

Okay, how does this sound: -All nations are allowed to have a maximum of 55 endorsements. -Warnings about the endorsement limit will be sent out by the chancellor when said nations reach 35, 45, and 55 telegrams. -If a nation goes above the 55 endorsement limit, they will be asked to remove however many endorsements they are above the limit. They will have 36 hours to complete this task. Also, they have the choice to resign from the UN, but nations should also be encouraged to re-join the UN within 10-16 hours (and refer them to the "Importance of Joining the UN" thread in the announcements). @atlantico Norte, you would be above the endorsement limit, however it is important to have nations in the UN, as explained in this thread, so I suggest resigning from the UN, waiting about 10-16 hours after you resign, then re-apply to join the UN again. That way all endorsements will be removed - but when you re-join the UN, you can re-endorse the delegate and anyone else you want, and recieve endos in return, but make sure to stay under the limit.

Anyhow.... let just me say that I am against this limit. And I guess that you shout have a voting about it... so you could decide how many endorsments is the ideal number... because as I've stated before... I guess that Hyrule is a democracy, right? So it's not polite to impose a limit without listening to the opinions of everyone.

It's important to have a low limit, though, because as Tasman said: Setting the limit at 60 leaves the region open to invasion. It would be a simple matter for someone to move into the region, endo swap until they reached the 60, and then overnight have a group of friends move in and endorse them, thus taking over the delegacy and changing the Hyrule we know. That's what invading is all about, and I don't think we want to leave ourselves open to it by risking our delegate.

As I've told you... just let me know if I am an imminent threat...

Ness, I will try to explain this to AN the best way I can...There are other regions in the world that would be able to invade ours if each of us hold too many endorsements. They are not saying that having the endorsements is bad, but having too many is. An invasion is not a pretty sight from what I have heard and it will be really difficult for us if such a thing occured.
So, it's not to keep us from getting endoresements it is to keep us safe from invasion, I do suggest you do as Ness had told you and resign from the UN and then put yourself back in. Hey, Ness how is that possible? Can you really take yourself in and out like that?

Yeah, it is. You can join the UN as many times as you like, as long as you only have one nation in the UN at a time.

AN, the Ambassador from the EP posted a link to a bill they just passed called the "Revised Endorsement Restriction Act". When you consider that the EP has well over 5500 nations, and the Delegate around 250 endorsements and then read the Act, you may see how seriously even the feeder regions are taking the situation.

You inform the United Nations that The Republic of Atlantico Norte will no longer participate in its corrupt, hollow debates. From this moment forward, your nation is on its own.

I still am AGAINST this idea  . AN is not an invader, and it is good to have a vice-delegate in reserve

I know AN is not an invader, but there are other people in certain regions who are.
A vice-delegate, however, would be a great idea.

Well... I just resigned from the UN. I hope that everyone is happy now... Yes Krit... I am not an invader... but I guess that I was representing a big threat for the "equilibrium" of Hyrule!

And now, AN, you have the option to re-apply for UN status.
